I did tell him I was stuck between 55% windshield and 15% all around or go with 35% windshield and 5% all around. I came back to check the car out after it was finished, I am very happy with the 55% windshield and 15% all around as that is already dark enough for privacy. For someone like me that drive a lot and drive at night time a lot - I will consider this a gray area for driving at night time. If I went with 35% windshield and 5% all around - I don't think i'd be as happy lol. That would be too dangerous at night time driving. I also got the head lights PPF (light smoke). Day one, due to moisture was scary to drive at night time. After day one was over, it looked phenomenal from the inside out... I was debating on changing the PPF head lights out for clear on day one, now that I am used to it and the moisture disappeared, I can see just fine at day and night. Only thing I can say about the cons, I noticed a little bit of glue left over on the side window. Besides that, they did a very good job and Leo don't mess around about his business, he is serious about getting the job done right.

He booked me for the next morning and by the end of the day I was able to pick up my ride. He runs a clean cool looking shop. The prices were very reasonable and they did great work! They quoted me way under anyone else that I had called prior to going with them. I will recommend A-1 Muffler Express to all of my friends and family. They all make you feel that you're part of the family. They offered me coffee and cold water while I waited for my car to be done. One thing to remember, they are experts in mufflers, exhaust systems, and not any other type of work. But it never hurts to ask if they can do it for you!

Our experience with EDO PERFORMANCE cost us $15,000 and counting! My Son is a United States Marine and he took our 2016 Subaru Sti to edo and Edwin Tang in August of 2016 for a high performance motor upgrade...The car was running perfect when he took it to edo! After they did the upgrade and built the motor it had a misfire which was not there before they did the rebuild! Mr Tang assume it was a bad injector and tuned it according to that assumption making the injector pump more fuel....after 7000 miles of driving and countless calls to edo with the motor not being rite the motor blows up! A valve falls out of the head and destroyed the motor! Mr Tang say that a bad injector and a misfire caused the failure..... which is ridiculous!!!! misfires and injectors don't make valves fall out! Come to find out a weak and failing valve spring had broke and caused the the valve to drop! The weak valve spring is what was causing the misfire all along and edo failed to diagnose the problem correctly! after 45 days of Edwin Tang trying to get out of fixing it they agreed to rebuild with the manufacture of the Valve Spring paying for half of the$15,000 rebuild and edo did the rest of it! it took them 90 days total to rebuild car while my son had no transportation! with not one i'm sorry or any admission of there error or no loaner car provided! Part of the problem was clearly builder error!!!.Now on Feb 2 2017 we finally get our car back and 300 miles into the 2nd motor build still in the break in procedure the motor fails again due to a timing belt tensioner and it had to towed again back to edo! Builder error again! Edwin Tang said it was caused caused because we put new Perrin motor mounts on the car!! Ridiculous and Perrin automotive stated that! Again Edwin Tang trying to lay the failure on us instead of where the blame lies! Builder error!! after two weeks we got car back again! So at the 1st oil change of the break in at 500 miles the oil from the motor is full of metal.... Edwin Tang is notified of this by my son was told to keep driving and Breaking it in...so he did! ok 2nd oil change at 1000 miles on Break in again excessive metal in oil Edwin Tang notified again! He told my son keep driving and breaking in! so he did! Ok 300 miles more on break in motor fails overheats fluids running out! Car towed again! So now the car is Broke down in driveway and Edwin Tang say he will send a radiator so we can put in and Bring to him and he Diagnose the Problem!! Due to the fact that in 8 months edo has failed too build a motor correctly twice and we have had to tow 3 times and for 5 months of the 8 months since we took our car to edo it has been in there shop for 5 months total! We decided to get a second opinion! Now we have gotten a second opinion from a very reputable motor builder and we are informed that the motor is no good due too all the metal in the oil and has to be completely rebuilt and and complete new Block! We informed Edwin Tang and EDO performance they will not respond to emails or messages or contact us! WE PAYED $15,000 FOR NOTHING JUST A HUNK OF METAL AND NOW WE HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER SHOP TO DO WHAT EDO COULD NOT!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO EDO PERFORMANCE! unless you have a lot of money to throw away and like to walk! if they will do this to one of our soldiers they will do too anyone! My son put his life on the line everyday to earn the money for this Motor Build and Edo performance and Edwin Tang took it from him for nothing in return but a junk motor due to there shady business practices and lack of experience building motors! I highly highly recommend these guys. The amount of flexibility they worked out for me is not easy to find anywhere els not to mention the pure honestly these guys had with me is nowhere to be found at other shops. I called and booked a tune and had to cancel multiple times for a month and a half because of work and Nathaniel understood completely and worked out what he could. After all this time I finally get my car in and they out did them selfs not only on the tune but parts that needed to be fix. Nathanael and other employees called me every step of the way and sent me pictures of the work that was done. I asked about certain parts and different tunes and they told me what could hurt my car in the long run and really guided me to make the perfect choice. Came in for some repairs/maintenance on my 06 STi and their facility is amazing. They got me in early and were very helpful. I explained my situation and what needed to be done, they got right on it! I was expecting to be called by the end of the day, but was done sooner than I exoected, which is always nice. Once they called me to come pick it up they were nice enough to notify me one part of the maintenance wasn't necessary and that they would inspect my car in 2 more weeks to figure out the real issue. These guys could have just fixed what I told them to and collected their money, but they truly care about the customer and most importantly the car! I highly recommend this place for anything from basic repairs/maintenance to upgrades. read more

I went to EDO to originally have my timing belt changed and after dropping my car off they notified me that there was more crucial work that needed to be done and that some other things were not done properly to my engine in the past. I was to have my timing belt replaced originally and it turned out that my engines timing was actually completely reversed! They replaced my water pump and timing belt and re-timed my engine! The car ended up running very smoothly and felt a million times better to drive than before. They don't normally serve my type of car and had never worked on one before but they accepted the project and completed everything in a very timely manner. This was a 1990 Isuzu Impulse. read more

EDO is a high performance when it comes to any car. I can say that because they give me an excellent service on my '09 Subaru wrx. Even the problem of breakage around spot weld and squaeky pedal is so complicated and very difficult to fix, they do all their best to fix my car. I didn't have anything to fear, ordering on a Wednesday and receiving at my door on the Friday. First class service from start to finish. Hi, Purchased the Tomioka bushes for my Subaru Legacy GT 2003 JDM twin scroll turbo a couple of weeks ago. Just had them fitted and would like say what an improvement over the stock OEM control arm bushes, the steering feels more precise and direct, no more steering wonder at speed and no undue harshness to ride comfort. My stock OEM bushes were not damaged or split just wanted the upgrade for future trouble free motoring. Insurance was covering, so price really wasn't an issue dor me. They aren't cheap, but they do amazing work. Turn around time was laid out in front of me, and they met the goal. It was a LONG process (read 1.5 months); if I didn't have a provided rental it may have affected my rating, but I did have one. Everything with the insurance process, getting me to/from the rental location, communication with me and the adjustor, and workmanship were all top notch. Ran into some issues on first attempt at a pick up, but they rectified it with fixing the issue, as well as transportation and delivery to the Irvine location. I then had wheels installed at the performance shop in Irvine. Again, it wasn't cheap, but they met all expectations. Shout out to Issa, Luis, Josh and all the of the SSR team that worked on my vehicle. If owners of high end luxury cars and supercars trust SSR, you should to.
