Another great evening at Sushi and Bowls. We were greeted immediately and one of the servers smiled, asking us how we have been. The restaurant was bright, still quite since it was early. We started off with the Vegetable Tempura, Denver Roll, Castle Pines Roll, Lemon Roll, and Yellowtail Roll. Everything was fresh and delicious. The servers were very attentive as usual.

    Spicy California roll

Our new favorite sushi spot near castle rock. We got the spicy California roll, gyoza, tiger roll and Vegas roll. Highly recommend the tiger and Vegas! It was delicious! Our server was great! Super friendly and took care of us! We will be back again soon

Ok second review, very glad I came back! I'm writing this on 8/6 at noon as I came in for lunch. I had been reading some forums about keeping castle pines restaurants going by supporting as much as possible. Ordered miso soup, two small rolls and a rainbow roll. The value has improved considerably here and the service was absolutely impeccable. Didn't catch the server's name but she was absolutely on point. Atmosphere, ambiance, etc were very inviting and this place has won me over. Nice work!

Lemon Roll and the Colorado Roll. Both delicious!

Great service and really good food. Quiet restaurant, clean and friendly staff. Sushi is good, tempura dishes, and much more.

This could be our next regular spot for sushi! We liked the California sushi roll and the crunchy Korean bowl. Quantity for the bowl was very good. Got some tempura cheesecake for dessert, it was okay. This place is slightly on the expensive side. Service was alright. Will come back!

My cousin the owner of Ziggi's next door recommended this place as a fave sushi spot. We went for dinner last night and it was amazing! Parking was easy at that time but I'm sure if it's just you can easily park in the bigger lot right there next to the little section. We had the lemon roll and the castle pines roll. Absolutely delicious and very unique. I've never had anything like the lemon roll! We ordered the crunch Korean chicken which was also fantastic! I was pleasantly impressed and would definitely go back. We also ordered two desserts. They were out of one we had ordered so they made us something special that was off menu and that was some awesome customer service. I sadly don't have pics of the dessert because we got too excited. Try them all though, if you have the chance.

Our regular Castle Rock sushi spot was closed, so we ventured up the road some and tried Sushi & Bowls. It took a few mins to be greeted, but service was extremely friendly. Celebrating their six-month anniversary, we enjoyed our complimentary order of edamame. I had the beef bulgogi, which was a fairly large bowl with good flavor. I can't say it was the most tender beef I've ever had, and a few pieces were downright chewy. Miso soup was good, but I was surprised it didn't have the little tofu cubes that typically accompany a bowl. My daughter tried three different rolls...the Philly, Las Vegas, and California. She thought they were good, but she didn't rave about them like she typically does. I tried a piece of the Philly, and I thought it was quite good. All in all, not bad. We'd probably go back, but we'd also check for other options first.

Very fresh but pricey! We have little to no nice restaurants in Castle Pines so we frequently do dine in or carry out.

Came here a while ago, so I have no idea what I ordered, but it was good. Solid place between Denver and Castle Rock.

Great sushi in a small spot! Castle Pines Roll is the favorite. They also have green tea ice cream to go with their Kruffle

However, within a few minutes of placing the order I received a call, wanting to confirm which location I had wanted to place the order through. I had accidentally chosen the wrong location so they canceled my order and had me place it again online. They called the other individual I was with who also placed an order. This must happen pretty often if they're calling every single person that places an online order and I will say that I did not notice that I picked the wrong location when I placed the order. So I was grateful that they called to confirm. The order was ready when we arrive to the location and everything was accurate. I started with edamame. And I will say it is pretty standard edamame. I also wanted to try a California roll. It was really fresh and I would definitely order one again. My favorite of the appetizers was that Gyoza. Those were so good. I always order them with Ramen in Kansas City but these knocked any of those out of the park. For Ramen, I went with a classic tonkatsu. The menu description said that it came with corn and bok choy, but I was missing both of those items. The Ramen itself was really good. The broth was super rich and they gave you a lot. There were also a lot of Ramen noodles. And I did like the addition of the bamboo shoots. The marinated egg was fantastic. This classic was so tasty. If I lived in the area, I would definitely visit pretty often. There's so many different menu items that looked so good and I'm sure the other Ramen varieties are fantastic as well.

Then a big piping bowl of tonkatsu ramen with pork belly, Hammurabi egg and delicious broth. Our last dish was the sushi regular which ad a nice adornment of 8 slices of sashimi and 8 pieces of California roll. A lot on this plate!

Let me first…read moresay that the service was extremely friendly and I liked it a lot, which makes me feel bad about what I'm about to say. Please note that I tried things that other people have mentioned in their reviews as things they liked. I had the crunchy tuna appetizer, which was essentially several golf ball sized lumps of rice deep fried, with a tiny amount of tuna and I think avocado on top. It probably should have been called the crunchy rice appetizer, and really was not, to me, worth $14. Next up was the Joker roll, which I believe is mentioned by more than one person as their favorite thing here. If you like pepper, it's the roll for you. I have never had such a peppery sushi roll in my life and I did not like it. My final roll was the mango roll. Now I know what mangoes are and I knew what I was getting, so I can't really blame the restaurant for the fact that I guess I've learned I'm not a big fan of sushi rolls with fruit on them. It was well made for what it was, just not my particular favorite. The miso soup was lovely. The restaurant was nice and clean and as I have said, the service was impeccable, friendly, really everything you would want. Which is all the more reason I was disappointed that the food did not ring a bell with me. If you go to this restaurant, I would suggest you avoid the things I've mentioned and perhaps try some others. You may have better luck than I did, and you will be served well in the process.
