I can only speak for my carry out experience. The ramen was okay. I wish the egg was less cooked-I love when it cooks in the broth. Broth was very oily but it did have a nice kick to its flavor. The pork was more fatty than I'd like. Noodles tasted more like the instant ramen noodles. Portion was small for price too.

Place is a bit of a hole in the wall. It's located in an industrial area. Despite that, the food was pretty good and I was actually pretty surprised. The sushi tasted fresh and was of good quality. It also came with a small salad and miso soup.

This little restaurant is hidden in the warehouse area surrounded by mechanic shops. Those that are in the know, this is a great spot for that sushi craving and their pieces of salmon was very fresh and generous. There isn't a lot of seating space in there which leads me to believe they are known for their takeouts. Found this spot as it is close to the church I attend. I will definitely be returning to check out their bagels and sandwiches. Very friendly staff and they were prepping for closing when I walked in so it was relatively quiet in terms of customers but I would assume they have a following from the local community. Plenty of parking in front of the location as it is in commercial warehouse area.

Sushi is one of my favorite foods and while trying to research new sushi places to dine at, I'm so thrilled to have found out about this cafe/restaurant on Google. Also, whomever designed their logo - isn't it so cute?! Had been eagerly waiting to eat here on a weekend for brunch though always missed my opportunity as they are closed on Sundays. Well, one of my Saturdays opened up and might I say that it was the perfect day! This is truly a hole-in-the-wall type place and very cozy. The name of this cafe couldn't be more accurate -- they feature both an American and Japanese menu. I specifically came for the sushi though this would be a great place to take someone should they have differing tastebuds. Whomever thought of this concept is a genius! What is refreshing, and unlike other places that serve sushi, is that there is no reservation needed nor having to queue up or spend my entire paycheck for wanting to splurge on sushi. You don't have to worry about dressing up in your best attire. None of that here. You can dress comfortably and the prices are very affordable while having a great team of staff members whom are friendly and helpful. Should you need to use the restroom, the staff member will give you a key attached to a wooden spoon to unlock the restroom. The restroom is very clean and spacious. This is truly a hole-in-the-wall dining establishment though evident that this must be a local favorite. Observing whom else was enjoying their meals, there were a wide range of folks dining-in which covered various ethnicities, ages, and gender. They have their menu posted on a sign board to place you order though they also have a paper menu as well. There is also a self-serve water pitcher with cups, where you can serve yourself or choose from any of the variety of beverages for purchase from the beverage cooler. I got the Chirashi Lunch Special which also came with miso soup & salad with ginger dressing while my friend got the Salmon Poke Bowl. It was beautifully arranged and quite delicious. We both loved what we ordered. This dining establishment definitely deserves some more recognition! I'm so honored that I got to eat here. I wish I lived closer! It is rare for me to dine-in at restaurant/cafe regularly though I would back back here every weekend, despite not living particularly close. Time to tell all of my friends about this place and hopefully my friends tell their other friends about this place too. Cannot wait to come back to try the other items on the menu.

Initially the name of this place made me chuckle. I had to check it out. And yes they have both eggs and sushi. Located in an industrial parkway off the 95 and near the Springfield Costco is where this wonderful place lives. I grew up with a Thai mother whose cooking is still the best I've ever had. This place made me think that she was behind the griddle cooking my breakfast. It is made with love and is very tasty. The prices are very reasonable and better than grabbing fast food from somewhere else. It is very clean and has good music playing. I stop by before work on days I have late meetings and am glad I've added this to my routine. Everyone that works here is so nice. Always greet and speaks to you with a smile. It is located next to an active warehouse loading zone, but parking is available. One day I'll come by after work to get the sushi!

Super Volcano Roll, Las Vegas Roll, California Roll

What a hidden gem! We didn't have any issues finding parking. You order up front and they bring everything to you. We came here for lunch and ordered the Jedi Entree, the Master Yoda roll, takoyaki and Andy's Donburi. Everything was absolutely delicious and the Sashimi was all so tender. Absolutely recommend coming here and we will definitely be going back. They serve a variety of canned and bottled drinks as well!

