Came across this cafe by accident. Cafe is attached to a music store which was a cool touch. Welcomed as soon as we entered on a busy lunchtime. My friends love this place so I went with them to try it out. It was Sunday brunch and I had the Trucker's Special but substituted the hash browns for grits. The cheese n the grits was added by the cook and not requested, which was a plus in my eyes. I didn't think anything on the menu was overpriced. Service was a hair slow but the food made up for it. My friends got 2 different kinds of salads, both which looked super appetizing (one got the salmon, the other got shrimp and both loved it.) read more

Some friends and I decided to visit this restaurant for brunch. The ambience is very nice and retro. There's even a cute little wreck store attached to the restaurant service was quite nice and friendly. We chose to dine outside and the ambience was great there as well, I got the Cuban sandwich which was pretty decent and everyone else got the bohemian burger, which was a 10 out of 10. Met a friend there for brunch on Sunday with only a 20 minute wait. My husband and I split the hangover burger and it was very good. They had a nice beer menu as well. Great service, good apps and great grilled shrimp. Like someone else here, I passed and turned around after I stopped and read the yelp reviews I thought I would give it a try. I was not disappointed. I sat at the bar and the tender was quite attentive. I wish I could remember her name to call her out as a great server and one to ask for, she did have fairly short dark hair. Go in and order the grilled shrimp and you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was excellent as well.

Overall food is great here, especially brunch! One of my favorite brunch spots in Greenville to be honest. However, I feel like service has been slipping lately. It feels like they don't have enough staff or at least attentive staff for how popular they are. I don't have a picture, but my favorite dish to get is the breakfast blt and a side of sweet potato fries, but you can see I've tried other things as well. For those who can partake in Bloody Marie's they have a make-your-own bloody mary bar! Mimosas are great! Overall, get there right at 11 am when they open for the best chance at getting a seat to avoid a wait. read more

I was feeling a bit out of norm and passed on the steak, but 2 friend ordered skirt steak and said it was top notch. I went with the chicken curry, guys I tell you, I ate it all and wanted more! On the way to the airport in Spartanburg, it was recommended that we stop by The Bohemian for breakfast.  The place was packed when we arrived, but there was one table left for us.  We went very simple getting an omelet and hash browns and fried eggs, bacon a pimento cheese grits. Excellent taste, very quick service. They have a few different benedicts including traditional, salmon and a country choice.  They also offer a requisite in the South, biscuits and gravy as well as shrimp and grits.  Saw french toast at the table next to us, huge portion. Independent, family-owned business operating a peak efficiency and super friendly.  Definitely worth a visit. read more

Saw a video review of this place and we decided to check it out. Service was great greeted as we entered and waitress checked on us frequently. We started with the duck spring rolls and duck wings both were delicious. Enjoyed the sauce on the wings. For entree I went with chicken Mediterranean Chermoula style. The chicken was season well the orzo was very bland. I'd probably pick a different cuisine style or one of the specials next time. For dessert went with the chocolate maple bacon cake. Generous slice it was moist and maple and bacon always compliment each other well. I'd definitely return. read more

Honestly, I really wanted to like this place because I've heard great things and it always looks packed. We took some friends here that were visiting in town for brunch. With Horizon Records attached to this restaurant, you'll have half a day's outing looking at vintage equipment, vinyl, and cds. Nice spot, tucked away on the corner of Stone and Main. There are soups, salads, sandwiches and a variety of entrees for lunch. We had the salad and delicious soup of the day special and both were wonderful. The service was excellent. We were there well after the lunch crush so there was no line, no waiting, and prompt service. I've also been there for brunch and the Country Benedict with sausage instead of Canadian Bacon was excellent. We did think the house white wine was a bit pricey at $8 a glass. Had lunch here with Dad today, and enjoyed our meal. He had the NY Pastrami and I tried out the Cuban sandwich. The staff was polite, and the lunch crowd filled up quickly after noon, so if you're in a hurry maybe try to eat before 12. For two sandwiches and a soda, it was about $25 for two people to eat lunch, which isn't bad. The restaurant is also attached to a record shop, and you can walk right over to peruse the vinyl without having to go outside, which is pretty cool. Sometimes you just get lucky, driving back to Indiana from Hilton Head we got stopped at a red light next to the Bohemian Cafe. Hungry and looking for a unique place to eat, we circled the block and went in. Welcomed as we walked in by several servers, you start to see we made a good choice, as we sat I noticed the very nice napkins. Not cheap paper ones - good quality, next look at the desserts and the drink specials. Home run here anyway you look at it. Made us want to stop for the day and stay. We had a Rueben and the El Cubano and the pork and vegetable soup. Delicious food complimented by the friendly and efficient servers. So glad we got stopped by the red light. We were told to come back next time thru town. Said we would, server told us she would be there. How nice. Great collection of vinyl and cds in the shop next door too. read more

