I have never purchased a Nothing Bundt cake before. When I received a buy one, get one free coupon I thought I would go to the location that was nearby. When I walked in, it's definitely a cute store. Very clean, bright and had a great display case with different sized Bundt cakes. The different cakes were arranged nicely in the case. The woman who was the cashier and I don't remember her name, she had short hair and glasses was very helpful. She showed me the different flavors and about the newly released s'more flavor. I brought the cakes home and took a bite of each and couldn't believe how moist and dense the cakes were. And how delicious the frosting was. I am a baker, so I'm particular about buying baked goods. These were definitely a winner. I purchased a carrot cake, which was quite good. I don't believe it had any nuts in it. I always enjoy stopping into this location for an occasional treat. The store is clean and inviting, and the workers are always very friendly. Most importantly the cakes are delicious. It's really hard to go wrong with any of their cakes because their cream cheese frosting is so amazing, but my favorites are the white chocolate raspberry and carrot cake. We used Nothing Bundt cakes for our wedding favors. So many compliments! The ordering process was so easy (great service!) and the bundlets were so delicious! Only one thing was that the delivery driver just dropped 70 bundlets in front of the door on a warm May day. Luckily, my husband found them a second after they'd been dropped off at the venue but I would've appreciated the delivery driver handing the bundlets off to someone so they didn't have a chance to melt the cream cheese. read more

The environment around the bakery is small but cozy. The workers here are so kind, and their Bundt cakes are even better. I really love their cream cheese frosting it is so tasty and addicting. Okay so I kind of can't believe that I haven't tried this place sooner, my friends have been telling me about it for a while and I finally made it out one week day on a rainy day when I was just craving something sweet. They had samples out which is always a plus as they may inspire you to buy something you wouldn't think of buying which they had the funfetti cake which was so absolutely yummy! I also bought a smaller one of the double chocolate chip with extra frosting as we are frosting people at my house. It was tasty but not as tasty as the funfetti one. I felt like there could have been more texture with the chocolate one but the chocolate chips weren't very crunchy in the cake part. My only annoyance of this place is that the cupcakes are only served by the dozen. I don't think that's smart marketing. What if you come for your two larger cakes and you have two kids sitting in the car who don't want to wait till they get home to eat the cakes, why not sell the little cakes? It just doesn't make sense that those can't be offered as singletons which isn't right in my opinion. You can go to any cupcake store and buy just one or two or however many cupcakes without any rules. So if they change that policy I would definitely be a frequent cupcake buyer. 12 is too much for an every day purchase. read more

Nice efficient experience here! I've been going to the Mt Prospect and Skokie locations in the past, but this one happened to be convenient for me this time around. I also had a BOGO bundlet coupon. There is plenty of parking out front and the staff is very nice. Like the other locations, they also have a corner with samples all the time. Always a delight! Ew I'm really bummed about the Bundt cakes I bought today. I bought 2 gluten free chocolate chip ones that are like burnt!!! Way too well done!! And hard!! Wow! I tried two of the many flavors and took home two of their bundtlets. They are so great! So many awesome flavors to choose from and with how delicious my two first time choices were it will be hard to refrain myself from returning to not try the other flavors. This could get dangerous. The bundtlets are large enough to share, I would compare their size to a very large cupcake or big muffin. Happy to have them open right here in Deer Park! Great cakes--always moist. Great icing--cream cheese frosting goes with all their offered flavors with just the right amount on each one. I've tried almost all flavors and have enjoyed the variety. I like that they offer seasonal/monthly flavors. I like that they provide taste samples. Shop is very small with a lot of cutesy things to buy for your kitchen or "party". And every time I've been there, there's always other customers... which is a good sign!
