Where do I even begin with Edible!?! I think my body is about 50% Edible at this point. It's hands down our favorite dessert place on O'ahu! From their cookie dough to their cookies (try their bag of mini cookies) to their cookie dough milkshakes to their sundaes and beyond......everything here is so delicious. The parking situation is a refreshing contrast to most other places on O'ahu, as they have a free lot out front and an overflow lot beneath as well (it can get busy but we've never had an issue finding a spot). This is a quick grab and go spot, and we typically end up eating our treats at one of the small tables out front or in the car before we get anywhere else hahaha. The owners are the nicest people - Megan and Jackie have worked so hard to bring their dream to life, and their dedication to the business shows. Here in Hawaii on vaca, wanted some really good cookies. I was given other places to try, but found this place on Yelp and decided to check them out first. Edible is located in the McCully Shopping Center bottom floor next to the nail salon. I think it took over the snow ice place. Unfortunately, I just wasn't a fan of Edible. I do like cookie dough but I think it was just overly sweet for me and the texture was kind of odd. I was thankful though I got a free scoop for my birthday (just need to show your ID). I was able to choose 2 flavors so I got the Cookie Monster and a banana flavored one.. forget what it was called. My fiancé and friends got one too and were not a fan. This business just opened up so I figured I should give it a try! They are known for their edible cookie dough and unique cookie flavors. My boyfriend and I went around 10pm on a Saturday (I love that it doesn't close early). They only allow 4 people inside of the place for safety and there are social distancing stickers on the floor. When you enter, the menu is on the right wall and the cookie dough is laid out just like how a regular ice cream shop is. Since we went late, we didn't get to try the unique cookie flavors we wanted but we did get cookie dough! The cookie dough wasn't chilled, it was more of a room temperature. We got a cup which can hold up to 4 flavors. We decided to choose the only 4 flavors available: Ube Haupia, Party Animal, Matcha Oreo, and Cookie Monster. Out of all the 4, my favorite is the Party Animal which is just cookie dough and sprinkles! The Ube surprised me because it wasn't overly sweet. The matcha had such a strong flavor. The Cookie Monster was my least favorite because the cookies (I believe it was Oreos inside) was a little stale. I would recommend that you try cookie dough only if you have a sweet tooth. It's very sweet so it might not be for everyone. We also bought a bag of cookies, and I didn't enjoy it as much. The bag was quite oily, and the cookies itself was hard on the outside and chewy in the inside. I thought they were cute and small because you could just pop one in your mouth. We had a family of 5 and that wasn't a problem though. 5) No restrooms So this cute place popped up on my yelp and I live on Yelp so I had to go try it. It took a bit to find since the shopping center was so big but once we saw it you could tell. It's a trendy set up with one long selling counter and lots of bright colors. Once you walk in, the smell is just heavenly. Let yourself soak that in and just enjoy those amazing aromas! On the very right, they have a great selection of cooked cookies. Each one is huge and we couldn't decide so we got 6 out of 7 of them. They are crispy but soft making it such a nice tactile experience. Faves for us were the matcha Oreo and the snickerdoodle! In the middle is the "ice cream" area with their cookie dough bar. Our eyes were drawn immediately to the purple ube haupia flavor and the blue Cookie Monster. They also had a bright red seasonal flavor - peppermint bark. They have 3 sizes - one scoop/2 flavors in the cute takeout container, two scoops/4 flavors in a tub, and a sample size boat. The kids all opted for party animal which is filled with sprinkles, and Cookie Monster. Each one got a topping, sprinkles of course! It's funny because I really thought they were getting ice cream so when the kiddies kept saying it was warm ice cream it didn't register. Silly mom! Anyway, Ube was for sure my fave! The service is super friendly, helpful, and quick. They made it a fun experience and the kids all had a great time. We even took home the leftovers and yes, I baked them don't like to waste. We got 6 extra awesome cookies from it! The only negative I would note is that each cookie dough container came with a paper fortune in it (like the ones in fortune cookies) but since it was in the sticky dough it's hard to see. Dropped by after seeing they made #62 out of 100 for best chocolate cookie on Yelp nationwide. I wanted to be the judge of this I love cookies. I am a cookie corner stan through and through. We walked in and the store was completely empty and no one was at the front counter but after they heard the door close he came out. I see what others are saying about the ambiance being off, it's very sterile and plain inside and I think for such a fun concept they should work more on making the space feel fun and more exciting. They should have a disco ball or some fun music playing just something to be exciting about from the inside. The outside does not explain what is inside either so maybe more obvious decor would help people understand the place better. As for the cookies I was quite shocked on the price it was $17 for a cup of mini chocolate chip cookies and one big GOAT cookie (chocolate chip walnut). It was very pricy considering at crumbl I could get a 6 pack for almost that price. Now all that aside the cookies are very good. Chewy and crispy on the outside. I enjoyed them. I think I liked the larger cookie better than the mini cookies, the minis seemed a bit oily and thin. I definitely suggest grabbing the big cookies they're very big and a nice sweet treat. It's on the bottom corner that is on the Pumehana St side. There is parking in the lot or you can park in the garage. This place can be busy and street parking is rarely available. This store took over the old Snow Factory. Now with COVID, they only allow 4 people inside. It's clean