The service from EEJ is excellent. I called to have my stove, dishwasher and refrigerator serviced. There was no answer so I decided to try another place. Before I could dial, Mickey called back and took my information and scheduled me even though I didn't leave a message. I LOVE that!! I didn't have an emergency so he came the next week. He is here now right on time fixing the appliances and he is excellent. My dishwasher and refrigerator are now fixed (and they are old). Although my oven can't be repaired because they no longer make the replacement parts (I keep my stuff F O R E V E R!), he looked on Ebay to see if there was a used part available. There weren't any but he gave me the model and part number and I will check around to see if I can find one! His prices are very reasonable and he is great about explaining everything he does step by step. He also gave me good tips on appliances that are most reliable when I finally do have to replace mine. Glad I found this place on Yelp! Owner came out, was very professional yet friendly, and explained things clearly. Originally contacted him via Yelp and got an initial diagnosis and quote that way. Worth noting: having him do on-site diagnostic is $60, but it gets applied to the repair. The part he had on him wasn't quite the same as what we needed, but he was able to find a non-OEM replacement at the same price he'd quoted us in a timely manner. The total cost of repair (magentron on a 10 y.o. microwave) was about half the cost of replacing with a comparable microwave, all things considered. My only complaint is a minor one, in that he wasn't able to come by the day we had originally scheduled (it was at the end of the day), but he called to let us know and work out a new time (the morning of the following day). I appreciated not being left hanging, and he was very responsive both via Yelp and text. Overall, great experience, and very refreshing compared to other appliance repair calls made elsewhere in the past. Pro tip: Pay cash if you can. read more

Had a finicky gas burner and the oven light had burnt out (and I couldn't open the cover for the light). When I called, he provided a time when he would come and he arrived at that time. After looking at it, he told me that the burner needed cleaning and gave me a price (which he stuck to). The price was quite reasonable - I have had appliance repairs before, and they are usually quite expensive. He told me he had difficulty removing the cover on the oven light and asked if he could apply some force and asked if I was okay if the cover broke because the light could be replaced and would function just fine without the cover. I appreciated that he warned me ahead of time and discussed the ramifications. The final invoice was exactly what he had quoted me. One of the best experiences I have had with appliance repair.
