I received an Edible arrangement for my birthday, and it was horrible. It was very ripe, the strawberries were mushy, the cantaloupe and melon was translucent and mushy as well. Was a bit skeptical given the reviews here. The person I was gifting the butterfly arrangement to lives in Gburg so I ordered from Olney. Voicemail response system has annoying high pitched fake voice. I called to see if order has been delivered and the automated system said it needed to transfer me to speak with someone but it transferred me to silence during several attempts. By the end of the day I logged in and saw that the order had been delivered. I had requested text confirmation of the order and a text never came. The person who I sent it to thanked me for the gift. Purchased a birthday gift for my sister who works at NIH. Thankfully the delivery guy called her to give her a heads up. However, I have never had a delivery at the end of the day. I called to verify after my sister didn't text me she got anything by lunch time. I stated it was a business delivery. Maybe it should also state a window you'd prefer. Luckily my sister stayed late to wait for the delivery guy otherwise the delivery would have been missed, she only goes into the office one day a week and she's leaving to go out of town. I loved the product but they are very dishonest with their billing. I sent out several of their arrangements in a six month period, only to find out that my credit card was charged and several of the arrangements never were sent. When I called them, after being told by a friend that she never got one of them, they acknowledged they have no record of sending them out (3 different charges). They did acknowledge that they show the credit card charge. They would not take the charge off. They told me to dispute it with my credit card company. The credit card company took off only the ones in the last 2 months. I would not ever order from a company that does not assure you of sending out the product or refunding the money if they don't send it. Very dishonest practice! read more

I placed an order on 3/6/24 for a Get Well Bouquet Dipped Strawberries (Large) which was $84.99. It was delivered yesterday, 3/7/24. My brother took pictures of it and sent them to me. I was very disappointed. The pictures did not look like the picture on their website. I paid for a large, but it looked more like a medium or smaller. The presentation in the plastic wrap was not very pretty in addition to what it looked like after the plastic wrap was removed. My brother said the oranges were dried out. I am very disappointed with this order. I called them yesterday evening and left a message for someone to return my call but I didn't receive a call back. I sent an email to them this morning and it was kicked back. For the amount of money that I paid for this bouquet, it should have looked a lot better and had more fruit in it than what it did. Called to ask about it, was forwarded to corporate, who responded with "policy states that balloons may vary", sorry but there's nothing we can do. My understanding was the font, size or color won't be exactly the same, not a totally different product. 10/10 won't trust them with important announcements again, very upsetting. At the very least a phone call from the store saying they're out of stock would have been expected. $100 wasted, and a very special moment ruined. read more

The Rockville store delivery person just left the edible arrangement outside on the recipient's walkway since she didn't answer. Animals, insects, or even a passerby could have gotten into it, and of course it wasn't refrigerated. As soon as I saw the photo of the delivery they sent me via email, I tried to call the Rockville store since I placed the order online with them. They didn't answer even though I kept calling and calling. The call just rolled over to the corporate offices who said they couldn't do anything other than leave a message for the store. Finally, I tried the Silver Spring store and a lovely woman there was able to resolve the problem-- even though it wasn't her store. The Rockville location is terrible. read more

