Just finished breakfast. One of the first customers there at 6:30 AM on a Sunday. Only one other table, and my future server, who was eating breakfast at the counter. I sat a few seats away from her. I immediately noticed that the counter was not wiped down, which is pretty gross since I must've been the first customer sitting there. There was remnants of eggs, coffee grounds and it was sticky from syrup, likely from at least the day before. I asked the server to wipe it down and she did. Service was good, as expected with no one else there. Coffee was hot and regularly refilled. I usually go with an eggs Benedict type breakfast since hollandaise sauce is too complicated to make at home. I ordered the Benedict Hash with a side of home fried potatoes I asked for a little drizzle of hollandaise sauce on the potatoes. The food came rather quick again as expected since nobody else was there. The Hollandaise sauce was rather nasty and the potatoes were doused in it. I know it's not easy to make, but it was grossly chunky and dark yellow. The corned beef hash itself was inconsistent, with a ton of rubbery pieces that were inedible. Yes, I realize corn beef hash is not the highest cut of meat, but this was beyond nasty . Luckily there wasn't anyone there to notice me pulling rubbery food out of my mouth throughout my breakfast. Breakfast for one, including tip, came to $20 even. I doubt I'll be back, but there was very little open at this hour on a Sunday. If I do, I'll try something else on the menu. Hot coffee and an early opening gets this one from one star to two. read more

My friend has been here before and suggested this place for lunch. She really likes it but I was underwhelmed. Super cute and clean inside and our waitress was good, but I didn't care for the food at all. I got the Coastal Crab Cake Benedict with grits. I didn't even see any crab cake, just some very dark colored pieces of crab. The hollandaise sauce didn't have the pop of lemon that it should have. But my biggest complaint is that it tasted super fishy to the point that I was nervous about eating it. My grits weren't very creamy and didn't have much flavor. My friend got Three Little Deuces and thought hers was just fine. read more

The servers are very friendly and the food was amazing! I really like the atmosphere. It's clean and charming. You can sit at the breakfast counter or in a table or booth. There's plenty of seating, but the place gets very busy because the food is so good. read more

Really was hoping this restaurant would be one of my favorites, but unfortunately the food changed my mind. Corn beef hash was burned, too tough to eat. grits were cold; butter would melt. Decided I could do this poorly at home without the extra costs. Hubby had a regular breakfast of eggs and toast. Toast was cold and piled with non melting butter. Menu offered dark roast coffee. None was prepared at 11 AM on a Sunday. Server seemed too busy to start a pot. Kitchen service was slow. Heard customers around me asking about their order. The restaurant seems to attract local traffic on weekends. We had to wait 20-30 minutes for a table, but the hostess did her best to seat the waiting crowd. It's great to be busy, but management has to train staff how to survive being busy in order to stay alive. read more

Just went to this restaurant in Rome. Waited at the front to be seated about 5 minutes. I know the waitress saw us but she was doing everything thing she could to ignore us. We encountered this problem about 2 years ago and didnt come back for a very long time. When we finally returned a year ago, a very exuberant head waitress got things order. Over the last few months we noticed she was gone and the quality of service has declined dramatically. We will not be back this time! read more

We stopped in after a weekend retreat. It's a smaller venue but the ambiance was nice. We sat in our car waiting for them to message our table was ready which was less then the 15 min quoted as we could see they were very full. I'm e say, quickly greeted, drink order came fast, food ordered and delivered perfect- lots of food as we added the $4 grill offer to get eggs and a meat of your choice (sausage or bacon). We took leftovers home we had so much. We got checked out and headed on our way nice and full with great food and service. I thought I snapped a photo of the food but can't find it. We went to the newly opened Eggs Up Grill today for a late breakfast. The service was very good, especially considering they have only been opened a short time with a new and mostly fresh staff. We got there around 11:45 and the place was packed but they were quickly turning tables around so the wait wasn't very long. The wait staff was very friendly and efficient. My wife had a made-to-order omelet and a small bowl of fruit on the side. She loved it all and said it all tasted very fresh and was delicious. I had the two eggs, two pancakes, two pieces of bacon platter and it was OK. The eggs were very fresh and perfect and the bacon was smoky and delicious. The pancakes were about a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. They were very heavy, tough and lacked a true buttermilk pancake quality. It was much easier to cut them with a knife than trying to just use the fork. I would rate Cracker Barrel pancakes at a 9 out of 10, Stake and Shake at around a 6, IHOP at a 5, so there is no way I will have these again. The coffee was outstanding and they kept our cups full. Aside from the pancakes, there were many other things on the menu that also looked good to me so a failure on the pancakes is minor. I am positive that we will be there again. read more

