Got the scramble me softly and the plain Jane. Having mentioned to the woman at the counter she recommended the beer battered fries and that was such a treat! The cashier was super sweet and eager to let us vegetarians know that there would be no chance of cross contamination with what we've placed. On top of both of those items being super popular. The burrito was a generous one hander but watching another man who's probably on a date with a woman asking to split that thing in half so they could share... was painful. The burrito was bomb with how evenly them potato tots were distributed, fresh and irresistible. But the burger was so coveted with sauce it was impossible not to drench your fingers and palms or shirt with each flavorful bite. When I go back I'll for sure go for a burger to expand my lunch options. I was on my way to this shopping center and hadn't eaten yet, so I decided to stop by EggBred for the first time and give it a try for an early bite. It is not a large restaurant, but they make good use of the space inside. There are seven tables and a small bar area in front of the kitchen with five stools. The restaurant is very clean with a yellow color theme and some fun décor and neon signs. I ordered the ribeye steak & egg sandwich ($15.79). After you order, they give you a puck which will buzz when your order is ready. The young cashier was very friendly both upon ordering and returning to the counter to pick up my food. The sandwich looked delicious with its shiny bun and almost all ingredients plainly visible. The egg was cooked a perfect over-medium so it wasn't a big mess. The ribeye tasted good and the amount of meat was ok, although a few bites were a little chewy. I could have used a little less arugula, but overall the sandwich tasted very good. I realize that ribeye is more expensive than other cuts of meat, but at $17 after tax for a sandwich that was a little on the smaller side, I probably would not order this again. So glad I chose getting a quick bite at Eggbred, it definitely did not disappoint. I've been here once prior and never went back for some reason. Parking was pretty easy and inside, it's small but there's a good amount of seating surprisingly. Everything on their menu looks so good and its hard to decide what to choose. I wanted something simple so I ordered the Sausage, Egg and Cheese which was delicious. The bread has a nice softness and what makes the sandwich. I really want to try the Ribeye Steak & Egg or the Country Fried Chicken sando. I will definitely be back but I'm going to have to go to the Long Beach location since it's closer to me. read more

There was generally a good flow of customers coming in throughout the morning. Indoor seating only with about 10-12 tables available. Sausage Egg & Cheese Sandwich ($10.49): Breakfast sausage, medium over easy egg, sharp cheddar cheese, roasted pepper chimichurri, and a paprika spread in between a milk bun. Good overall flavors but just wish the cheese had been melted a little bit into the sandwich. Beer Battered Potatoes ($3.99): crispy semi spiral cut potato with house seasoning (plain available upon request). Not sure how plain would taste but these were very tasty with the house seasoning - no condiments needed! For convenience, packaged utensils, napkins, water, and sauces are all self serve located to the left of the ordering counter. A very nice young man sitting at one of the 4-tops graciously offered his table to my family, explaining he was getting his order to go, and moved to sit at one of the few barstools at the counter. Finally, we were able to place our order. It was kinda noisy in this small restaurant, and at first being somewhat under-caffeinated, thought I heard the order taker repeat my order then state it was going to be ninety something dollars. It was only after adding a tip, did I realize our order was $110.89 for the the following: 1-Ribeye Steak & Egg Sandwich $15.79 2-Loaded Burritos - The Ribeye California $17.99/each 1-Breakfast Burrito - Ribeye Asada $16.99 4 Bottled Cokes (12 oz.) - $5.99/each I was silently hoping the food better be damn good for $93. My issue was with the actual food presentation. I got an undercooked chewy tortilla, the food to tortilla ratio was off, you get full bites of tortilla, watery eggs, and overcooked bacon.