I stumbled upon this spot while getting my car serviced across the street. I was pleasantly surprised by its offerings and happy I dined here. This spot offers both American breakfast and lunch fare and Japanese food items. I ordered the Western Omelet Platter (comes with home fries) + upgrade bagel from toast and a large coffee. The grand total was under $12, which was great. The meal was as straightforward and home-cooked, which is what I expected. The omelette and potatoes were under seasoned, but still cooked well. The coffee was excellent. I recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch. I'll definitely be back.

A hidden gem in Springfield with two of my favorite things, 1. BREAKFAST BURRITOS, and 2. SUSHIIII. It's really the best of both worlds, and I'm so glad this place exists. The area is random for the location, but there's decent parking. It's a rather small place but they have a sushi bar, where you can sit in front of the sushi chef. It seems more of like a eat and go kind of place than an official restaurant. They have super friendly and accommodating staff! For all the options they have, the prices are pretty reasonable. The menu is surprisingly extensive. They have sushi from nigiri, sashimi, to specialty rolls and hand rolls. For the breakfast menu, they have many breakfast sandwiches and other breakfast essentials. Not to mention, they have deli sandwiches too! I was tempted to gatekeep ngl, but I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Fantastic !!!

About a 1-1.5: Sorry, Eggs & Sushi - our most recent experience was not a tasty one; not sure what happened? This Korean-owned eatery offers weekday breakfast options (such as breakfast sandwiches, omelets, bagels, burritos, and platters), sandwiches, wraps, burgers, fried rice, Japanese entrees (such as udon and poke), and sushi (sashimi, nigiri, and maki rolls). They also have daily specials, too, which involve combo deals with fries. We came here for a later lunch, and we ordered: +the Steak & Cheese combo special - strips of ribeye with Provolone, grilled onions, and mayo (opted out of lettuce and tomato); these came with a side of fries; the steak and cheese had a weird tang to it - not sure if it's the specific type of mayo that was used? It just wasn't good; also, the side of fries were overly cooked - not sure if they had cooked an old batch again, but we couldn't understand how such fries were still served to patrons +Eggs & Nori Roll (listed as #66) - similar to a rainbow roll, this had tuna, salmon, yellowtail, white fish, wasabi tobiko, cucumber, and avocado, served with ponzu sauce; not as tasty as I remember it being the first time we've had it - the fish could have been more fresh, and there were some parts of the rice that were hard and undercooked +a Chicken & Rice Burrito - this contained rice, chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, eggs, and salsa - unfortunately, this was just poorly made; it wasn't even wrapped tightly so it was literally a loose tortilla with all the fillings coming out; this was also super bland and tasted strange; the salsa that supposedly was included was non-existent, and adding hot sauce didn't help Service was super friendly and welcoming, and there's only a handful of seating inside. When we were there, the popular order was the steak & cheese/chicken & cheese. It was such a disappointing experience, and we wished we had chosen another spot to have lunch... Zero complaints. I went in with minimal expectations and some confusion and was pleasantly surprised by my entire experience Menu is pretty incredible and diverse. Place is small and aggressively clean. They have drink fridges with sodas, juices, and lots of wine/champagne. My food came really fast and the person taking my order was very friendly My lunch was served with miso soup and salad on the side. I dislike miso soup but theirs was delicious. Sushi was fresh and I really really liked it. Will definitely come back and try more things

Okay not the best pictures because I forgot to take the pics right away but oh my gosh!!!! My burrito was AHHHHMAZING!!!!! They definitely put more Avocado than I thought they would in there and made it worth while. My husband said he didn't like his bowl as much as I loved the burrito. The people were super friendly and pretty fast at getting us our food. The whole place was just great! I loved it! read more

Secret spot Food is great here. Great lunch after you spent $$$ at Costco near by. This will be my lunch or brunch spot after my Costco run. Nice friendly staff and cozy place to sit down and enjoy my meal. read more

Surprisingly good execution for a somewhat unusual concept. Eggs & Sushi is both a Japanese/sushi spot and an American diner, where you can order traditional diner food as well as a full sushi lunch. This is not the best sushi you will ever have, but it was pretty good and a great option if there are people in your group who like different types of food. Staff is really nice and accommodating, and while the ambiance is not amazing (it's in an industrial park), they do clear your plates. What's also great is many of their snack options are Asian themed, and they also sell sake by the bottle! read more