Quaint little breakfast place that must be quite popular with locals as it was quite busy on a Monday morning. We ordered red-white-blue waffles and a Texas Farmhouses Omelette minus the home fries and sausage gravy on the side. My daughter loves her waffles and the omelette packed some punch with those pickled jalapeños! For my taste I'm glad I had the sausage gravy on the side as it wasn't "my thing". The omelette was more like a fried egg wrapping the fixings, which is a little different than I'm used to when it comes to omelettes as they are usually more "fluffy". Unfortunately, this was not what I had hoped. I am always excited whenever a new restaurant comes to town; especially something new I've never heard of. I called my order in at 11:16 am and was told it would be 15 minutes. I got there at 11:37 am. When I walked in, there were no labeled areas for where pickups should go, everyone was in a jumbled mess. I waited for about 2 minutes and finally someone greeted me and I told them i was there to get my pickup order. She said that the employee on the phone would get with me, yet she never told the employee what I needed. The employee on the phone then walked away. I eventually flagged a waitress down and told them my issue. She ended up coming back 4 times and asking me questions about my order, indicating it was lost. Finally they located the order. I finally got my food at 12:31 pm. Over an hour later. There were other people with to go orders waiting for over an hour as well. I got home with my food. The omelet was undercooked, popped open and filled with the WRONG ingredients. The brunch bowl had hair in it. I threw the food away because I'm definitely not eating hairy food and the omelet was stuff that we can't eat. I called the restaurant and asked for a manager. They told me they would call later In the day to issue a refund. No call. I called back, no answer. I thought maybe they'd call the next day, but they didn't. The lady that I spoke to on the phone (named Karen, ironically) began to make numerous excuses and never offered a solution to the issue. It's been 3 days and still no refund, no call, no correspondence. And to top it all off, the restaurant was so packed there was NO social distancing and I'm fairly certain they were over code. Recently, one Saturday morning, my wife and I went to 'Eggs Up Grill' in Rome, Georgia. We ordered breakfast and one mimosa each. After waiting for our food for over an hour, my wife asked the waitress how long she anticipated before we would receive our food. The waitress responded that before our arrival, they had an onslaught of people to serve, and the kitchen was recovering from the crowd. Nevertheless, our food would be coming soon. The waitress asked my wife if she could refill her mimosas while she waited for her food since I hadn't touched my drink. My wife responded that our drinks should be on the house based on the time we'd been waiting. The waitress agreed and said she would ask her manager. The manager came over to our table and told us that we had to pay for our drinks and explained to my wife that the kitchen was backed up. I told my wife to let's pay for the drinks and leave. Although my wife and I did not get an opportunity to sample their dishes, I believe this restaurant lacks etiquette and is poorly managed. read more

Dont recommend this place. we are vii from Florida and ordered avocado toasts with over easy eggs. the avocado toast is not real avocado. it's a spread of very acid guacamol and not fresh salsa on top. not even edibl. I had a bite and had to return the meal. the eggs (which is supposed to be the best thing on the menu) were not even made correctl. ordered over easy and the yolk was comp hard. very disappointed with the service, as we asked to remove the meal from the check (because I couldn't eat it) server without experience, no refill on water, no idea of the menu, asked several questions about steak, grits, and didn't have any knowledge (not even willing to ask other employee). talked to manager and she has no idea how to manage situations with clients. very disappointed read more

We ate at Eggs Up Grille on 3/6 and were completely satisfied. The restaurant was appealing when we walked in. It was warm and inviting. The hostess sat us and was friendly. Our server, Champagne was fun, friendly and even teased with us. The food was amazing. I had the Farmer Omelette. Wowza!!!
