I am here regularly for brunch. The staff is very friendly and always chats with us and even remembers us at times. The breakfast is mostly good, maybe a bit above average, simple but done well. Orange juice is very good and freshly squeezed. Today I had the eggs Benedict for the first time and enjoyed it. I highly recommend the Dutch Baby lemon pancakes, since it's one of their unique specialities that sets them apart. We don't get them every time but they always slap! read more

Needed breakfast on a Sunday morning and The original pancake house was nearby. We waited for about 10 minutes and we were seated. The service is good however the food, not so much. We ordered the strawberry French toast, a Belgium waffle and French Toast with a side of bacon and eggs. The food came about 10 minutes later and I was disappointed. The eggs were awful and the French toast was lukewarm warm. My wife didn't care for the strawberry French toast as it was a little raw. Overall the food wasn't good but the service was ok. I don't need to go back. Cheap food that tasted bad. read more

Came on a Sunday and as expected, we waited for about 45 minutes. I like their pancakes it's Fluffy.The bacon that came with it was delicious and not too salty. The hashbrowns was pretty good too. My friend ordered sourdough french toast, she was happy with it. Brewed coffee was pretty good too, not acidic but bold. Portions are good and priced is also good. Service was very good. read more

I was looking for somewhere to have breakfast before heading into work nearby and this location came highly recommended. Got there around 10:30 and it was not very busy and we were seated right away. Our server was very prompt and great about checking on us. It was a little rainy so I started with some mint tea. Cute display and I really adore their coffee mugs. For my meal, I opted to go with the city scrambler. Which is peppers, onions and broccoli with scrambled egg whites on top. The portion size was perfect. It definitely could have used a bit more seasoning. read more

I have to say that i really enjoy the pancakes here, BUT service has never been their strong suit. Today was HORRIBLE.. we put ourselves on the list which they told us 15 min, we waited 40 to be seated. Then we waited 25 minutes for the waitress to come say hi (by then we were ready to place an order) she said: i will start you guys with some water; which we responded We are ready to order. She replied oh no! I have 20 ORDERS that i need to place so i will get you water & left. We waited 20 minutes and finally decided to leave. Walked to the front & told the manager that they needed to stop seating guests since service was horrible... She apologized and told us she was sorry but our waiter was behind to sit and she would take care of us , which we didn't. We left and wasted an hour there! read more

Talk about being good under pressure! The maitre'd was super nice and accommodating. People were getting angry about having one person in the party of six there and they refused to seat them. There is a reason why this restaurant has earned so many awards... because they food and the service are legit AMAZING! The pancakes were light & fluffy. The omelet was cooked to perfection. If you have never had an OPH omelet it will be a wonderful surprise how they prepare theirs (not done in the flat fold-over fashion)!!! At Granite Park ask for Veneralda's (Vennie) section. The last time I ate at any TOPH location, the Strawberry Yogurt French Toast appeared on the menu. As the closest location had closed, when I attempted to dine here a couple weeks ago, there were folks waiting outside the restaurant and the parking lot was very crowded. This time, when I arrived here around 8:30am, there was no wait to be seated. Unlike the Strawberry Yogurt topping which was exclusive to the french toast, the Banana Pecan Maple topping is also available on the pancake and waffle. I decided to get the Banana Pecan with Maple Drizzle pancakes. There was definitely ample drizzle applied on the pancakes, so none of the breakfast syrup was needed. Also, its flavor may have diluted the maple flavor of the drizzle. If there had been as many bananas on the four pancakes as depicted on the menu, I would not have needed the both sausage links to satisfy my hunger. I definitely enjoyed their coffee. Fortunately, unlike other restaurants, I did not have to wait for my waiter to refill my mug. There were employees walking table to table checking if any customer needed a refill. read more

I've been to this place 3 times every Sunday for brunch with the ol' ball & chain and the food was phenomenal all 3 times. I get the ribeye with eggs and this is one of the few places that knows how to cook a ribeye medium rare. The French press coffee is amazing. This place is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a brunch spot with your spouse. read more

