If I could give zero stars, I would. I had an extremely disappointing experience with the Kirkland location. After my $200 Mother's Day order was never delivered, I was told they could not complete the delivery hours after it was supposed to arrive, despite placing the order several days in advance. The most concerning part is that I was told the only way to receive a refund was to provide my debit card information over the phone. When I explained that I was not comfortable doing that, the manager, Niko, was rude and dismissive and refused to offer any alternative solution. Shortly after, my order status was changed to "attempted delivery," which seemed like an intentional move to make it harder for me to receive my refund. There was zero accountability, no empathy, and no effort to resolve the situation. For a $200 order, and especially a Mother's Day gift, this level of service is unacceptable. I did not realize the reviews were so poor for this store as my only aim was to send a friend a nice gift for her birthday from states away! I ordered the arrangement online in advance with confirmation it would be delivered but on the day of, I see the status as "cancelled" and was very confused and in a state of panic as I didn't have a backup plan. (Who would in this scenario???) I tried calling this store multiple times but no one ever picked up and I never received a call back. I tried contacting them online via a support ticket as well. I only found out from my friend hours later that the arrangement had been delivered and even later did I receive a notification from the store that it was delivered. This is very unprofessional and irresponsible as a company to have no point of contact or channel or communication for these type of issues. Due to me thinking the order was cancelled, I scrambled to DoorDash some sweet treats to my friend. A gracious friend got these for us a couple of times. The first was a fruit bouquet and the second time, we got chocolate covered fruit with a flower bouquet. The fruit bouquet was nice. Not sure how much it was but the fruit didn't look like they were old or dried out. The chocolate covered fruit box is beautifully packaged. I am glad that it wasn't all shifted and messy. The fruit was strawberries, bananas, and apples. The chocolate itself was really thick and hard. It kind of hurt my teeth to bite on it to be honest. The banana/chocolate combo and the apple/chocolate combo were a little strange to me. I honestly thought the slices were oranges (as in TJ orange and chocolate candy). I looked online for the price of the chocolate and flowers and it was $87. Quite hefty for 9 chunks of fruit and flowers. The flowers are pretty and lasted several days to a week. We are thankful for our food friends who thought about us too. The delivery person handed it to me. Seemed friendly (and wreaked of cigarette smoke) but she was nice. read more

I get an annual arrangement sent to me and I greatly look forward to it. This is the first time I get one from the Kirkland location and it was sadly disappointing. The packaging is cute and pink for Valentine's Day, presentation is okay but the freshness of the fruit could be so much better. It's like it had been sitting out a bit and some chocolate covered strawberries and pineapple slices were soft and didn't taste as good as I had hoped for. I ordered online in May, a week in advance to be delivered to someone in Washington! Customer Service: Communication was excellent! I received a text message on the day the basket was scheduled to be delivered to make sure someone would be home to receive it. Imagine that! Happy Recipient: Not only was the recipient super happy and surprised, she sent me photos & videos of the gift. I also received an enthusiastic phone call! Haha! I had an order placed well in advance for a delivery to a business that closed at 5. I saw the delivery truck was out for delivery around 11am so I was hopefully it was going to arrive within the next hour or so. Throughout the day I was realizing it was cutting closer to 5 and I called the shop just to get an angry sounding worker to say "we don't know where the truck is" which is absurd considering this is a delivery service that doesn't let you know how far away they are. The arrangement arrived at 4:45 right before the business closed, so it might as well have gone to a house instead. Very upsetting. read more

