I ordered a graduation arrangement 4 days in advance, for pick up at noon. When I arrived to pick it up at 12:15, it was not ready. I waited 25 minutes for them to finish, and they said or did nothing to apologize for my wait. 1 stupid dipped strawberry and a "I'm sorry" would have made me happy, but I got nothing. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my daughter for her birthday. She was not able to be home for the delivery time. She told the driver to deliver it the next day. I called and spoke to the manager (Steven) to see if there was any way I could have it delivered to her later in the day since she got home before they closed. She is a very hard working mother of three with a child who has Cystic Fibrosis. She is also a devoted Registered Veterinary Technician. She never thinks of herself and I wanted her to have a special surprise for her birthday. I live in Santa Cruz and am taking care of my husband who is recovering from back surgery so I could not be there. The driver was not able to do it before the end of his day BUT Steven said he would return to the shop an hour after they close so the arrangement could be picked up by my Son-in-law who could not be there before closing. This is the true meaning of customer service. When I explained my situation to him, he showed the human kindness I would hope for from a business I dealt with. I have tried to order from the Folsom location several times and every time it is a horrible experience. I decided to give them one more try this morning. They claim to open at 8 am but when I called at 8:15 there was no answer. The machine says to press 1 for voicemail... once doing so it hung up on me. I called back at 8:30, still no answer, I waited to leave a message this time... it once again hung up on me. I called one more time at 9:00 and a woman finally answered. I told her about trying to call in when it says they opened and what the voicemail does and her reply was "oh, weird, I don't know, what can I help you with". I then began my order to which she said to have same day delivery by a specific time I would have had to call at 8:00 (which I did... several times), then I told her what I wanted, online it said $29 and $12 for delivery, she tried to charge me $60. I told her what online said and she replied oh ok I'll change it. I was so frustrated, I expressed that to her and asked to speak to a manager and she said that she was the manager. While explaining my disappointment in the company she interrupted me and asked if I was going to place the order or not. She didn't care one bit and had no interest in trying to resolve the problem. I 100% agree with Renee' B, WOW, 5 STARS TO CORPORATE 0 for this location. Business must be booming if this guy doesn't want corporate sending him business and an order to fulfill. I was in a hurry to send out 3 thank you gifts to various locations so I ordered from the customer care center over the phone. One order was fulfilled from this Folsom location, but the customer care rep let me know I'd have to contact the store directly to receive my 20% off. Boy, was that a mistake, I barely got a few words out before I was overrun with questions as to WHY I didn't contact him directly to place my original order, wow, really? Very snippy and rude. I looked here to see what others had to say. I too am amazed this company has such a 'bad apple' in their bunch. I told him I didn't need his attitude and he started arguing with me. I said a few choice words, hung up, contacted customer care and they took care of everything. The simple fact that I was able to have all three orders taken from one call - instead of contacting different stores was great customer service, it was convenient for me - the customer. I would have never known there was a Folsom location until placing the order through customer care, and I had planned on using this store in the future. He just lost my business. read more

Giving one star is being nice! I pre-ordered online an arrangement for my husband for Valentine's Day with a Feb 13 delivery. Needless to say nothing was delivered. I received a confirmation email from Edible Arrangements stating the date that it was to be delivered (February 13th). When my delivery was not delivered on the Feb. 13, I called the store to inquire what the issue was and was unable to speak to anyone. I called multiple times. When I called during business hours, I had to listen to an automated message and was asked to leave a message. Every time I tried to leave a message, I was disconnected. So, I was never able to leave a message. I sent an email explaining my dissatisfaction of their customer service on February 14th at 3 pm since there was still no delivery of my arrangement. Still no phone call or email from Edible Arrangements. I continually checked my email with nothing from Edible Arrangements. At 4pm on Valentine's Day, I decided to cancel my order. Now we are on Day 3(February 15th) I finally get a call (at 5 pm) from Edible Arrangements. First the male employee never identified himself by name just stated he was from Edible Arrangements. At no time did he apologize for the lack service his business provided or for basically ruining my Valentine gift to my husband. The male employee stated he received my email and phone call. But there was no way Edible Arrangements could have delivered my arrangement on Feb 13 because his delivery person was up the hill in the snow. Edible Arrangements obviously cannot handle their business appropriately if they only have one truck and it is up the hill. (So my question is was my arrangement in that truck or was this delivery guy supposed to come back to the store and pick it up?) This unidentified employee at Edible Arrangements stated he tried to call but got my husband. At no time did Edible Arrangements ask my husband if the arrangement could be delivered at a later date with the explanation of the delivery person stuck up the hill in the snow. All the caller stated was there was a problem with the delivery and to call the store. This is poor service and apparently Edible Arrangements doesn't want continued business!!! First time experience with them and now my LAST!!! read more

Very poor customer service. I ordered online 2 days earlier and chose 8:30 only because i did no think i would get there by 8, and 8:15 was not an option. I arrived at 8:05 and the store was locked; hours on door indicated they open at 8. At 8:10 someone arrived. As she walked by me to unlock the door she asked if i had an order. I said yes and she said it would be a few minutes. I was not sure if i was suppose to wait on the curb or in the lobby. When i chose the lobby i was given a look like that was not the right choice. I waited 20 mins in the bare lobby with no answer to why...maybe tell me that you are wrapping it up or putting on the finishing touches. All i could hear was the sink running and the sound of tools being washed. Then i heard the sound of a garage bag being opened. It sounding like she was preping for the day. I had already paid online so it was not like there needed to be someone there to ring me up. It just felt like she was waiting till exactly 8:30 to hand me my all ready ready order. Why could you just go get it when you got there? Seriously....after i heard the garbage bag open she comes out and says here you go and pretty much just swings the order into my hands. She never asked if this was my first order, if i had any questions, or anything...it was a pretty much get lost feeling. Order was not worth the money either. Fruit had finger marks as if squeezed too hard, strawberries were on the verge of going bad. Totally not worth the money. I won't do that again. read more

This was my first time into Edible Arrangements at this location, and I absolutely loved it. I went in wanting a small bouquet of chocolate covered strawberries for a birthday. I was greeted very quickly. Both of the people that helped me were so charming, patient, and personable. I was being slightly indecisive on how I wanted the strawberries done. They both worked with me, and were very willing to figure out a way to let me get the exact order I wanted at an amazing price. They made me laugh, and engaged in conversation. Which is something I greatly appreciate, because so many businesses are very quick to get you in and out. This was not the case with the two men that worked with me today, they didn't mind at all how long it took to get my order complete, and they both seemed to genuinely care about my satisfaction. It was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be going back to order more for the next birthday, or holiday. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. read more
