My husband received an edible arrangement as a gift! The fruit bouquet contained cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple and strawberry and some of the fruit was dipped in chocolate. I ordered an arrangement for a family for after the cemetery. The Deerfield office had the office and said they would not deliver until between 2-7. She was so rude. Obviously, she hates her job and is cold hearted. I had placed the order 2 days prior thinking they could get a jump on the order. If I had known that they would not fill the order until the afternoon I would have ordered it for the previous day. I still can't get over on how rude the lady on the phone treated me. I was told they close at 5, the website says they close at 7. I walk in at 6 and there were people standing around. Usually if a place is closed, they will lock the door, especially over an hour after closing. Different sites stated different hours, this was very confusing. The most alarming part was how aggressive the woman was with telling me they were closed, especially because the door was wide open. This is my first time at this location, second time using edible arrangements. I had a fantastic experience here. I came in not knowing if they had ready made arrangements. They usually do not,but they said they would be able to make me a special birthday bouquet. The cashier Katrina was very polite and even gave me a sample of their new pineapple cupcakes. In these times of COVID, I wanted to support a local business and order a birthday gift for a family member from Edible Arrangements, rather than a gift card to a department store or Amazon. I was apprehensive to order fruit during the summer, with the heat, and made sure to express my concerns. I ordered a dozen Chocolate Covered strawberries for delivery on Saturday, July 12 (placed the order on July 11). The day of the delivery, I was contacted by a representative of the Palatine location to confirm delivery time. I appreciated the call. I confirmed that the recipient would be home between 1 and 4, at the suggestion of the company for delivery. The items were delivered before 11 a.m., and luckily, someone was home to receive the chocolate covered strawberries since this was not the time-frame specified on the phone call earlier that day. The strawberries were refrigerated upon receipt, and when shared for the birthday celebration that evening, 10 of the 12 had mold on them. I contacted the store on Monday, explained the situation, and expected to receive a full refund, since they were not "edible" . I was told by the person on the phone that I can only receive a partial refund. I was disappointed obviously since the entire order was not consumed. I was mortified that the gift was not consumed. I was offered a new box of 12 to be delivered on Monday, and because of the experience, I did not want a new order sent to the recipient. I asked to speak to the Manager, and was told "Serina" was too busy and she would not be able to contact me today. I was not given a time she would call and was directed to Corporate. Corporate contacted the store and after again hoping for a resolution, I was told a complaint would be filed that went to the owner of the franchise with a copy to Corporate, and that the manager or owner of the franchise has 48 hours to contact me. I am disappointed that the company did not address my immediate concerns and stand behind their product. Instead, I was told that they could not control that the heat affected the quality of their product and I would need to wait to speak to the Manager. This remains unsolved and has left me with no option but to never order from the company again. Buyer beware. They do not stand behind their product and would rather lose a customer than do the right thing and refund the customer. At minimum, I would hope that the Manager would contact a unhappy customer to resolve the situation. Please reconsider buying any fruit from this company, especially when the weather is warm/hot as it does affect their products. read more

Arrangement looked great! Wish they had boxes for every size vase. All the boxes up front were ripped AND too big and they stated it should be fine anyways. Wasn't fine and didn't hold my arrangement. I had to hold the arrangement the whole tome while I drove cause it kept tipping over. The store needs to throw away the ripped boxes and make sure they have a size for every size vase that they sell. read more

Friendly lady answered the phone, took my order and gave me an ETA for my beautiful gift boquet! I can't say enough great things about the Edible Arrangements in Palatine. After a very close family friend suddenly passed away, I wanted to send something special to the family. Flowers were not personal enough and sending food from a restaurant required 24 hrs. notice. In my search I came across Edible Arrangements and gave them a call. The person I spoke with was very helpful as well as patient as they helped me find a visual of their suggested item. Once I saw the beautiful fruit display I knew it was the ideal gift. They delivered it the same day which was almost perfect. The best part came when the delivery could not be accepted until 2 days later (family request). Edible Arrangements called me with the news and said they would remake it and send a fresh one in 2 days....at no additional charge. This was customer service plus!!! Talked to Anthony this morning. After reading other Edible Arrangement Yelp reviews near my brother, Store #604 sounded the best so I called him. Anthony was amazing. He went the extra distance to make my delivery. My brother just had prostate cancer surgery 3 days ago & I wanted to send him something to cheer him up. Anthony suggested a "Thinking about You" mylar balloon with the arrangement. Perfect! My brother already received it and he loved it. It brought tears to my eyes because I'm in Denver & I can't hug him, so Edible Arrangements #604 hugged him for me! I'd use these guys again & again! read more

i spent a little over a $100 for a beautiful arrangement with a teddy bear and balloon. i was aiming for the element of surprise by having them delivered to her work with out her knowing. they were to be delivered after 5pm to her work. unfortunately the delivery guy did not read the instructions and gave her a call at 330pm asking her were ulta is...? and with that not only was the surprise spoiled the delivery guy gave my girlfriend attitude for his fk up and dropped off the arrangement at her house. for a $100 for fruit and delivery service i was definatley ripped off! only reason i give them 2 stars is cause the arrangement was on point but the service sucked. read more
