As part of selling my current home, I needed to address a concern raised by the buyer's home inspector. After a quick search via Yelp, I made contact with The team at Efficient Comfort. After a quick exchange, we were able to set an initial technician visit to determine what was causing the leakage seen within my HVAC. The next day, Chuck (HVAC tech) came onsite and within about 20 min determined that a gasket had failed. After looking at the manufacturing date of the unit, Chuck suggested we might be able to get the part covered under warranty based on my purchase / move in date. Working with the Efficient Comfort office manager, we were able to indeed get the part free of charge from the manufacturer. That saved me $500. After the part arrived, Chuck came yesterday, replaced it, and the HVAC is ready for its next owner. I will definitely have Efficient Comfort take care of my future HVAC needs should they arise. This is a great company! Had my furnace serviced two years ago and they were prompt, kind and knowledgable. Let me know I may want to start saving for a new furnace as mine was over 20 years old. No pressuring to buy one then or from them. Dan was great to work with. Fast forward to this year. A courtesy call asking if I'd like to schedule a furnace service for this year. I had totally forgotten about doing this the year before. Dan came out again and as the previous time was great to work with. Now my furnace was pushing 25 years old and he suggested I start thinking seriously about a new one. No pressure at all. He gave me two straightforward quotes and said to let him know if I had any questions. I decided to go ahead and replace the old furnace with a high efficiency one. Great experience. Front office folks were quick to get us scheduled, text and email updates to let us know when our technician was on his way. Also sent someone to look at our older R-22 refrigerant system vs. immediately trying to sell us on a $15K+ replacement without having ever seen it. Our tech Jim was the best part. Very friendly, said hi to the cat, put on shoe covers coming into the house without even being asked, and (most importantly) fixed our problem quickly and effectively. Clearly knows his stuff. Jim also explained to us what we can do to help extend the life of our system but advised us to start thinking about replacement in the next few years. I can't recommend Efficient Comfort enough. Last summer in the midst of insane Colorado heat, our HVAC unit died and we were so stressed out about it. Efficient Comfort was so understanding and accommodating. They first came to the house and initially did a band-aid fix for us so we wouldn't be dying of heat. And then ran through our replacement options--which they had many of--to fit into different budgets. Their financing options were excellent as well and allowed us to get a brand new unit that has been fantastic. The communication, installation and maintenance since has been nothing short of amazing. This is not a big behemoth company where you are just a number--I've talked with the owner and we have the same techs come each time. My 20+ yo A/C died last summer. After researching with coworkers and neighbors, I sought out bids. Which came in incredibly high. Then I called EC. Josh came out and looked at the unit. He did point out its age, and gave me a reasonable quote to replace it and my similarly-aged furnace. He also pointed out he could get it running again for $250. No other company said it was fixable. He also did a much more thorough look at my home and ductwork before creating the bid than the other contractors did, and determined that my existing system was too large for the ductwork. He was honest and knowledgeable. I opted for the fix. Fast-forward to this summer's heat wave, when the thing finally gave up the ghost. Prices have gone up b/c of pandemic supply issues, but I still feel EC gave me a reasonable price. The installers were friendly and professional. They even shop-vac'd my basement when finished. Free advice: if you know you've got an old system, don't wait for it to die to replace it! I felt lucky to get a time slot in just over a week. Do get a bid from EC; I can't recommend them enough. One year part and labor warranty. 1.00 $384.00 $384.00 First the bill says he replace the flame sensor, then there is a charge for cleaning it. Which is it. Total labor of 2 hours. I called at 3:00PM on a weekday and they were able to come out within a few hours even though it wasn't an emergency. They were the 3rd AC repair company I had called in 6 weeks to come out for the same issue but I wish they would've been the 1st! We have had an issue with our AC freezing up and the other two companies couldn't figure it out with multiple trips. From the time I contacted them to the completed service, I had nothing but a great experience. Chuck, the technician was at my home within 24 hours after me calling the company. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything he was doing and what needed to be repaired. He didn't try to upsell anything. He wanted to fix my current unit rather than saying "it's too old; you need a new one." The parts were ordered on site and, as promised, he returned the next morning to fix the A/C. He had the unit up and running within 20 minutes. He was also very candid about the age of my furnace and my fan. He was methodical with the job and took photos for their records to have a clear picture of what to expect with the lifespan of the unit. Had EC resolve a furnace issue in Feb. Signed up for their maintenance program which was very reasonable. Fast forward to June, one of our AC units was out during the height of people getting AC issues sorted. With the maintenance plan, we were prioritized, diagnosed and resolved in less than 24 hrs. Rather than gathering all of the information about the job to determine whether or not they could actually service my heating system, this organization chose to allow me to make appointment, waste a paid day off, and then waited until 3 hours into the allocated appointment window to tell me that they were actually not able to work on my system. The technician actually arrived in my building parking lot and called me from his vehicle to say that he couldn't assist me, rather than undertake the arduous task of climbing a whopping two sets of stairs to actually see my unit and explain why he could not assist me. When I called the office to explain the staff was defensive as opposed to apologetic and frankly a bit condescending. Would not recommend. read more

We had our furnace cleaned in autumn by another company that did a terrible job, and since then, our furnace was no longer working. It has been freezing in the house! We returned to Colorado after spending the winter months in Las Vegas. My thermostat has Wi-Fi and I regularly monitor the performance of my HVAC system through the Honeywell app on my phone. There didn't appear to be any problems while we were gone or initially on our return but after being back 5 days we began to notice an unusual noise coming from the furnace. After some limited evaluation by me, an admitted amateur, I decided to get on Yelp and find a good HVAC company. Once again Yelp did a great job thanks to all you reviewers who take the time to post your ratings and reviews. I used the Efficient Comfort website to request an appointment since it was after hours on a Sunday. In a very short time I received an email telling me they could send a service tech to my home the next day, Monday. I replied that would be fine but it wasn't an emergency. Well 12 hours later it was an emergency. We woke up to a cold house and a non functional furnace (an 8 year old Lennox). I called Efficient Comfort and they scheduled an appointment for 10am-12pm. Wes arrived before 11:00 and was able to diagnose my problem. The repair required an OEM inducer motor assembly and a trip to the Lennox supplier if I wanted it repaired today, which I did. The run capacitor was also dying so I decided to have it replaced at the same time. After Wes returned and replaced the defective parts my furnace started running perfectly. Wes and Efficient Comfort were timely, knowledgeable, professional and great to deal with. I will call them for any repairs I require including an annual system inspection/service. Found them on Yelp. Thank you Yelp. Our heating unit was not working and they were here very quickly. They did a temporary fix and replaced our heating unit and water heater the following week . Their install was completed in one day. Everyone one we dealt with was very knowledgeable and instantly responsive. They wore shoe coverings and masks all day and were very respectful of our home. When they were done the area was as clean as when they arrived. We will sign up for their semi-annual service agreement as well. read more

Our air conditioner stopped working at the beginning of the summer season. We reached out to a few vendors and originally selected a different vendor who did not show or return our calls and emails for the scheduled appointment. When we reached back out to Efficient Comfort they were very accommodating in scheduling an appointment before the next heat-wave. The service was prompt, diagnosed quickly, and repaired efficiently. It has been almost a month since the repairs were completed and we have not had any further issues. Further, the costs were reasonable. We will definitely be looking to use Efficient Comfort for our future maintenance and repairs. Update: So a funny situation happened today.
