Mehhh. We went to the host stand and the hostess had her back facing us. She was rude and sat us. We sat and sat and we wondered why we weren't being greeted yet. I finally stopped someone and she said that she was supposed to be our server but didn't know she was supposed to be our server because nobody told her. Thought it was odd since most places have their own sections and why does someone need to tell you?? Service was less than par. Food came out quick and it was cold. I would not come here again.

Food was pretty good, although eggs were overcooked. Our server did a good job, but the manager who greeted us seemed angry to be there. One of the workers came by our table and dumped extra butter and creamers on the table, telling us he planned to refill the table after we left. It would have been nice if he had waited until we finished our breakfast. The restaurant is fairly clean, but tired-looking and the vibe is not friendly at all. Greenville has much better options so do your research and go there instead.

Delicious breakfast at Eggs Up in downtown Greenville. Service and food was great and highly recommend if you're in the area. (Get here early on the weekend- it fills up quickly and understandable why)!

Non assuming little place with excellent food. I had the classic Benedict with grits. It was delicious. Eggs poached perfectly. Grits were ok, but let's face it, and I am southern, grits need love. I added bacon and it was perfectly cooked. I had the latte, it was heaven in a cup. This place makes me wish I lived closer.

This place was amazing and delicious. This was the best way to end a fun girls trip to Greenville. You will not be sorry if you give this place a try. Our waitress was awesome too - I wish I could remember her name . Oh and the biscuit and gravy .... OMG. Yummy

It was SO good I devoured it.

I was CRAVING grits, bacon and buttered toast after a gastro procedure. Eggs Up Grill provided that in short order. Although is was cool and windy, we chose to dine outside. Christine was our server and was friendly, helpful and delightful. She kept our coffee and water topped off! We learned that the less than attractive interior is about to undergo INTENSE remodeling--and not a minute too soon, I must add.

Sorry the steak is gone lol and it was excellent

Right by Fluor Field with a fun, lively vibe. We sat outside, which was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to hang out before an event. Service was fantastic. David, our server, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and really helped elevate the experience. For food, we started with the wings (dry rub and Jamaican jerk). The flavors were decent, but the wings themselves were rubbery and a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. One standout though... the ranch dressing. Easily some of the best I've had. The breakfast tacos were good overall, and the chimichurri was fresh and flavorful. I think adding a creamy component would have taken them up another level. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. The chicken and biscuit was decent. The Nashville-style chicken had good flavor, but the tenders were on the smaller side, making the portion feel a bit lacking. The biscuit itself was solid. The tallow fries were also well done, and the Lefty's sauce was a nice addition. One unique touch at the end. You're given the option to send a postcard, and they handle the postage and mailing for you. A really fun and memorable detail. Overall, a good spot with great service and atmosphere, though some of the food execution and portion sizes could be improved.

After spending the day downtown, we went back to refresh and headed over to Coupe's Corner for the evening. When we first pulled up and saw a line outside, we almost changed our minds. Thankfully, we stayed because the line moved surprisingly fast. We probably waited no more than 10 minutes, and we even met some really nice people while waiting. Once inside, we quickly realized the space is much larger than it appears from the outside. In addition to the indoor area, there's a patio space in the back that gives you even more room to enjoy the atmosphere. It was definitely crowded, but in a good way. The energy was great, the crowd was mature and age-appropriate, and the overall vibe was exactly what we were looking for. The music was on point, with different music playing inside and outside, giving guests options depending on their mood. The drinks were phenomenal, and our bartender was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Although they serve food, we didn't get a chance to try it because the kitchen was closing for the night. Since they're located downtown and close at midnight, the kitchen closes accordingly. However, our bartender shared that they're opening a second location that will stay open later, which means longer kitchen hours as well. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming. Service, atmosphere, music, and drinks were all top-tier. The only minor thing worth mentioning is that the hallway connecting the indoor and outdoor areas is a bit narrow and can become congested, especially since it's also where the restrooms are located. Overall, this place gets a solid 10 out of 10 from me. Great service, great drinks, great music, and an amazing atmosphere. The vibe was absolutely vibing, and I would definitely return the next time I'm in Greenville.