We stopped here for breakfast after a dentist appointment and were not disappointed. Staff were all very friendly and the restaurant was clean and organized. Both my husband and I had the chicken and avocado breakfast burrito - the spicy mayo made the dish. I ordered a hash brown which was tasty but a little heavy on the oil. We'll definitely be back to try some more menu items (including the sushi). read more

Tonight for dinner we decided to give Eggs and Sushi a try. We were greeted right away and given menus to look over. You order at the counter and then pick your seat. All of the rolls were delicious! I ordered the vegetarian rolls. Both of them had the perfect amount of rice and fillings. My husband ordered the real sushi and said that both rolls were better than he expected. We can't wait to bring the kids when we go back. We also can't wait for this weekend so we can try their breakfast burritos off the American menu! read more

This place is phenomenal. We always loved jennys deli but the new owner has really embraced the great deli they had and added in a sushi menu. Place is very clean and inviting. We had the shrimp tempura, Japanese lasagna (baked, so good!!!), rainbow roll, and crown roll which has a fried soft shell crab. Everything was so good. Staff are a small mom and pop family owned place. They're so sweet. I'm sure it'll be a matter of time before this place blows up. Hole in the wall gem sushi joint added to the neighborhood, this is the best thing that we got! Visiting from California, my daughter and son-in-law took me here for sushi. What a little gem! The sushi is fresh and delicious. I had the Bloody Mary Roll on soy paper and the Heart Breaker appetizer. Both were amazing! The udon noodle soup had a flavorful broth, and it comes with tempura shrimp and veggies. Small, not fancy but very good and friendly customer service. Do yourself a favor and stop by for tasty food! read more

Beyond thrilled with this find. I ordered both an egg saland sandwich AND a tamago roll and that just makes the foodie in me feel so damn good. I've had every single cafe/sushi place in this area and Eggs & Sushi is unpretentious, delicate, clean, fresh, and frankly, I'd probably be friends with the owner. It's such a great concept. Such a cute little spot that is located in such a hidden area. I never would've thought they'd open a sushi/breakfast spot in this area but they did and I was excited to try them out since they are right near where I live. Tried their super volcano roll, tempura roll, and chirashi. I also had the chance to try their nigiri sushi from the a la carte menu and it was great ! Fantastic food! Taking the place and space of Jenny's deli, they still have the same great breakfast and lunch menu that Jenny's deli had, but have added sushi to the afternoon menu! And the sushi is amazing!!! My favorite place to grab breakfast and lunch! Try the master yoda roll. It's so delicious! read more

What a find! My husband and I tried this spot for breakfast and the breakfast burritos were soooo good. Then we decided to try it for Sushi for dinner one night and it did not disappoint! The rolls were great and fresh. This place could be easily missed in passing and is in more of the industrial area. DON'T MISS OUT on this hidden gem! read more

This place was a small and quaint but the food is top notch. We heard about this place from several friends and it did not disappoint. The owner is very sweet as we placed a custom sushi order for our little one and he came out to make sure we didn't want to customize our other rolls. We had the spicy tuna (best I've have to date), spider roll, California roll and salmon nigiri. Prices are the best in town. Will definitely come back. read more

Deli style place with some interesting menu items. Had some very tasty inari rolls that were delicious. The cashiers did not know what an inari roll was, however. No frills come to the counter fast food type environment. Chef/owner knew what he was doing though. read more

Was looking for a bodega style BEC with SPK and found exactly what I was looking for. Judging solely from the name, I was lowering my expectations, HOWEVER, I am very pleased when I was greeting by warm welcoming aunties. I ordered my BEC with a coffee and it took no more than 3 minutes. The bagel was perfectly toasted. The egg was nice and thin and the bacon was crispy. I will recommend to all and will definitely be back! read more

Full disclosure...I only ever order the BLT with Egg here. I would love to branch out, but can't bring myself to order anything else because it is so delicious! Simple sandwich with fresh ingredients. So yummy! I have only ordered breakfast from here, so I can't comment on the service or ambiance, unfortunately- but the egg blt's always hit the spot! read more