and lots of selections. The staff wear masks and gloves. Of course there are no places to sit but it's ok. They sell different flavors of cookie dough and bakery items such as cookies. These aren't your typical small cookies...they are HUGE!!!!! I wanted to try their brûlée cookie but they were out...something about limited time. But I hope they bring it back because I love brûlée! The first time I tried this place, I had their salted caramel. It was great but this time, again...it was only for a certain period. This time, I tried their matcha Oreo and chocolate chip. Luckily, the woman behind me in line kept me motivated by telling me that she had initially gotten one cookie and was already on her way home when she took a bit and turned right back around to buy a few dozen more. I was excited because they finally have a cookie dough place on island. Edible is located in McCully shopping center in the corner by Taco Bell in Snow Factory's old location. I ordered the cup which gives you 4 choices of cookie dough flavors. I tried the cookie monster, party animal, matcha oreo, and ube haupia. My favorite was the cookie monster and ube haupia. The cookie dough almost reminded me of pillsbury cookie dough but slightly different. The cookie monster is essentially cookie dough with oreo bits mixed in. The ube haupia had little chunks of ube in it. The party animal is essentially cookie dough with a ton of sprinkles mixed in. My least favorite flavor was the matcha oreo because the bitterness of the matcha which chunks of oreo was a bit overpowering. What disappointed me was that they charge 50 cents for toppings when they only give two pieces of the topping you pick. I got animal cookies and my friend got pocky sticks which we only had 2 pieces each. On top of that, if you buy a topping, they don't include the cone shaped like a fortune cookie. My friend who didn't order any toppings got the cone topping so I figured it would be complimentary. I was wondering why don't they include it for customers who pay for "extra" toppings. Overall, the cookie dough was good but from price point wise I'm still on the fence. My Mom (Kelly.G) and I recently visited "Edible" and it was well worth the visit. My mom and I ordered two of there cookie bags which are their mini cookies that they bake fresh everyday and they were AMAZING and extremely addictive. We also got two of their larger cookies and the soft serve sundae they had which also comes with their edible cookie dough. Cookies were completely sold out so me and my bf got the cookie dough sundae -2 small scoops of cookie dough on soft serve with some m&ms. We were already there so we might as well get dessert. At first glance, it looks ok but the soft serve didn't have any vanilla flavor just sweet. Definitely not worth $8 each in addition to tax and tip (we didn't even eat inside). You could get better soft serve at McDonald or Costco. I felt like they should have just closed the shop early or they could have baked more cookies. Woah, an edible cookie dough shop! The concept itself seemed pretty cool, so I had to try it ASAP. It's located in McCully Shopping Center where the old Snow Factory used to be. It doesn't have a glowing sign outside the shop but when you look in, you can see the big 'Edible' sign. Parking on the ground floor is a disaster especially at night but there's a small lot underground. The entrance is near the shop itself. My friend and I both got the two scoop cookie dough. We accidentally both got the same flavors (ube haupia and matcha oreo). Whoops. These two flavors sounded sooooo good. A fortune cookie was first thrown into our little container that was a dark purplish color. Next, our two cookie dough flavors were assembled like an ice cream scoop and combined together prettily. Then our haupia was put on top of the scoop (thought it was an ube and haupia mixture, guess it was just ube). At first glance, I thought the dessert was tiny but as I began eating it, I can feel how dense and filling the cookie dough was. The matcha oreo was on the sweeter side, and I can definitely taste the matcha in it. The ube was alright. I could barely taste the ube, but it was creamy and not as sweet as the matcha oreo. The fortune cookie was actually really good; not too sweet. My fortune was 'Treat yo self' LOL. My friend got a free topping fortune. Honestly, the cookie dough was too sweet to my liking. I could only take a few small bites before pushing it aside for later... in which I decided to try bake it in my convection oven! I baked it for ~15 mins at 375 degrees, and it came out kind of strange (might need to bake longer) but definitely less sweet as a cookie. Yummy! We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was not crowded. The staff was friendly and suggested popular items. I got a Cookie Monster and Biscoff cookie dough and my friend got a Uber and Cookie Monster. The Cookie Monster was good, but I did wish it had more Oreo flavor. Their Biscoff was my favorite! It tasted like the cookie and had crushed up Biscoff cookies in the dough! Their freshly baked cookies are amazing! Crunchy on the outside and gooey and chewy on the inside. My kind of cookie. Not into cookie dough so no surprise that I didn't like theirs very much. My favorite cookies of theirs have been the sea salt caramel Biscoff, white chocolate macadamia, and the PB and J cookie. Caramel Sea Salt Coffee--I'm a big fan of coffee flavors and coffee in general, so this was a must-have. The coffee flavor came through and the salty-sweet mixture was not overpowering. This one was the least solid of the three. I thought this would have been my favorite, but it was not! Ube Haupia--this might have been my favorite one. It wasn't overly sweet and had a nice creamy consistency. I had to consciously stop myself from eating it so I could save some until the end. Matcha Oreo--the flavor was so good. It almost seemed like a cake-y consistency. A strong matcha flavor and the Oreo added a nice texture. Everything was topped with a cute fortune cookie and I added walnuts and chocolate chips. Finally, the cookie had just gone in the oven. Although this meant I had to wait 10 minutes, it was also nice and fresh! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Super good.