I have been ordering from this location for a few years now for various occasions and they have not disappointed me. Orders were always received at a good time and no complaints from the recipient. I made the unfortunate decision of placing an order at another location I thought was closer for Valentine's day. I ordered a large arrangement for my husband to be delivered for his birthday to his work place. The young man working at the location called me to tell me that the driver says there is no one in my husbands office by that name and he has the driver on speaker as well ... after 3 phone calls back and forth with the driver and myself as well as my husband very laid back office who was there in the office the driver wasn't saying his name properly by the way a very easy name to say...I just don't wish to post it. Then my driver calls me back to tell me it was delivered I told him thank you yet I didn't appreciate the way he spoke to me on the phone and I didn't see it as professional or courteous; he then said "you're buggin' out" and hung up on me! I called the location and the young man who originally spoke to me picked up I explained to him everything he was apologetic and explained that this is his mother and step father company and he is helping them and then went on and on about how his mother isn't stern enough with employees etc. I wasn't there to be a consular I needed something to be solved because during this the driver was then calling my husbands boss a CEO of a large company saying how he needed to call his boss to tell him how he did a good job. 5 Stars***** I ordered an arrangement for my daughter's birthday online from the Rockville store, specifying that it had to be delivered before 11:00 am the next day. I received a call mid-day saying they tried to deliver, she was not answering the door or her cell. She has a new baby and her cell phone was dead. They said they cannot always see special requests made through the online portal, you have to call the store directly. They wanted to re-deliver the next day, same fruit bouquet - I was not happy with that solution as they are made fresh each morning. They said they could not go back out the same day - I was not happy with that either. Even though the gentleman on the phone was very nice, I became very frustrated and told him I was unhappy and would call him the next day. I received a call from my daughter that evening that the store felt so bad about the mix up, they had one of their drivers deliver the arrangement after hours on his way home! That's what I call customer service - doing whatever it takes to get get the job done. I am a happy and return customer to this store. I am a huge fan of Edible Arrangements. I order various arrangements and/or boxes of the fruit dipped in chocolate for my clients, friends, family, and even myself. Everytime I send one, the recipient is always so happy. I never have to worry about someone disliking it or even worse having to return it for another size. Over the years I have ordered from various Edible Arrangements locations and I came to realize that the associate's from the store at 5050C Nicholson Lane in Rockville, Md give me the best customer service. Not only are their goodies delicious (Lately I have been rewarding myself with chocolate covered bananas and apples) but every person I have interacted with has gone out of there way to ensure that I have a great experience. Because I use Edible Arrangements quite frequently, they gave me a coupon for 12 pieces of chocolate covered fruit for free. I recieved the offer approximately 9 months ago and it was set to expire on August 18 2019. For some reason I had it in my head that the coupon expired at the end of August. I found out that my coupon had expired on August 28th when I called up the Rockvilke store for my free box. I wasn't mad when I found out that my offer had expired because in addition to it being my fault, this was actually the second free 12 piece box of chocolate covered fruit I had gotten. Edible Arrangements gave me the second coupon for my Birthday which was in June. Anyway, I placed the order anyway because the fruit is so delicious. When I went to pick up my order, the manager Clint gave me $15 off because he felt bad that I hadn't used my coupon in time. That was so nice of him. I never review businesses but I feel as if I had to review this location. I placed an order online for 4:00 pickup. I have ordered from another location before so I know they can be a bit busy. I set my order for 4:00 and I didn't get off until 4:30. I made it into the location around 5:00. When I arrived I thought it was closing time because all the workers were leaving. I wasn't greeted when I walked in. The young guy there was fraternizing with some lady lingering around. They were in no immediate hurry to greet me. I told them I was there to pick up an order and he found my slip left there on the counter. He looks in both the coolers. When he came out he said your fruit is drying. Give it like 15 minutes. Well I know for sure my order wasn't made at 4:00 he did a rush job to make my fruit. He told me to wait 10 additional minutes. So I waited then I proceed to ask for money back. The guy operating the registers were a bit snappy. I told him I had an order slated for pickup and here it is 5:00 and I'm waiting. It clearly wasn't made and the guy came from the back and said give it just 2 more minutes. The other cashier said "it takes two minutes to process my refund" when we do it it will be ready. Well I didn't care if it was ready the principle was it was supposed to be done at 4:00. I arrived late just in case there were other mishaps. He was very rude telling me I need to have the card of the person who ordered it. When he returned he didn't give me a receipt at first. I had to ask for the invoice. Please don't order fruit from this establishment the customer service is horrible and I'm sure you will not love the loud music coming from behind the doors. I had a last minute order for a friend of mine and I needed something quick. It was her birthday and I wanted to get her a cake. I found out about edible arrangements from a friend but wasn't sure if I wanted to get her something flower like. I checked out the website and saw this really nice cake like arrangement. I asked this guy named Clint if he could make the arrangement in the next hour. He said that they were really backed up and may not be finished until two hours. I couldn't think of anything else to get her so I decided to just risk it. I left to grab lunch waiting for the arrangement and then half an hour later I got a phone call from Clint that the cake arrangement was finished ready for pick up! I was very happy that I was able to have time to give my friend the arrangement in time for the party. On top of that, the arrangement was so pretty and very delicious! The strawberries were just a little tart but the chocolate definitely balanced it out. This place is a must and make sure to ask for Clint, great customer service and a very big sense of humor!
