A quaint, unassuming Cafe located in Coraopolis. Upon entering, it has a few tables. And on the weekends, you might have a little wait for one of those tables. Once seated, you know right away that this is going to be a good experience. The service and the food were very satisfying with large portions. And my coffee cup never stayed empty for long. But the best thing about our visit was the sweet 9-year-old daughter of the owners named Gianna. She, as well as her mom and dad and other servers, glide about the room, making everybody feel welcomed. Highly recommend. read more

What a great little gem! We are vacationing from Atlanta and had breakfast here TWICE! One of the best pancakes you'll ever eat. The hot sausage is a MUST HAVE and the breakfast potatoes are a welcome change from the norm. Very cute and clean, and a very attentive staff. I love that Cafe Gianna is here to add to Coraopolis' restaurant options. I would urge them to bump up the menu offerings a notch. Most things on the menu are very ordinary. We got a chicken salad and the "greens" were iceberg lettuce. A bit of creativity for the sandwiches and salads (breakfast items are all favorites so I understand they should stay as they are!) would go a long way. I hope this darling cafe succeeds. read more

The potato's are phenomenal. We went on a late Sunday morning, they were busy, we didn't wait long, the service was decent and friendly. The scrambled eggs were a bit buttery but cooked very well. The hot sausage was homemade and delicious and the portion was generous. The French toast was decent but nothing to write home about. The Belgium waffles looked amazing and I'll try those next. However, and I can't stress this enough, the potato's are phenomenal. read more

First time here. It's hard to screw up a western omelet but you can sure improve them and Cafe Gianne did just that. I'm not advocating candy for breakfast but the onions in this omelet were sweet as candy. And most places have very small diced ham, but this one had half inch chunks of ham all throughout. Eggs were fluffy... all-in-all a great western omelet. And their potatoes are very unique and perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend breakfast here. read more

What a delight! The food was great, so yummy and filling. Service was excellent-highly recommend!

Our family prefers to support small businesses. The restaurant was busy, which is great for them. The server brought us coffee and not cream or milk. We asked several times, it never came. We asked for water, that never came. Actually, I can excuse those issues - though my friend cannot drink black coffee so I felt badly for them. But I was surpised that they do not use fresh fruit or vegetables. There is a fruit cup on the menu and it is 5.95 - small and all cannned fruit. The vegetables in the omelet were also canned. This may be standard and I apologize if that is how diner's work. I asked if they were out - they said not - that is what they serve. The crowd was all male and from looking around, they received a lot of attention from the owner and server. The windows were brightly painted for winter and fun looking. read more

We head to Montour Sports Complex several times a week for our son's Riverhounds practices and games. Can't believe we just found this hidden gem. Found Cafe Gianna's and had their "Everyday Special" for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly. They also have Mancini's toast, which is another plus. Best Breakfast joint in the area. Can't wait to go back for a Smash Burger lunch! read more

Coffee is hot and strong and the Eggs Benedict were so good - perfect lemony hollandaise and perfectly poached eggs, with a really thick cut slice of ham! Little hidden gem in Coraopoljs! Took my daughters here after church and was presently surprised. The food was amazing and the service was even better.