The food is consistently good and the setup of the menu (that allows you to mix any protein with the main dishes) gives a great range of options. If you enjoy something with a little heat, but still very good flavor, I'd recommend the Salmon with Singapore Percik Barbeque style. No matter what you order, we love to start with the House Chippers and finish the meal with one of Jen's cakes to go! For lunch my choice is the Grilled Salmon Salad. If the weather is nice, I love to grab a spot on the patio. Finally, the owners and the staff are incredibly kind & welcoming people. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem. The food was amazing, service was quick and amazing. I got the biscuits and gravy as well as the burrito. Both were amazing and I would come back and get them again! Only negative was there is not a baby changing table in the restrooms so we had to change our newborn in our car trunk. So I feel bad, but I didn't like the food, and we're talking appetizers. More like they made me lose my appetite. Couldn't eaten the hummus at all. Threw it out. Store packaged hummus is way better. My goodness, don't know what on earth they put in it. Was able to eat the salad with salmon, but was weird. The dressings I wasn't crazy about. One was like a teriyaki altho the description was of salmon with bbq sauce. Why turn it Japanese? Salad dressing I have no idea what flavor. Ate it, but didn't really like it. Also, don't make appetizers the size of a meal. Geez. Then make it cheaper and cut it in half. I would've had no room to order an entree, let alone a dessert. read more

This place has changed a lot and NOT in a good way, it has gone from having a long waiting line out the door to half an empty restaurant on a weekend night. I think we know why, the Mojitos we got there tonight were terrible, just club soda water, lime juice and mint, missing the main ingredient, there was NO RUM. The bartender insisted she had added the rum but we were a party of four, and none of us could taste not even a hint of rum in these Mojitos. In addition, the wait for the food was very long and then to top it off, we were charged the full price of the Mojito, when it should have been a full credit or at the most a charge for a soft drink. Your Manager should learn how to keep the customers happy, especially when your restaurant is half empty. As a Cuban, I know how a Mojito should taste. I will never come back to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone. There are many other great and wonderful restaurants in Greenville where we can spend our hard earned money and have an enjoyable dinning experience. read more

I'm somewhat of a Greenville local...a seasonal local. I fly up a couple times a year to see family and find that I stumble upon a new place (new to me anyway) each time. This Thanksgiving holiday, My Airbnb happened to be a few feet away for the very cool record shop. The record shop opens into The Bohemian. It seemed clear from the outside the the cafe was lively and happening. Indeed. I had two fantastic experiences. On one night I placed an order for pick up. The menu has a great amount of variety which works for choosy vegetarian Lou. The server who took my order was so friendly, like...warm and open and patient! Love that. They won a customer right then. I ordered a veggie burger wrapped in lettuce(like every SoBe mum) and a few lovely accessories. Can't beat bleu cheese crumbles on the side. It was ready for pick up in the promised 15 minutes and it was delish! Really flavorful! The following night I had a seat at the bar. Devin was welcoming and friendly, managing the bar and orders while engaging everyone in festive chat. I was impressed with the vibe he cultivated. Despite being one of the few(the only?) out of town person, there was a really warm tone which lent itself to open sharing and conversation. We've driven by this place many times and finally stopped! The name alone captured my attention. When I reviewed the menu, I knew it was worth a try. It has meat options for my husband and vegetable, Gluten-free options for me. The atmosphere was not as boho as I thought (expecting string lights and mixed patterned and colors 8 guess) but making the most out of old stuff definitely qualifies. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and obviously gets along well with each other. The food was good. The homemade chips were great! I got the eggplant dish minus the bread. It was good, not great but still hit the spot. Hubby got the Cuban sandwich and also liked it and ate it all up. The bread seemed soft. He wasn't raving about it but liked it well enough. He had a beer from MI (where he grew up) and enjoy that. They had a nice variety of beers from several states. We both thought the chips alone were well worth the meal and it was nice not to have to order them separate from our meals. They prices were great too.
