I have come here a handful of times now and this place continues to serve great food. I have tried quite a few of their menu items and I cannot remember most of them however Hum Tum is the dish that stands out and is a must try. The place is fairly big inside with plenty of seating, the service is usually fast, the staff is very polite. read more

I went to check it out thinking it was a new Breakfast place and was pleasantly surprised it was Indian Street Food that had great vegetarian AND non vegetarian options. Inside it was really very open and inviting but I especially loved the self-service filtered water station tucked away in a little corner. I asked for recommendations and the staff was extremely helpful in helping me narrow down a chicken dish with gravy and so I ordered the Chicken Kadai. It comes with either rice or 2 pieces of roti. Every dish is cooked to order and served to your table. So I got to enjoy all the various aromas while waiting. The restaurant started getting more patrons and everyone were Indian so I knew this meal was going to be authentic and not "Americanized" The portion of my Chicken curry was very generous and I now know that I'd need a lot more Roti next time bcos they were extremely delicious and just not enough to share. The yellow saffron rice was very fragrant! IMPORTANT: I absolutely loved that the curry was full of spices and cooked with VERY LOW SALT! Too many restaurants throw in so much sodium and it's really unhealthy. Here you can just add salt according to your taste or eat it as is with all the flavor from the spices. 5* is not enough, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking out this new restaurant. read more

I loved this charming new place next to restore (habitat for humanity). It's located in a brand new building and it was very clean and nice. There is a diner vibe so you can sit down and eat a quick snack or you can make a meal out of it. Everything is served individually just like street food. The staff was very nice. My food came out quickly and was delicious. My favorite was the samosas, I would have skipped the sandwich and bought two orders of the samosas if I knew how good they were. My friend ordered the hot curry rice. I think I'll order that next time. Everything added up quickly as far as the price but it was worth it. Buying more on the first visit to try it out was fun. I would recommend this especially if you are a vegetarian or an egg-tarian. If you do eat meat they do have a few chicken options like kabab and masala. My mom and I have been waiting for Eggholic to open for so long and we were not disappointed! The interior is colorful and trendy with plenty of seats. You order at the front and they deliver your food to your table. Service was very fast! We ordered an egg chicken wrap, anda masala egg grill sandwich, and a desi chai for about $21, which was very filling for 2 people. The 3 layer sandwich is delicious, crispy, and full of flavor, and comes with potato chips. I would definitely order this again. The egg chicken wrap is wrapped with paratha, an omelet, and a finely shredded spiced chicken filling. The chai was creamy, slightly sweet, and spicy. As the name suggests, if you are into eggs, the options are MANY. The desi omelet with bread was really good. French toast is not the traditional sweeter side French toast you would expect, it's a bread dipped in omelet batter taste, which I felt was good. Paneer toofani sandwich was good. Egg gotala which had a tomato onion gravy with hard boiled eggs curry, was ok, wouldn't order again. Pani puri was very spicy. Masala chai and salt lassi was good. Overall good experience. This food was delicious. I think it is important to call out that this is an Indian food restaurant, not a brunch or breakfast place. I didn't really understand what it was by the name alone, but once I read into the menu, I figured it out. As other people mentioned, the server at the counter was extremely helpful and patient explaining what they had and what we could get for our one dairy allergy diner. We got a floating omelette, which was in the same sauce as my paneer Marsala. Both great. We got 2 chicken and rice dishes and they were both great. Yes the samosas were also amazing. I think the thing that needs to be called out is how good the sauces were. Wow. I'm not sure what the green mint sauce was but it was incredible. We got our orders to go, but this is also a fine place to sit and eat even though it is a counter service place. Next time I'm going to try a sandwich! read more

It was too rich for the yogurt tasting. It was too thick texture of the yogurt. It wasn't runny liquid like I'm used to I think. It was ok. To me this is normal for the price range, but it wasn't refreshing or like wow, like im.used to having pani poori. . Overall it's a big space, so it's perfect for big groups. Very good place, infact the best Indian food we have had in Nashville. Considering there is Taj, Bawarchi, cafe india, woodlands...which are all average. This place has a twist with a focus on egg dishes, also has the chaats, paneer dishes, different types of chai. Nice seating and friendly staff. We have to put the dishes away after dine in which is also perfectly fine. Had the Dahi (yogurt) puri chaat. It was absolutely refreshing and make sure you have each puri in one gulp.
