Food was pretty good, although eggs were overcooked. Our server did a good job, but the manager who greeted us seemed angry to be there. One of the workers came by our table and dumped extra butter and creamers on the table, telling us he planned to refill the table after we left. The food is unfortunately not good unless you are into rubber bacon or super salty biscuits n gravy. Also barely warm waffles. Not sure that anyone really cares about what they are producing or the locals have set the bar low for quality. Nice eggs up location. It has a bigger outdoor seating area than the one in Spartanburg. The Spartanburg location's indoor seating is a lot larger so I guess it evens out. As for the food, it's what I expected. It's up to Eggs Up standards (which is great). read more

I was CRAVING grits, bacon and buttered toast after a gastro procedure. Eggs Up Grill provided that in short order. Although is was cool and windy, we chose to dine outside. Christine was our server and was friendly, helpful and delightful. She kept our coffee and water topped off! This location is the most disappointing of the ones in the Greenville area. Food is adequate. I appreciate that they offer gluten free pancakes. They taste pretty good. The eggs and bacon weren't great. The coffee isn't great but don't bother with the specialty coffees-- it's from a machine like you'd see at a cheap hotel breakfast. Service is friendly enough. The place had a nice crowd, but we were seated quickly, without a reservation. Our server came by quickly to drop off our waters and take out drink orders. She soon after dropped off our 2 cups of house coffee. Unfortunately, I did not like the coffee, it was just weak and watery. We also asked our server for some straws and utensils, but she must have gotten distracted because it took awhile to make it back to the table. We reviewed the pretty extensive menu. There were plenty of sweet and savory options to choose from. Wifey decided to get the Banana Pudding French Toast and I decided on the SouthWest Skillet. We were enjoying the music while we waited for about 30+ mins for the food to arrive. This was slow to arrive for my taste. Wifey loved her french toast and I loved my skillet. The food was the highlight of this visit. While we were waiting for the check, I noticed a young man, clearing the tables after the guests left, dropped a fork on the floor. I had been reading about the Eggs Up Grill in my hometown so as I was leaving Greenville after the Highland Games, I was happy to try it out. it was fairly disappointing. Though some of the entrees were tasty, the service was pretty bad. My son ordered chicken fried steak and eggs-delivered to the table with no eggs or gravy. We politely asked our waitress to bring the eggs and some gravy - it never appeared. Asked for straws- no straws. Waited forever for the check after we asked for it.
