    Misugaru Latte

The original street toast was a bit sweet but it grew on me. The toast was very soft and fluffy. The tofu skin kimbob was pretty good too. My picture doesn't capture how big each piece actually was. I also liked the sauce it came with, I even dipped the kimchi pancake in it. The kimchi pancake was very crispy. I dont think they skimp on the portion size. I've never had a cafe/restaurant serve 3 whole kimchi pancakes in one order. I only wish it came with its own dipping sauce. The misugaru latte felt like it was missing some something that I couldn't place. But it could just be a preference issue. The service is very friendly. Even though there is a kiosk for self-orders, the server came out to greet us while we ordered on the machine and made us feel welcome. They also served us cups of water when we sat down. Very clean inside and some cute decorations if you look closely.

Tried Egg Street on a Friday morning and really enjoyed it! The vibes here are bright and sunny great for solo or group diners. The service here was great; everyone was warm and welcoming! The original street toast and kimbap were both delicious and satisfying. The kimchi pancake was crispy and flavorful. The Misugaru latte had a grainy texture, which wasn't my personal favorite, but my friends liked it. Highly recommend the kimchi pancake, kimbap, and the sandwiches!

I really loved the fish roe kimbap, we also got the tuna, tteokbokki and ramen. Unfortunately the tteokbokki portion felt really small, without much soup to go with it, and also wasn't very spicy. The other food was pretty good but the wait time was way too long for what it is and what you're paying for.

My friend and I got the original street toast and walking inside it was clean and empty. The food was served in a decent amount of time and it was pretty good like the sweetness of the egg. However, it's not worth the price given that we paid 15.49 for it since we can make it our own. I feel like the price isn't reasonable for this toast.

The tofu kimbap was really good! I wish it had indicated there was sesame seeds on it or that the order kiosk had a place to have indicated no sesame. I got to go but the staff person who passed me my order was really nice and gave me a little bag and extra cup to hold my drink. It's a cute but lively little spot with k pop playing on tv and several tables in the arch shaped space. Good use of the odd layout so it doesn't actually feel that small.

Came on a work trip with my partner and we decided to stop by this place. We ordered the cheese Tteok-bokki, bulgogi kimbap, and jjajangbap. I'm from California and of all the Korean places I've tried this one is the best! The portions were the perfect size. The flavors weren't too overwhelming. The owner and cook were really sweet. The owner even bagged our leftovers which I did not expect. I would definitely come again if I ever visit again

Amazing ambiance, service, food, and drink! Hands down - my favorite Korean spot on the Ave right now!

Bit overpriced for basic Korean food and the portion size, and it took a while to come out despite it not being busy. But the interior is cute and the servers are kind and attentive. The kimbap was also well-made and delicious. Not many good korean spots on the ave so this one in comparison is pretty decent.

Kate Was the nicest and funniest worker ever and her service was amazing. I recommend the matcha Korean iced coffee and tteobaki !!!!!!!

The food here is delicious and the staff amazingly friendly and welcoming! They play really relaxing music and the building is so clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend supporting this small business, they are !

Wow if you get any noodles, you get a huge noodle soup! the noodles come in a decadent soup separately from the rest. What a cool concept! I didn't get to try the non-buffet section but heard amazing things. Ambience - 9/10 -- love the cozy vibe Service - 9/10 -- food is served quickly! Quality - 8/10 -- low on variety + but delicious for what they do have! Value - 9/10 -- $14.99/lb solid for the concept! especially if you get noodles Overall - 8.8/10

Pretty fun concept located in UDistrict! Just like a lot of gacha related stuff, a lot of money is involved - here, for a chance to use the capsule machine to get either toys or some promotion, you need to spend $25 before tax and tip which is fairly high if everyone in the party wants one. We did end up doing that, by trying out the braised soup as well as some of the hot food menu. The braised soup is $14.99/lb and is a similar concept to that of YGF Malatang in UDistrict, where you get a bowl and tongs to put in whatever you want and they will cook it for you. They have vegetables, tofu, noodles, fish balls, and sliced beef you can choose from. I got a little bit because we also got hot food, and it was solid. I opted for a little bit of spicy so there are some spicy peppers thrown in a rich, thick soup. They separate out the noodles from the other ingredients in a bowl which is interesting. We also tried the braised pork over rice, popcorn chicken, chicken fillet, and fried king oyster mushroom. The braised pork over rice is very flavorful and good, and it is perfect to pair this with one of the other dishes like popcorn chicken or king oyster mushroom. The popcorn chicken itself is well-spiced, though portions are on the smaller end for the price of $8. The chicken fillet has more chicken overall and less breading, but it has spices and preparation similar to the popcorn chicken. The king oyster mushroom also has similar spices and preparation methods, and is like the vegetarian option. Overall, the food is decent and the bonus is that even though after tax and tip our order is over $75, but we were $1 short of 3 coins (3x$25), the cashier still let us have it since the 4 of us ordered so much food overall. However, in terms of price versus quality, I have had better and the food here is priced in a way that it is hard to go just over $25, and you end up over-ordering as you feel like you are just so close to getting the capsule that not spending a few bucks more will trigger sink cost fallacy.

