Food was good but not great, it was nicely presented but something missing. All looks but no personality. Decor was nice, modern, and bright. Bowl w/chopped kale, mushroom, shallots, cheese and egg. You get to pick a side, I got fruit. There was no seasoning in the bowl not even in the hash brown. French toast looked gorgeous w/ toasted pecans, caramelized bananas, cone of mascarpone, thick brioche bread, lacked flavor in the French toast. You were searching for cinnamon, vanilla. Even dousing w/syrup but it was plain. Donuts nicely presented, fresh out of fryer and cannoli cream and chocolate chips in the middle the donut left grease on the plate and when slicing it you can see donut soaked in a layer oil. The donut was bit dense. You can get better donuts at a local donut place. If they focus on seasoning the food more and making lighter, less oily donuts, the flavor would meet the expectations of the presentation. read more

With all the great reviews we wanted to try this place out. Service was decent, but both of our eggs were over cooked. My husband had salmon eggs Benedict and I had the Birria Bowl with eggs over easy (which were over hard). His poached eggs were very overcooked and yolk was hard. By the time the waitress came to check on us, mind you it was busy, we had finished what we could and were ready to go. Made the 25+ minute drive out from Grapevine this last Saturday to take my girlfriend to brunch, as she'd been interested in trying this place. I tried to make a reservation the night before, only to find that the restaurant no longer has its online reservations interface enabled and only accepts reservations for larger groups by phone. I looked through the FAQ on their website (https://eggposh.com/frisco-egg-posh-faq) and found a section labelled "What is the average wait time on weekends?" which informed me that their average weekend wait time is 15-30 minutes. So, you can imagine my surprise when we arrived and were informed by staff that the wait time was "90 minutes, at minimum," and that this was not at all unusual for weekend brunch. Intentionally misleading your customers about wait times on your website will get you a well-deserved 1-star rating. We will not be back. read more

Egg Posh has a chic feel to a casual breakfast joint. Our server, Laura/Lauren, was phenomenal because she was attentive and warm. Let's start off with the biggest shocker - French Toast. Holy moly that portion is too much for one person. Three massive brioche bread piled on top of one another can easily be split between two grown ups or three small children. The Waffles were nice and fluffy. The Pancakes had a good crisp due to the butter but I wish it was fluffier on the inside instead of being so chewy. The Chicken and Biscuits was delectable as I would go back and get it again even though I like trying different things. Chicken was perfectly plump and tender with the right amount of batter. Yum! The most disappointing entree was the Lobster Omelet (by disappointing, I mean the bar was set really high) because the taste didn't come together for me. The sauce was too tart and the jalapeños threw it off. I'm one for spices but it just didn't jive with me. Since we were going to be in Frisco we decided to try Egg Posh. I stumbled upon it on Yelp earlier in the week. I loved that we could get on the waitlist via Yelp or the website. Turns out, we were early enough that there was next to no wait when we arrived. They have fresh squeezed orange juice so that was good. They let me substitute chicken apple sausage for the bacon AND for the sausage patty in my plate. That was nice. Our server was ok, nothing bad but nothing to make this experience stand out. For my meal, first my plate came out with the wrong breakfast meat but that was remedied immediately. There was absolutely nothing soft about my soft scrambled eggs! They were so dry I couldn't even eat them. My cinnamon roll pancake was also terribly dry. It was also tasteless. The cinnamon roll icing on the pancake didn't help out either. I had to use syrup to get any flavor. This was another part of my meal that I just couldn't eat more than a few bites of. The right thing for me to do would have been to talk to the manager and/or send the food back. I didn't want to mess with sending anything back because we were short on time. There are some great reviews for Egg Posh but I was extremely disappointed in our experience and have no interest in trying it again. read more

I had to ask our server to not serve steaming hot coffee over my 11 month old baby. We ordered two cups of hot coffee and both cups were passed over my baby's head. I was definitely not happy about it and it showed when I asked him to not do that. He later then apologized for it and made sure that he was much more careful with both food and drinks afterwards. If you've been here before, you'll know that their coffee is always steaming hot and their syrup bottles are warmed up. Accidents unfortunately happen so servers should be mindful of where they choose to serve food. I appreciated the apology and the carefulness that was shown after but it was not a pleasant way to start the dining experience especially since we were celebrating a birthday and it could have been easily avoided. Also appreciated the fact that our server was very upfront and clear that there was already a 20% tip included to the bill for having a larger party which is something that often gets left out. read more

This place reminds me of the Sunflower cafe in Galveston which makes me so happy to have found a place similar in the Dallas area. This place is busy for a reason so be prepared to wait a little bit. We came on a Sunday and waited 15 min which wasn't bad at all. They have indoor and outdoor seating and we got a booth which was very comfortable. They have a full service coffee bar and I got a hot macchiato which was truer to purist coffee places rather than the chain ones. It wasn't too sweet and a great flavor. All the items you order come with a flower garnish which is such a thoughtful touch. They also have a variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from. The inside was compact but everyone looked to be well taken care of with quick service and happy servers. Everyone was smiling and having a good time. Despite the elevated atmosphere this seems like a great family restaurant too. My waffle so so good. Crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside, the berries were fresh and the mascarpone was delicious. Everyone received their food, with the exception of me. I ordered the Burria Bowl & asked to substitute the hash towns with the rosemary potatoes and an order of baby stacks. I actually received a serving of rosemary potatoes and baby stacks with butter or syrup. Everyone at the table who ordered baby stacks didn't receive butter or syrup. I was then served a Burria bowl with hash browns, then had to ask to just bring me a Burria Bowl without any potatoes and told that it was due to the error. Severely overhyped. This establishment seems far more invested in how the food looks than how it actually tastes. Every plate is dressed up with an excessive amount of microgreens, flowers and herbs as if presentation alone justifies the taste or price. It's clear they're chasing an "upscale" aesthetic, but all the garnish in the world can't mask bland flavors or average execution of their food. They do not take reservations so be prepared for a wait. They do use a nice texting app to let you know when your table is ready which made it easy to wait in our truck. The service was very good, the food was also very good except for a couple of notes. The syrup they bring out is a karo / corn syrup unless you ask for pure maple syrup which is $1.00 extra. I find this a very disappointing short cut to the otherwise excellent breakfast items. While they have specialty coffees available, I found the standard coffee quite tasty, rich, bold and smooth. The grits were bland and runny but with a little seasoning they ended up pretty good. The runny texture was a bit off putting to me. In addition, you can order †heir wonderful specialty pancakes as a side however our server did not clearly tell us that this option is $2.00 extra, per side. All she said was "yes you can do that, toppings are extra". As this was our first time, we did not register that what she meant by "toppings" was the specialty pancakes themselves. Hey, hey! Found a new spot. The owner came right over and visited with me. Super nice folks. Great menu selection. I didn't want anything heavy, but that lobster omelette sure looked good!! Got my traditional breakfast and it was great! They have Yellow Bird hot sauces available so I knew they were cool when I saw those on the table. Haha. Jumped on the wait list through Yelp on a Sunday early afternoon and we were seated within 15 minutes . The spot is quaint and cozy and the staff is very sweet ( from our waitress to the host to what I believer were managers or owners ) - everyone was nice . The food was ok - I think I need to try something different next time and can hopefully add a star . I grabbed 'The Works' Bowl and it was lacking in flavor for me ( I got it without bacon bc I don't eat pork ) - so I had to season it and throw some hot sauce on it myself .