When I lived in Dallas back in the 2010's, the Original Pancake House was always in the weekend breakfast rotation. I was in Frisco last week celebrating my fiancé's birthday and decided to introduce her to breakfast at the OPH. The first thing we ordered as soon as we sat down was some coffee and their famous Dutch Baby, which I realized had to be experienced instead of described. My fiancé loved it, describing it as a cross between a crepe and a pancake with a nice lemon custard like finish. It was totally nostalgic and enjoyable for me. The rest of the breakfast was awesome, but even more awesome was our wait staff! Brandy was attentive and engaging, especially knowing it was my fiancé's first time there, even when it was busy. One of the managers, Carlos, came over and to say Hi and let us try some not-on-the-menu-yet items! There was even an accidental spill at one of the tables behind us and before we blinked there were 4 employees busily cleaning it up and in a matter of moments it was like it never happened. We fully understood that we were early and were told that we had been checked in and that our table would be ready closer to our reservation time. We had absolutely no issue with that. While waiting, we found an area near the bar and ordered appetizers and drinks, spending close to $300 before we were ever seated for dinner. At approximately 8:20 p.m., after our reservation time had passed and we had received no update, we approached the host stand to make sure they knew we were still waiting. We were told that they were waiting for seats to become available and that we would be seated soon. At 8:30 p.m., we were still waiting. When we approached the host stand again, the response was noticeably less courteous. We were told that they could not ask people to leave their tables and that we would be seated when they could accommodate us. At some point during this exchange, we were also told that once we were eventually seated, they would provide us with complimentary appetizers. I want to be very clear: this was never about receiving free food or having something taken off our bill. We had already spent close to $300 on drinks and appetizers while waiting. I neither wanted nor needed complimentary appetizers. What I wanted was for our reservation to be honored within a reasonable amount of time--or, at the very least, for someone to communicate honestly with us, acknowledge the problem, and treat our family with respect. Offering free appetizers did nothing to address the actual issue. By approximately 8:35 p.m.--20 minutes after our reservation time and nearly 50 minutes after we initially checked in--it was apparent that there was no urgency to seat us and, more importantly, no meaningful communication about when we could expect to be seated. At that point, General Manager Landry became involved. Unfortunately, rather than attempting to de-escalate the situation or offer any reasonable solution, his attitude made an already frustrating situation substantially worse. When I reminded him that we had an 8:15 reservation and asked when we could realistically expect to be seated, he again told us that we would be seated when they could seat us. I explained that our party included a pregnant mother-to-be who had not eaten and was beginning to feel unwell, as well as a young child. There was no apparent concern or effort to accommodate the situation. When I pressed him for a more specific timeframe, Landry responded that "it's just a reservation." That statement was astonishing to me. A reservation is a commitment made between a restaurant and its customer. I certainly understand that restaurants run behind and that unexpected circumstances occur. What I do not understand is a General Manager dismissing a customer's reservation as though it carries no significance whatsoever. I asked Landry what Sixty Vines' policy would be if I had arrived 30 minutes late for my reservation. Instead of addressing the obvious point behind the question, he accused me of being "aggressive" and informed me that, if he wanted to, he could simply ask our party to leave. That response was completely inappropriate. Rather than acknowledging that his restaurant had failed to honor our reservation, apologizing for the delay, or attempting to find a solution, the General Manager chose to threaten to remove a family that had been patiently waiting and had already spent nearly $300 at the restaurant. A few minutes later, Landry walked past our group and visibly shook his head at us. It was dismissive, disrespectful, and entirely unbecoming of someone entrusted with managing a restaurant and representing the Sixty Vines brand. Ironically, the person who demonstrated the most professionalism and empathy that evening was the young server who had been taking care of us near the bar. She observed what was happening, approached us on her own, apologized for the situation, and asked whether there was anything she could do to help. Her response stood in stark contrast to that of the General Manager. By this point, we had closed our tab. The pregnant member of our party had become so unwell while we waited that she actually vomited. We informed Landry of what had happened, and again there appeared to be little concern. His primary focus remained his assertion that we had "yelled" at him. To be clear, customers who have waited well beyond their reservation time, received virtually no meaningful communication, and then been told by the General Manager that "it's just a reservation" are understandably going to become frustrated. A capable General Manager should know how to manage that frustration professionally rather than escalating the situation and threatening to remove the customers. Ultimately, we left without ever having the birthday dinner.

Best breakfast in Frisco! Everytime we go the food is great as is the service. The wait can be killer on the weekends so we like to go early and get first dibs (around 8:30am). Their coffee is amazing and I'm pretty sure it has to do with them serving it with heavy whipping cream. I would not eat here if you are intending to be diet friendly! Throw caution to the wind and order the strawberry waffle with homemade whipped cream, fresh cut strawberries, and a strawberry syrup they make in house. It is heaven. Came in Saturday with my child for a tasty breakfast and my goodness they delivered! Not only was the food amazing Yukari was very polite, anticipated our needs, she made sure my kiddos dietary restrictions were respected. We were seated and brought out our drinks. The resturant is short staff and we waited over 30 mins for our food. My omelet was overcooked and had brown burnt all sides of omelet. Had omelet remade asked to make sure soft no browning or fried omelet. 2nd omelet same issue. None the less the whole experience was ruined. We will not go back to this location. read more

This is busy, popular breakfast place. The staff is very accommodating and they have a very reasonably priced kids menu. They make a great fresh fruit plate which can take the edge off while waiting for kids' good to be delivered. The Dutch baby is a family favorite. Service was quick and attractive. This place is awesome. The coffee is great the food is great, and the service is great. All of the times I have come here with friends it has been great. The feeling around the restaurant is always nice. They even have their coffee edicts covered with bottomless coffee for $4. Definitely coming back. read more

The food was amazing but the service was even better. If you go, I'd recommend the maple banana pecan waffle and the breakfast burrito. To top it all off, they even offer bottomless coffee for 4 bucks. It even has a caffeine addict like myself covered. read more

Their fancier breakfast entrees sometimes fail to delight, but their pancakes, bacon, coffee and waffles are absolutely top notch. Stick to the basics and you will not be disappointed. Also, this place has my favorite coffee in town. read more

The only knock I have was that the bacon was not the tastiest. I'm a sucker for a good buffalo chicken sandwich, so I also ordered one, and it was delicious, highly recommended it if you come for lunch or if you're not a breakfast person. The fries were also delicious and had a great crisp. Eggsquisite will definitely be part of the brunch/lunch rotation for me and my family going forward!

They kept looking at each other and mumbling amongst themselves, and then finally the youngest of the three (who did not appear to be any older than 9 years old) told us that our table was taken by another family who helped themselves to the table. I asked if the situation could be corrected by asking the other party to wait their turn, to which the little girl responded, "Well, that would be awkward." Very dismissive and unprofessional, but I didn't expect a professional response from a child. I requested to speak with the manager. Unfortunately, the interaction was disappointing. The manager seemed more inconvenienced than concerned and advised us to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for the next available table. At no point was an apology offered for their oversight, nor was there any effort made to acknowledge or resolve the situation in a customer-focused manner. If the manager and the hostesses of a diner lack professionalism, organization, and accountability on the frontline, it raises concerns about their overall operations and the integrity and quality of their food preparation in the back. I will not be returning to this establishment and will make sure to advise all my friends, colleagues, and family to stay away from this place.