I came here for the gatcha capsule! I had to eat 25 dollars worth of food for it, which I felt was a bit too pricy. I got a cute bunny though! I thought the ambiance was nice with little figurines decorating a wall. I came here 20 minutes til close so I could only do take out. I got braised pork over rice which was delicious! I also got corn dogs, mozzarella sticks, fried king oyster mushrooms and sesame balls. I told them to cover it in hot spice since I like it spicy. Theres a lingering kick that you should definitely watch out for! I ended up in a food coma on account of all the food I ate. Just look at the photos of all the food I took. Tell me that wouldn't put you in a food coma! I hear the main dish is the soup so I will need to try that the next time I come here.

The café has around 20 seats, including a mini couch, a table in the middle, and a few seats by the window. It's the type of place where you might end up sitting right next to someone, so be prepared to make a new friend! The vibe was definitely more for people who need a quick place to work and not for big groups and loud conversations. Parking on the side street that it's on is limited, but I was able to find a spot easily around the corner since there's free 2-hour parking in the neighborhood. You'll need to ask for a key to use the bathroom after you order. They sell coffee beans and a selection of merchandise, along with a small range of pastries like muffins, cookies, and quiche. You order your drinks, and then you have the option to customize them with syrups and drizzles. The ordering process was quick and simple. I had an old gift card to use, and they had to transfer the balance to a new system, which is now linked to my phone number. Overall, it's a good spot if you're looking for a quiet coffee break, but it's not exactly the most exciting place to linger for long. Lastly, I ordered a latte with a white peach flavor. Which was subtle. Didn't really stand out like I hoped. Went with something different because why not! I also had their quiche which had veggies and goat cheese and that was magnificent. Highly recommended. Food ranges from 5-8 dollars and lattes range around 6 dollars. I had the jumbo which is 20oz.

I had their chicken sandwich with a side of potatoes. The sandwich, loaded with substantial pieces of chicken, almost spilling out of the sandwich, and healthy lengths of bacon. We were at our table for about 15 minutes before a server approached us. I had a cup of coffee ($4.50!!??) and the BLT with avocado. My companion had the breakfast sandwich and a canned cold-brew. The sandwiches were decent but nothing particularly special. The bread was good and the sandwich was really big- I only ate half and took the rest home. The potatoes had clearly been sitting on a warming table or under lights for awhile. They were well prepared, and seasoned, but...leathery. Not fresh. Which, at the price point, was a little disappointing. I recognize I'm being picky but: With tip (19% default) we spent $65. For two sandwiches and two coffees. The service was also great, considering there were many people and only one server. The coffee was good and people were all making an effort to speak Spanish, which I very much appreciated. The tortilla de patata, was also fine. That was the good. Overall, the food, as simple as it was, was really, really dissapointing. First, they rely exclusively on a microwave and a toaster oven. This should probably mean they serve only a few premade pastries and maybe come fiambres and call it a day. But I did not realize this when I ordered churros con chocolate for the whole family. Instead of having freshly fried churros - the only way to serve these, and the only way you will ever have them in any cafeteria in Spain - they preheated some pre-baked abominations along with a schmear of cold fudge sauce in a saucer. For a place so infatuated with Spain to serve something so wholly inauthentic really surprised me. Is it that hard to make chocolate a la taza? Is it that hard to have a frier and serve up some fresh churros? That's what we thought we were getting.... The ensaladilla was also a poor imitation of a Spanish classic, with mostly mayo, hardly any tuna, and punctuated with a smattering of pale peas. Even the pan con tomate, jamón y queso was bad. I confess that I've never understood the Catalan tendency to grate tomato on bread for these montaditos, but Ole doesn't even do that. Eschewing this easy opportunity to use a fresh ingredient, they squeeze some cold tomato sauce on a slice of toast instead. Almost as bad, the jamon serrano they use is cold and presliced (meaning that the salt is brought to the surface of the meat), instead of room temperature like jamon needs to be, rendering it dry and hard instead of warm and tender. In short, Ole cuts corners at every turn, relying on premade dishes for nearly everything, a decidedly un Spanish approach to food. Seattle desperately needs an authentic little Spanish cafeteria where folks can get good, simple freshly made tapas made with love. This place doesn't even try. With all that being said, if you want a good coffee and to be surrounded by people who love the language, Ole offers this. And that's pretty good too..

You hear and read only Spanish, and if you're well versed in the language, you will spot everywhere the signs of Castilian Spanish from Spain. Here, the owner is also a Spanish teacher (there was a class in session in the back room while I was there), so she helps you through the experience without breaking the spell by resorting to English. It wouldn't be fair to comment on the food barely 24 hours after opening. We'll see how that develops. Their intention is to provide a rotating selection of Spanish tapas. They have no kitchen, but neither do many Spanish bars. The beauty of classic Spanish tapas (jamón, queso, boquerones, pan, aceitunas, etc.) is they don't require cooking. The key is quality ingredients and as they say in Spain, "poca floritura." Olé café is the perfect remedy for Spanish nostalgia. As I stepped outside and returned to Seattle, USA, I marveled at how small our world has become.