Absolutely love Eggs & Sushi! My husband and I both love their whole sushi menu as well as their breakfast bagel options. We've frequently ordered both off UberEats and had a great experience every time. The unique speciality sushi rolls are one to try. Their more classic rolls like the Philly roll also tasted fresh and yummy. Try the maki here if that's your thing -- mine was delicious! Would recommend ordering to go as the inside is smaller and nothing too crazy, but still very clean and room with tables if you're eating in store. They are always quick and fresh with orders here, even with an expansive menu! read more

MY NEXT GO-TO SPOT! My boyfriend and I saw this restaurant on yelp, so we decided to try it out. Not only are the portions of the cheese steak large, but the amount of fries they gave us big as well! We ate towards closing and felt bad about staying past closing hours; however, the employees there assured us that it was no trouble and to take our time. Take about hospitality! We also got the japanese lasagna, fried Cali roll, and other sushi rolls that were very delicious. 10/10 would come back again :D read more

A truly hidden gem, great for a quick breakfast as well as lunch. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but the food and quality outperform the competition. The bonus is that it's actually a sushi place as well, with wonderful Asian dishes and drinks. read more

I love Eggs & Sushi, it's my go-to place for Japanese food, even though they also have other food. It's near Costco Newington. The quality of the food is superb. My favorite meal is the chirashi special, which has an amazing variety of seafoods, omelette and veggies on it. Nothing is routine - it's waaaay better than other places. It even includes smoked oyster and a tasty carrot-like veggie I have not found at any other restaurant. For a drink, I admit I go Latino with a cold, natural, canned Maracuya (passion fruit) drink from Vietnam. The working owners and staff are super friendly. Just stopped into this new place for a bunch of sushi rolls. Ordered online for pickup and the sushi was fresh, delicious and made on time. They offer many more items than sushi to include breakfast and smoothies. Please give this place a try- I selfishly want it to succeed! read more

Atmosphere: Tucked into a quiet Kingstown strip mall. Interior is nice if not a bit dated and dark. They seem to only have hibachi tables, and when we arrived, it was empty (we did also have a reservation). It got much busier earlier, and I think that is because it takes time to move people in and out with the hibachi. Service: The greeter and server were excellent. We observed some other hibachi chefs who seemed fun and engaged. Our chef, however, seemed really checked out and was not into doing the whole shtick. Here's where I lowered my rating from a 4.5 or even a 5 to a 3 - My wife and I are allergic to shellfish, and my mother doesn't eat shrimp because it's not kosher. The server asked us about dietary restrictions, and we noted right away that we wanted our shrimp that comes with each meal to go to my father, the only member of our party who eats it. We also requested that the rest of the food be cooked further away from the shrimp and not make direct contact, etc. We also repeated this request to the chef again when he started preparing our meal. Despite this, he proceeded to prepare the shrimp with it touching the chicken and beef, and used the same hibachi utensil the entire time, moving between the shrimp and the other meats and veggies without care. Luckily, we don't have a strong contact response , but my throat did feel itchy after the meal. I think this was a reasonable request and one that has been accommodated at every other hibachi restaurant I have ever been to - at Disney, they simply accommodated us by cooking the shrimp after everything else was done and served. The only 'care' our chef took here was omitting the part of the service where shrimp pieces are tossed. On top of this, the food was much greasier than even the average hibachi. Tons of butter - I also thought the way the chef dipped his used grill utensils into a huge vat of butter was unsanitary and likely against code. Everything tasted okay in the moment, but two of us got sick after - not sure if this was from the food safety or the sheer amount of butter and oil. Chicken was flavorful but dry. Steak was flavorful but tough. Veggies were very good. I enjoyed my hot saki and my wife enjoyed her Kirin. Soup and salad are served with the meal. I was surprised that the soup was a clear chicken broth and not miso as is traditional. It was very plain and flavorless. Overall, I would not recommend this place, despite there being fewer and fewer hibachi options around where you get the full grill experience.

I come here often, the only place that truly offers actual food unlike Mcdonald's. It's honestly impressive how much food the chef can cook! It's always so delicious, the ladies up front are so kind and nice. I definitely want to keep coming back, everything is a 10/10 for me from here. I love it. read more
