My boyfriend and I drove quite far to get to this restaurant. We arrived around 8, an hour before closing and noticed the lights were off, but the "OPEN" sign was still on. We walked in and weren't greeted at all. Cool, No big deal. We approached the host to ask for a table for two, and she RUDELY rolled her eyes at us RIGHT IN OUR FACES. Here's the bad... - Barely taste any syrup - Boba was bland and mushy to the point it got stuck in the straw every sip I took. - milk tea tasted like it was watered down - NO toppings included with price - No a/c I asked the server if boba was included in the milk tea since the picture had boba. She hesitated, then said yes. So I assumed she wouldn't charge me $0.50 for toppings. After looking at my receipt, she charged for the toppings! Had the Cha gio & thit heo nuong. I was pleasantly surprised, considering the negative reviews. The thinly sliced pork was flavorful with nice grill marks. The egg roll that comes with was very tasty. The vermicelli bowl is full of fresh lettuce, carrots, sprouts, crushed peanut and cukes. What was missing was the fresh herbs that accompany every Vietnamese dish. Some basil and mint would have finished it properly. The nuoc cham could have used a bit more fish sauce to my personal taste. The name cracks me up. read more

We've tried this place twice now. It's convenient when we are shopping in this center. There is only so much Indian buffet (Namaste) you can take. So the prices are comparable in price. The menu is small. The first time we both got the grilled pork vermicelli bowls and the second time I got the same while my hubby got the pho. There are many negatives on the broth. He said it was bland but put lots of sriracha and that improved it. The vermicelli bowl features less meat than we get from other restaurants (Viet House & Pho 777). The meat is also tougher. The bowl is about half vermicelli/half shredded lettuce. So, you're overall getting less food for your money. The summer rolls are decent. The egg rolls are to die for! Also, I tried a coconut bubble drink (Pina colada and lychee were both out) and that was decent but you get less compared to other places on this too. read more

I discovered Pho and loved it! This plce is close to my house and has great food and while eating in restaurant is a great experience their delivery leaves a little sour taste in my mouth. Twice now they failed to pack my complete order and only getting 1/2 of your order is frutrating since i did pay for it..Hopefully reviews like this will assist them in doing better, i hope. I don't understand the hype. Ive lived here for over 20 years, have tried this place multiple times, and am ALWAYS disappointed. I've heard that the kitchen staff is different now, and perhaps that explains the discrepancy in reviews. Anyway, the food: The pho - this is clearly what everyone comes for. While nothing about their pho is bad, compared to other places, they basically serve you tons of broth and really skimp on the noodles and meat. Still, if this is your only pho option on a cold day, you could do worse. Appetizers - I had the shrimp rolls. They were huge, square shaped, and had been deep fried so long that they absorbed tons of oil. This resulted in the outside being way too crunchy, as well as incredibly greasy. The filling was 90% shredded carrots. What little shrimp was there was completely tasteless, and some pieces still had the shell on. I shared this with two other people and we all had the same reaction. I've also had the regular egg rolls, and while not as bad the shrimp rolls, I'll never order them again. I don't know if this is a Vietnamese thing or just a Pho Kim thing, but either way, avoid! The one saving grace is their Bubble Tea. But even that wasn't as good the last two times I had it. They stopped making the Green Tea bubble tea (the best one) and the drink didn't seem properly blended - parts seemed frozen, flavor was lacking. At least the Heineken hasn't changed! read more

Ordered sesame beef and and order of egg rolls. Portions were good and the flavors were satisfying. Egg rolls didn't skimp too much on the meat filling like Chinese restaurants will do. Sesame beef had a similar marinade to Korean galbi, which is our fav, so we're very happy with what we ordered. The couple next to us both had big bowls of pho and they seemed happy with their meal.