It's the perfect mix of laid-back and upscale, whether you're there for date night, girls' night, or just to treat yourself. Let's talk about the drinks because whew the key lime pie martini was everything. Sweet, smooth, and dangerously good. And the strawberry cheesecake shot? Baby. Dessert in a glass! You can tell they put thought into their cocktail menu. Now the food? Chef's kiss. The glazed shrimp had the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the seared ahi tuna was fresh and flavorful. But those maple sautéed Brussels sprouts? I could've ordered a second plate just for myself. I also love that they switch it up with events, R&B nights are a whole mood, and if you catch them on a Wednesday, the outdoor patio is the perfect spot to unwind. Overall, Coupes Corner delivered on food, drinks, and energy. Definitely a spot I'll be back to whenever I'm in Greenville!

It is found tucked behind the building with only a small, letter-sized paper sign marking the entrance. No flashy signage, no obvious storefront, which adds to the appeal if you're into that kind of hunt. Walking up to it late at night can be a little intimidating but it is well lit which I greatly appreciated! Once inside, the space is dimly lit and small, which makes for a genuinely intimate setting. I'd say it's good for a quieter, more conversational vibe rather than a loud night out. We went with the bartender's choice: pick a base liquor, then two words to describe what you're after. I went with vodka and "slightly sweet, refreshing," for $18. The bartender nailed the brief but it wasn't a drink I'd think about again or specifically order by name. Solid execution, forgettable flavor. Service was the real standout. Our bartender was excellent at walking us through the concept and translating vague requests into something that actually worked. That, plus the atmosphere, is enough to bring me back to see what else is on the menu since we made it there just in time for last call so I ended up only having one drink.

She suggested many different add ons and I chose the creamed corn. My only suggestion would be offering a smaller portion of this dish at lunch. It was delicious and I am glad we tried it. The ribeye sandwich and truffle fries were both exceptional. Having had she crab soups at different NC and SC restaurants, I thought theirs was just ok. They own a grocery store up north, have very high expectations when it comes to food, and we've always felt confident recommending Hall's. Unfortunately, this visit was incredibly disappointing. While our last couple of experiences had some service issues, the food and drinks had remained consistently good. This time, however, both the service and the food missed the mark. We waited nearly two hours for our meals to arrive. Every steak at our table was ordered either rare or medium rare, yet every single one came out well done. Not only were they overcooked, but they were also tough and cold! Under normal circumstances, we would have sent them back, but after waiting two hours and dining with children, we didn't feel like we had much of a choice but to eat them. A manager stopped by our table, but instead of asking how everything was or acknowledging the obvious issues, he simply asked if he could bring us anything else. There was no apology, no attempt to make things right, and no offer to comp any part of the meal despite the excessive wait and improperly cooked food. When we later asked for the manager to come back because we wanted him to know how disappointed we were, the response was to send us home with dessert. We all politely declined because we didn't want dessert--it wasn't the issue, and it would have gone to waste. For a restaurant with Hall's reputation and prices, we expected much better. It was embarrassing to have recommended it so highly to family, only to have this be their experience. We sincerely hope this was an isolated incident, but after multiple disappointing visits, we will take our $900.00+ dining elsewhere!!!!

Really good food that we enjoyed thoroughly. Very interesting menu-fusion of many cuisines featuring many ingredients that found their way into places one would not expect. With happy results! I had the salmon moussaka. The salmon was delicious-slightly blackened. Great quality salmon. Paired nicely with the lovely tzatziki and accompanied by salad heavy with toasted garbanzos and mucho quinoa, 'cukes, endive-heavy greens and a spot on bright dressing. Sister had black bean burger on dressed bun that was accompanied by perfectly prepared steak fries with house made ketchup that had a slight heat to it. Really good as well. Kitchen staff nailed the preparation and everything came out perfectly. First meal out in Greenville (as we cook). I could not have been more pleased. Great value for the price. Certainly not inexpensive, but not outrageous. I will definitely be "stealing" this moussaka dish and presentation for my wife the minute I return home!
