If you are a fan of breakfast sandwich, you need to try this place. A stop n go type of establishment (inside a convenient store), you can preorder ahead of time online (no sitting is available). A big sandwiches with a balance protein, cheese, green on a soft buns.

Camp Fire Bacon, chorizo, ham, sausage, fluffy egg, pepper jack, garlic aioli & hot honey on a toasted roll.
    Jeff L.

The Camp Fire is a serious breakfast sandwich. Bacon, chorizo, ham, sausage, fluffy egg, pepper jack, peppers, garlic aioli, and hot honey all come together on a soft toasted roll. The sweet heat from the hot honey balances the savory meats perfectly. Messy, over-the-top, and an incredible value.

Fire breakfast Sammy's! It's fun that it is just in the middle of a little C store, no seating so it's just grab and go but the sandwiches are super good and the staff was super nice. I love the sandwich bags that they put them in as well. I got the cry'n eggy and personally I like it spicier so I may add chili crunch or something to it next time too. The egg was perfect, the buns are soft and crispy, I like how they do all the meat - it's all chopped and layered on instead of 2 big slices of bacon or ham, etc. They also have gluten free buns which was a huge selling point! Definitely gonna be back for more!

Finally got around to trying this hyped up breakfast sandwich Happy to report that Cry'nEggy was pretty tasty I could have personally used more spice but nothing that hot sauce couldn't fix Loived the brioche bun and all the fillings Will try another flavor sandwich next time *delivery review only

Egg sandwich with egg, turkey sausage, cheddar cheese and signature sauce.

First time trying egg on roll. Created my own sandwich. It was delicious! Next time I'd get sauce on the side but if you're a sauce person you're in luck! I got the turkey sausage and it comes diced up and it was awesome! Also got their signature sauce and cheddar cheese. Definitely will go back!

Man the yelpies gave me the scoop on this being a hot spot to go to but unfortunately I am not a fan. Dope logo, killing it on the packaging, the marketing and the decor inside is a total vibe but unfortunately the cry'n baby did not match the same energy. I was shocked to take a cold sandwich out of the packaging, bacon was thin and cold cheese was cold and not melted, finally after 3 bites I got to the center of the sandwich to like warm egg. When I see a spot like this I'm thinking thick cut bacon, steaming hot flavorful sandwich and this wasn't it, sorry.

Best egg sandwich in town and for a good price! There are a variety of options or build your own. It's made fresh. You can order ahead which helps with a busy line on the weekend. It's in a convenience store so no seating really inside or out. But great for on the go!

Service boom. Egg on a roll 3/10....... I think this was totally overrated. However I got the cryn bun Bacon not cooked all the way I see potential.

I'm incredibly picky about my breakfast sandwiches, coming from NY I find Minnesotans always seem to take their eye off the ball when it comes to what makes a breakfast sandwich special. While Egg on a Roll definitely has a different take than the deli bacon egg and cheese I grew up with, they absolutely get what you want from an egg sandwich: Quick, Easy, Delicious. Nested in a convenience store (adding to the convinience), Egg on a Roll has an effecient screen ordering system that is simple and easy to use. From there, you order your sandwich, wait a few minutes, and get your food and leave. Exactly what I want before doing a grocery run or a weekend walk by the river. And the sandwiches are absolutely delicious, with fluffy eggs, great add ons and buttery brioche buns. Highly recommend stopping in and getting a sandwich, I know I'll be back regularly.

I tell everyone I know to come here. First off, I love the little grocery store it's in! They have some fun things that I don't see other places. Nice to browse while you wait. Secondly, these sandwiches are so so sos so so so delicious. They are very messy though so I'd recommend not eating while you sit in the car unless you have a lot of napkins or wet wipes lol. My boyfriend and I like to get sandwiches here and then eat them at backstory while getting coffee! The owners of this place are very kind and they remembered us on only our second visit! They seem super cool and I love to support them! I would really recommend this place to others. If you're thinking about it, GO.

Finally got around to trying out Egg on a Roll since I don't normally eat breakfast. They did a great job on the old bagel shop really leaning into the "bougie bodega" vibe. It's super clean with some basic snacks, groceries, and a pull-tab counter in the corner. Picked up a to-go order and the staff was super nice. Nice and quick with a couple folks behind me in line. No pictures of the sandwich, but it's enormous. While huge, it's surprisingly light and not something you'll immediately regret. Light, airy brioche bun was nicely toasted and the souflee eggs were bouncy but not overcooked. Nice punchy aioli. Probably one of my top breakfast sandwiches. The value is great for what you get.

I tell you what, I've had some VERY delicious sandwiches here. It is in the back of 5th Avenue Market... yes, inside the market. Just go on inside that market and head to the back, you can't miss it. You order on a tablet, then linger in the market's grocery aisles, awkwardly examining the microwavable entrees and condiment jars until they let you know your order is ready. Or you can order online and just come grab it when it's ready! I should probably do it that way next time. These are egg sandwiches, that's what their whole thing is. Super good ingredients every time, with a number of sauces that give everything a nice tang. I like their chorizo, it's super flavorful. I wouldn't mind if they had some different cheese choices. They are open from 7:30 to 3:30 on Monday through Saturday. Those are the hours when you can come in and have very very yummy breakfast sandwiches that are affordable and have a great variety of combinations that are invariably awesome.

MUST TRY. A go to that I always treat my visiting guests to! HIGHLY recommend pre-ordering online, especially if it's a Saturday, as they often get a line! You can customize your own sandwiches in a ton of ways! The topping choices are delicious and unique! The staff is so friendly. They stick to just making what they're good at (breakfast Sammies!) and I fully respect it! Don't get lost trying to find it - it's in the back of the 5th Ave Market on 5th Ave in North Loop! Not a lot of seating - plan on taking out, doing a Lil picnic, or sitting right outside the building on the ledges. If you want a cheaper option, do less customizing! Classic is still tasty, and they're filling!! My go to: Classic egg, brioche bun, cheddar cheese, bacon, roasted tomatoes, arugula, extra black pepper ($8)
