I hate writing bad reviews. I seldom do but here we are. Two in one week!…read moreWe ate at Rangeen for lunch this week. We both tried the buffet. So my review is for the buffet. They have a lot of options on the menu and many may be wonderful. The dining room is well decorated and bright. Our waiter was nice. Water stayed full. The fresh naan was delicious!!! The buffet was small, limited. There was dal, butter chicken, samosas, etc. I think maybe we just hit them on an off day? The rice was nearly empty and very dried out. They were out of goat curry when we went to the table but the waiter kindly offered to go ask the kitchen for more. I did not try it but my husband enjoyed it. There was a bin with a little lettuce and some tomato slices labeled salad. Some pappadum and some tamarind chutney. Meh. Should we go back perhaps I will try the bhel puri. For what it is, the buffet seemed expensive. They also offer a thali plate for lunch. I saw some people eating this and it looked good. I forgot to take pictures.

I did ask for "Indian spicy" and didn't really find it that spicy though. I had plenty leftover the next day! My mom got a dal and I thought it was excellent! Would definitely come here again and try some different dishes. The inside is really modern and clean looking. I will say one thing, the service was extremely slow, but to be fair, it was the day after Christmas so maybe they were a bit short staffed?

What really stands out is the inclusion of raita and achar. That extra touch brings back fond memories of family home-cooked biryani and makes the experience feel complete. The food quality has been excellent with every order, and the overall dining experience is solid and reliable. One small suggestion would be to consider using to-go boxes with an aluminum liner or another healthier packaging option for takeout orders, as the food really deserves packaging that preserves its quality. Overall, this is authentic, comforting food done right. Highly recommended for anyone looking for real biryani.

First of all the flavors in every dish we chose knocked our socks off! We chose a medium level of heat and decided on a variety of dishes to try to get a full experience. We HEARD the Tandoori Mixed grill come out, then the aromas hit us. BEAUTIFULLY prepared! There was a wide variety of meats, chicken, lamb, fish, paneer, shrimp. Sizzling on a cast iron platter with aromatics mixed in. This dish was perfectly seasoned. The chicken was my favorite! The Chicken Korma was next. This has to be one of my favorite Indian dishes ever. The chicken is almost secondary to the sauce as I tend to dip naan the whole time I'm eating it. The chicken however was very tender and the flavors were incredible! We had two different kinds of Naan to sop all of the sauces up! Such an incredible variety! We had outstanding service and there were several servers making sure our drinks stayed full and our plates were cleared. The restaurant is an old Wendy's, not too fancy inside but clean, and the area is not the greatest, but don't sleep on this restaurant!! They seriously know what they are doing and we plan to make this our spot for this type of Indian cuisine. Oh and I watched my first Cricket match! That's a cool sport! There were a couple of TVs on around the restaurant with sports. Definitely try this place!

Maybe it's just cause they like me though (; haha, idk. We always get the butter chicken & ask for naan instead of rice because we prefer jasmine rice over basmati, & they are super accommodating about it every time. I've been meaning to leave a review for a while now because it's been past well deserved. I hope they stay open for a long time & that business is good for them! The curry leaves and black seed make it incredibly fragrant, and the spices create a deep, complex flavor with a nice chili heat that's really unique. I'm so glad I tried this instead of the butter chicken. It's a lighter curry--not as creamy--but still incredibly rich and satisfying. Honestly, I'm surprised there aren't more reviews about it yet because it's a standout dish. And don't skip the mango lassi--it's absolutely delicious and the perfect balance to the spice. If you want a change from butter chicken, this dish is definitely worth trying!

The ambiance was fine, nothing special. The service was poor. Several Indian restaurants I've visited seem to have an "everyone is your server" policy, which definitively means that no one is your server. Every phase took forever, but at least everything seemed fairly made to order. It was hot and fresh and pretty, if the taste lacked a bit to be desired. They were somewhat non-committal when I asked about gluten-free. The menu has gluten-free symbols in the key, but not one item was labeled with that symbol. They said that just about everything is gluten free, and they offered me a roti that they said was "whole wheat," thus gluten free. What?!?! The prices weren't awful and portions were fairly nice, but there are just much better Indian places in the area, so I don't imagine we'll be back. Oh, and both of our stomachs were pretty messed up later. Hmmm....

We started coming here a little over a year ago and felt it was a borderline 4 star--cleanliness…read morewas always questionable (constant sticky floors and utensils). We've also started noticing a decline in the food quality; little things they do to cut corners such as extra breading on anything that has breading (like gobi manchurian, chicken lollipops, etc.). All the chicken chunks in their main dishes (chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, chicken home style curry, etc.) are all cooked until they're hard as rocks and tough as a rubber band ball--basically inedible. The tandoori chicken lying around is fairly dry, with the exception of the drumsticks, but they're all cool/lukewarm. There's also significantly less customers than there used to be, with a Saturday prime lunch time basically crickets and flies--we saw 2 tables in the hour we were there and it was empty when we got there). It's on the lower end of a 3 star now, but I'll give it the 3 due to the flavorful sauces (minus the completely bland home style curry) and the desserts are still pretty good. I hope they stop cutting corners and focus more on food quality, but I think this is our last visit here. We always came here for the tikka masala (my husband's favorite Indian dish) and considering it's inedible...I guess this is it.

After reading the reviews, I knew it was a good choice. Ordering online was incredibly easy and my order was slated to be ready within 30 minutes after ordering. When I pulled into the parking lot I almost missed it! I walked in and the restaurant was empty beyond the kind, smiling man behind the counter. The music was playing, the place smelled sooo good, I have to go back for a dine-in experience. We opted for chicken tikka masala, a full order of tandoori chicken and extra rice. First, so glad that we ordered extra rice because the amount they gave us beyond that was insane lol. I know my bf can go through some rice so the extra portions were so worth it. We ordered both dishes in HOT and man, they weren't playing lol. So many restaurants don't actually get the spice levels right but they absolutely did. Both dishes were delicious! I was disappointed that the tikka masala portion was so small with only a few chunks of chicken. It was difficult to spread between two. The tandoori portion was massive, they did their big one on that dish. All together, wonderful experience and a great choice. This place is really a hidden gem and I'm so grateful that my fellow Yelpers put them on my radar.

I had heard about doubles from Trinidadian friends, but do not recall experiencing personally. The couple in line before me ordered 10 and I was intrigued! Doubles consisted of chick peas and potatoes inside of a round pastry that resembled a flattened biscuit, but with much better flavor.
