This place is no doubt one of my favorite breakfast spots in Western Pennsylvania. It's easy to miss while driving by, and parking is located in the back, and inside it's definitely not overly spacious, but... the service is always very good and the food comes out quick and delicious. There's a nice counter to sit at if you like, and tables both inside and outside. It's a fun place to enjoy breakfast. Convenient location near the airport that has great food, great service, and great prices. Parking is located in the back near their outdoor patio. We grabbed a table outside since the weather was perfect and they have a covered patio that's in the shade. The staff was very energetic and friendly while they took great care of us. I ordered the Ironworker and it was so much food for such a good price. Everything came out quickly and the food was prepared just as we asked. Our bill did get slightly mixed up but they apologized and we handled it ourselves. This is probably because 2 servers were taking care of everyone. I haven't been to Eggs N'at in a very long time! My visit on a Friday morning did not disappoint. My wife and I arrived around 9am and were able to promptly get seated. Yes, the restaurant is small so there are very busy times! I had the eggs n'nat which is two eggs, home fries, meat, toast, and a pancake. It was really good, just the right size too. Not small, but quite filling. My wife had the mixed grill and enjoyed her breakfast. Only ding is I had to wait forever for an additional glass of water. Everyone is very friendly and this is one of the better breakfast spots in the area. Stop in, you won't be disappointed! read more

While staying in the Moon/Coraopolis area I sought out some decent, local joints to grab a good breakfast and this was in the top 3 of my search and I ended up making it my 3rd stop (on different days, of course). I absolutely LOVE corned beef hash, so I knew I wanted to try that. I always enjoy an amazing and spicy Mexican breakfast and since they had breakfast burritos, I knew I needed to try that. And lastly, the have sausage gravy, so I wanted to also try a biscuit and gravy. I tried all three on this trip and they were all interesting and uniquely different than what I'm normally used to: - Breakfast Burrito - It was OK, but was simply an omelet of egg and chorizo put into a tortilla wrap with cheese, no seasoned potatoes nor cilantro nor beans, etc inside to make it a 'real' burrito. - Corned Beef Hash - I'm not sure what's up with hash in the Pittsburgh area, but this is the second one I've had that was mostly huge chunks of boiled down (nicely soft) potatoes and just a little bit of finely chopped corned beef/pastrami. - Biscuit Gravy - The biscuit was interesting and decent... not sure if it's fresh or frozen/distributor-provided and then baked, but they did split and flattop it, which I liked. The gravy was definitely freshly made in-house with a nice sausage, that had good herbs/flavor. This was probably the best of the three things I tried. Their coffee was actually really good too and service was decent. My biggest peeve was that they use paper straws - WTF?!?! Seriously, STOP IT WITH THE PAPER STRAWS, they're useless and melt into your drink within 10 mins... just stop it! Plastics are still going to be made for generations, paper straws aren't doing anything to help the environment! The joint's vibe is cool! I liked it and the place has a nice, homely feel to it. I'd highly recommend stopping in for breakfast! I wasn't there for lunch, but I'm sure they probably do a decent job with that too. read more

Omelets are their specialty ( I was told - was lucky to speak to the chef when I arrived) so I ordered a hot sausage and cheese omelet and was not disappointed!~!! Came with home fries and toast. Yes, salty but when you order such a combination you get what you deserve. My friend's ham and cheese omelette had so much cheese had actually giggled at the "cheese pull." The home fried potatoes were the best I have ever had -- griddle cooked to get a nice hard crust on one side, great seasoning. Good toast, good coffee, constantly refilled. We sat at the counter, which is fine. But if you can snag a table on the covered deck (as we did on a previous trip) it's really nice ambiance. Great little place! Small and the parking lot is on a pretty steep hill. Once you get inside you will find TONS of happy guests eating delicious food. We enjoyed the eggs Benedict and the huevos rancheros. The Benny was great snd the home fries tasty! The huevos rancheros - a half portion was huge! Solid, diner style, breakfast spot with great prices and friendly service. I had coffee and a turkey sausage breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Neither were the best I'd ever had, and I was a bit disappointed that my cheese wasn't fully melted on my sandwich, but both certainly served the purpose of a decent quick breakfast in a nice atmosphere, which is truly all that I was hoping to have. The sandwich came out quickly and my waitress was super friendly, even proactively offering a to-go cup of coffee, which is always my favorite thing since I pay for bottomless and never even make it through a cup. One of my favorite breakfast spots! The servers are so nice and attentive. Coming here is like coming to your moms kitchen for breakfast. It's just a great place to be in and the breakfast is amazing! They have all sorts of flavored pancakes (cheesecake, banana walnut, peanut butter, etc.) and they're all delicious. It can get very busy here on the weekends so get there early or be prepared to wait! In the summer they have a back deck you can sit on, which is also really nice.