So. Not. Happy. I placed an order by phone on 4/30/22, speaking slowly and clearly, repeating the address - several times, only for it to be taken down incorrectly. A wrong ordinal of "NE" instead of "NW"... One letter makes a big difference. That's on the other side of town! She must have started typing, and had multiple addresses pop up on her screen, and she clicked on the wrong one in the drop-down. Fine. But not fine. She could have caught her mistake, if she was paying any attention to the zipcode as well. She could have said something like, "I see a different zipcode for that address. It ends in a 5 instead of 7." I would have asked her to read me back what she had on the screen. But she disregarded IT and ME. When she called me later in the day to say it was undeliverable, and that the driver said there is no such person at that address, I told her there was, and repeated the complete address AGAIN, with "NW" and "7". She told me it was wrong, again, and to call her back when I had the right address, but there was nothing they could do except attempt another delivery Monday, if at all. The driver left; he had to continue on with his other stops. Then she went home for the day. Great. I started to doubt myself. Did they move and not tell me or anyone? The gal made me feel like I was an idiot. Yes, I gave her an old landline, a mistake I admit to, but I gave her a cell phone number too. She said the driver tried to call it, but my friend said she never got a call. She picked right up when I called her. I asked her if she moved, knowing though that she hadn't. I read her the address I had for her. She said it was correct. I was so upset. Later that night, or the next day, I forget, I was checking my emails, and I found the order confirmation from Edible Arrangements. I immediately saw their mistake. "NE"!!! Not a wrong house number, but rather the wrong ordinal direction. I also saw an erroneous email that said my order was delivered, and it gave me a link if I'd like to leave a tip. Seriously? I didn't want to spend $173 and they receive 2 or 3 day-old fruit, for no fault of my own, so I called the customer service line to cancel my order, telling them how upset I was and how stupid that lady in the Kirkland, WA store made me feel. TEN DAYS LATER, customer service calls me to try and make things right. They'll deliver it next day, with a free gift of chocolate covered fruit, valued at $39, and reimburse me for the delivery charge. I agreed. I thought that was fair. Everyone makes mistakes, I guess. Well, the basket was delivered. And supposedly the fruit was delicious. That's why I was generous enough to give 2 stars. BUT!!! It was missing the extra pieces of chocolate covered bananas that I paid an extra $12 for. AND!!! It was missing the free gift. So, I paid for goods that weren't delivered, and the whole thing about sending a free gift was apparently a lie. I wonder if I was even given the delivery fee back. The customer service representative took my credit card number down to credit it, but I was probably charged a second delivery fee. I'll have to check my bank statement. Fed Ex denied our claim, so we figured Edible Arrangements would help us out since they use FedEx for deliveries. I've called this location several times, but can NEVER get through. Left messages and sent the co emails. Needless to say we will never use Edible Arrangements again. If Edible Arrangements won't stand by their decision to use FedEx and ensure that it's product arrives safely and EDIBLE to the recipient, they don't deserve your business. What a TERRIBLE experience. Our staff and students collected money to have a special surprise delivered for our admins on National Administrative Professionals Day (April 27th). I ordered on Monday the 25th and selected "school" as the location. My expectation would be that this would be delivered within school hours. at 1:30 I visited the website which said my order was "in transit" and to keep an eye out for the refrigerated truck. By 3:15, still, nothing had been delivered. I called the store and no one answered. I left a message and no one called me back. By 3:45 all of our students and staff were pretty much gone. I called back again, and the woman I spoke to told me that she would call the courier to see where they were. Then got back on the line, and told me it would be there in 5-10 minutes. Unfortunately, since staff and students had already left, we wouldn't be able to give this to our admins. The woman on the phone told me, "put it in the fridge and give it to them tomorrow". Really? I ordered it for that special day to be delivered and given that day, not a day later. It was $160! The person who delivered it showed up 25 minutes later, closer to 4:30. There was no refrigerated truck like the website promised. Just some random person in an old car with our arrangement in the backseat. Since the website indicated it was "in transit" at 1:30 and it was delivered at 4:30, this means it sat in this person's car, unrefrigerated, for at least 3 hours. The fruit and the inside of the bag were covered in condensation from the heat as it was a sunny day. I tried calling the store back and asked for the manager's contact information. I was provided with an email address. I emailed to share my experience, no response. So I ended up calling the customer service number. They created a "case number" for me, wrote down my experience, and told me the store would reach out to me directly within 48 hours. No contact at all. So I email again, no response. So I call customer service again and AGAIN am told the store will reach out to me. Well, clearly they won't so I ask for the manager of the store's name and she tells me I should call the store and ask. Oh my gosh. So then I ask the customer service representative to speak to HER manager so I can try and talk to someone who will actually do something with this information. While I have been waiting on hold for her to find her manager, I have written this entire review. I have been on the phone with them for 45 minutes at this point and still no resolution. Bottom line, DO NOT waste your money on this place. It is not worth the overpriced fruit to deal with the atrocious customer service and lack of responsibility that this place takes. I called at 5 it's not delivered so I said to cancel and give me a refund. They said ok but later that day deliver it to somewhere and say it was delivered. She got a notice that they were sent via FedEx so instead of being delivered the day she had scheduled, they went passed my house to Troutdale, OR. then back to Olympia and finally delivered the following day (today July 21st) in the afternoon, they were no longer cold, flipped all over the place and because they were no longer cold or had been refrigerated as stated on the box, they had started to go bad from the humidity inside the box causing them to sweat. I placed an order for a fruit bouquet to be delivered to family after having surgery. I asked that it be delivered the next day I was not going to rush the company and make them deliver it the day I ordered it. I tracked the order said it was out for delivery I called the company to ask them a question they never answered the phone during business hours on the 31st and then they called me and told me that they couldn't deliver the fruit because they didn't have anybody to deliver it and the third-party that they were going to use couldn't do it and the employees couldn't do it because it was too far yet in their service area. I will never ever use this company again. They offered to deliver it on Monday since I couldn't on Saturday but I know that it would just be rotten fruit sitting there for days so I'm asking for a refund I should've read the reviews first. I'd love to be able to say my most recent purchase from Edible Arrangements was great--unfortunately, since this location can't be bothered to respond to emails via their "Contact us" form, and never confirmed delivery, and the day of delivery, I got a "call me back, they can't find the (recipient)" at 11:25pm my time--I can only say their communication is terrible, and they aren't interested in getting back to their customers in any way. We live outside the US and so our contact hours are out of sync. When I got the phone call, I was asleep, and couldn't respond. I followed up immediately the next day, and tried to get in contact with the Kirkland location multiple times since. At no point have they ever tried to return an email or a phone call. The delivery person was borderline rude in their message, and I never got confirmation of whether delivery was made or not--even their website couldn't tell me. It took reaching out to the recipient to confirm they got it--and the reason we never heard back from our friend, who was having surgery? Oh, Edible Arrangements didn't bother including the card we sent. Great job folks, you should absolutely have to follow-up with a person receiving surgery to make sure they got a get well gift. In short, service is terrible and if there's a problem, know they aren't interested in fixing it or responding, no matter how patient and polite you are. I've taken this up with PayPal to issue the refund and they show a tracking of how many times they have tried to reach the owners and haven't received a response. It's absolutely ridiculous. Trying to get a refund since March 16 and it's May 17th. The people who run the Kirkland, Bellevue, and Seattle location are all the same folks and they are all liars and thieves. Do not give them your business. Hopefully with enough complaints the owner of the brand will cancel the franchise owner. People can get sick from this. read more

My friend sent me a mini fruit boutique, and it was horrible. The strawberries had big black spots. The pineapple was sour. I called the location and had to leave a voice-mail, but no one ever returned my call regarding my concerns about the quality. My daughter received a text message from Edible Arrangement stating that the driver was on the way. She waited for hours for her edible arrangement gift, which never arrived. However, the only acknowledgement for this horrible incident made by the edible arrangement company was to refund my money, which was poor customer service.
