Half Croque Monsieur (we split)

Love that they are dog friendly and offered a puppy patty! Service was quick and friendly. Croquet Monsour was fine but the fries were excellent

Parisian Brunch at Passerelle Bistro overlooking Falls Park in downtown Greenville. There was a 35 min wait to eat outside so we decided to eat inside. Our waitress was friendly and gave excellent recommendations. The French martini was my favorite and the sauce on the mussels was incredible! Plenty of street parking available and we enjoyed walking by the water after our meal. Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and the food was absolutely delicious. We had duck and steak and the escargot. Which my wife would never try normally but she said it was one of the best things she has ever had. I also am not a bread pudding fan but theirs with the fresh croissant is one of my favorite desserts now. The service was amazing as well with them treating us to dessert after finding out it was our honeymoon. Truly thankful as it helped make it an even more special experience. Now the vibes were perfection as well. Being able to hear the river and being right downtown outside allowed us to watch everyone enjoying their time and it was just wholesome all in all. Make sure you go here and have the bread pudding you won't regret it!!

I was in Greenville for a conference and wanted to explore downtown. It was a beautiful afternoon so I sought out a restaurant with outdoor dining and after reading reviews for Passerelle Bistro I thought it would be the perfect spot. I made a reservation for one at 7:30 PM on a Friday, so I thought I might get snubbed taking a table for just myself on a popular night. I felt that the staff was more than welcoming and even saw another person dining alone, so don't be nervous to go alone! My waitress brought me a couple wine samples when I couldn't decide and was very friendly to me. I started with the crunchy bread, which is from a local bakery. This was probably my favorite part of the meal. My main course was the steak frites, which was just okay. The cut of meat was pretty tough and my potatoes felt undercooked a bit. I got the creme brulee for dessert which was also average. The food wasn't the best but the ambiance and service was on point. They stayed busy so it is definitely a popular establishment in Greenville.

Loved, loved, LOVED this place! Cannot say more good things about it- perfect spot to dine near the Falls. Service was quick and prices were inexpensive. Most importantly, food was delicious. A must if you're in town!

Pros: Dim lighting inside Cute presentation Food is slightly above average Good location Cons: Expensive considering the quality and easiness to prepare the food Food is not amazing, but still good I'm interested in trying this place out during dinner instead of brunch. The drinks were good, but overpriced considering the simple ingredients. The food is good (but not wow amazing) and filled everybody up. Thin mint cheesecake was 6/10. We all agreed that the middle layer just wasn't that good, but the topping and the crust were yummy.

The mussels were delicious and my husband loved his chicken salad croissant. The setting is picturesque. I'd you sit on the patio you can see the river and listen to the falls. Service is warm and friendly, and we had a wonderful special lunch here.

Husband brought me to this beautiful spot located in downtown Greenville. Highly recommend having a reservation for quick seating, they do allow walk ins. Service was impeccable. We got seated on the patio with probably the best view at the restaurant. The day we went we heard someone playing live music outdoors which added to the ambiance. Food is heavy so come hungry. There are lighter options to eat on the menu. If food coma hits, the restaurant is situated right along the pathways so one can walk off the calories.

We had such a wonderful time here! The weather was so nice, a perfect day for brunch! On the walk to the restaurant, at the bottom of the stairs, there was a troubadour playing songs we all know and l love. Then at the restaurant we were greeted with a smiling face and immediately sat at a table overlooking the falls. There was a bit of a chill in their air but the space heaters balanced that out. I ordered a latte with Baileys and my husband got an Irish Coffee. We were also served waters with our own carafe which is always appreciated! For our meal, there were so many enticing options on the menu, it was hard to narrow down. But ultimately we decided on the following: Crispy Goat Cheese phyllo, blueberry & lavender jam, candied walnuts, citrus gel Parisian Ham & Gruyere Omelette* pickled red onions, dressed green salad French Toast Monte Cristo ham, brie, blueberry & lavender jam, brioche french toast, powdered sugar, frites Everything was delicious! Afterwards we took a stroll across the bridge back and got lots of great pictures!

We made reservations for 7 for brunch before heading to peace center. We were seated right away. Started with the croissant and fruit basket. The croissants were soft and buttery and the fig jam complimented it well. For entree ordered the monte cristo with disco fries. The monte cristo was good great balance between savory and sweet. Fries were seasoned well and enjoy the hollandaise and cheese on the fries. Would definitely return.

Visiting the area on a Monday for lunch. Tables by the edge already reserved so no looking at the waterfall. But we had a nice table with a nice breeze. Our waitress was Dianne and she was very good, attentive and friendly. Had red pepper soups, salad with shrimp, Grilled Cheese that came with salad and tomato soup and the Croque Monsieur with French fries. All the food was tasty. I would have not had the grilled cheese on such a thick bread and my salad needed just a touch more dressing. The cup of soup is large. We thought it was a bowl of soup. The croque monsieur was good but it did not appear to have been grilled and very little ham. Yet, again, the food was tasty. The atmosphere is what sold us. And we appreciated the waitress attention to detail. My brother had a French Martini and it was yummy. Total cost for three people (two had water) was $84 plus a tip. 6/17/24

Miss you Jennie! Happy Birthday.

Bouillabaisse any good?

I didn't try the bouillabaisse there. Given that we're in South Carolina and have access to great shellfish, oysters, and other fish that they would do a good job creating this dish. Worth a try, I think!

The location on Main Street (in the former Lemongrass space, I believe) is charming and comfortable, though seating can feel a bit tight unless you're lucky enough to get a booth. The atmosphere is lively but intimate. Food-wise, the salad and entrées were very good, and service was attentive throughout the evening. That said, I did leave slightly underwhelmed given the expectations that come with a Michelin-starred restaurant. One small surprise was seeing entrées served with fries as a standard--it felt a bit more casual than anticipated. Overall, it was a nice dining experience and worth trying, especially if you're into Michelin-recognized spots.

I started with a Straffe Hendrik Quad, which was chefs kiss. It was a yummy treat to start the meal off with and be transported into being in Belgium. Not pictured was the charcuterie board and Brie appetizers that were all split and devoured. What was documented was the roasted duck breast with potatoes and asparagus. The duck was roasted perfectly with the skin, crispy for the texture and seasoned divinely. Yall the potatoes were crispy on the outside, well fluffy like little clouds inside, and had a punch of flavor. The asparagus was rich with a butter and lemon note. If a plate could sing! Zero notes. 10/10. My only draw back was I needed a pillow after the meal. Stuffed was I.

Table of 4, we got 3 appetizers and I wasn't impressed by any of them. The baked Brie wasn't gooey enough, the Buffalo oysters had rocks, and the ham/cheese croquet-ehh-- too much mustard and just not worth it. For dinner we got the mussels, the steak and a fish and chips. Every meal is served with a side of fries and 3 options of mayo. The plain mussels were very bland. I was hoping for a deeper richer garlic white wine sauce but it was underwhelming. My friend got the coconut curry mussels and complained that the mussels tasted frozen and weird, but she liked the broth. Another friend complained her steak's pepper sauce was way too strong- I tried it and agreed. Fish and chips seemed fine. Light and Crispy if you're into that. We didn't get dessert. I had a Moscow mule which was decent but also pretty icey. Overall I'd return solely for drinks. I felt underwhelmed by the food, given the expectations and previous reviews. We paid separately and I think my bill was like $60. Eh?
