Located in the Peery Hotel building, we had breakfast here when we stayed at the hotel. The menu is really expansive with lots of options. I had a breakfast chorizo bowl. My coworker and I both left full and happy. Decor is bright and cheery, and the service was friendly. My only complaint was that when the server (who brought the food but did not take order) brought my food, she hit my glass of orange juice and sloshed a fair amount onto the table. This wasn't a big deal. Accidents happen. The problem was that she ignored it. I eventually had to ask the waitress for extra napkins to clean up the mess. After the spill, a top off would have also been appreciated. Further, it would be nice if the restaurant and Peery Hotel could work out a discount for hotel guests. All in all, it's a good restaurant. I'd go back.

What is it with UT?!? So I wander into this cute little breakfast spot and want to eat at the counter , for breakfast mind you. The barista( not bartender) asks to scan my ID ?!? How weird is that?!? Anyway cute place , the restaurant chairs are a nightmare , the food was ok. ( in their defense ) I walked in right behind a party of 20 ( yup I said that at 7 am!!!) so I am fairly certain my food was lost in the shuffle . Anyway my server (Tita) was sweet and did her level best ( my expectations are low) the place is clean and worth a look . I feel like my experience was a "one off"

We returned to Eggsburgh following an event downtown. Things felt a bit different with both service and food - hoping it was just an off day.

It took a little while to be seated on a Saturday morning, which is expected. Not too expensive menu with lots of good options. Pancakes did leave a lot to be desired though they were presented nicely. Salmon Benedict was flavorful. Potatoes and eggs like seasoning, but would be willing to try again other menu items.

Eggsburgh delivers on its promise. The restaurant is bright, airy, and modern. This morning's hostess and waitress were friendly and cheerful. The menu offered a wide selection of breakfast dishes. I interpret this as a promise: I'm about to get a good breakfast, with good coffee and friendly service. That's exactly what I got. I ordered an egg white omelette, with hash browns and a side of fruit. The presentation was fine, the food and coffee were good, and my waitress kept my coffee topped up. In short, I'm a satisfied customer. Eggsburgh met my expectations. Note: This photo may seem weirdly cropped. I avoid taking photos with people in them if I don't have their consent. There was a decent crowd in the restaurant this morning. This is the only angle I could get without anyone in it.

Cute breakfast place inside the Peery hotel in downtown SLC. Perfect place to get your egg and pancake fix in the morning. They're open till 3 and also have great lunch options. Will definitely be back

Pardon the pun, but Eggsburgh is EGGS- ceptional. The food and the service are top-notch, and this will become a breakfast and brunch staple whenever I'm visiting SLC (which I would have known about it when I lived here)! First of all, the "Mix and Match" pancake and waffle flight is a genius option -- choose any three pancake or french toast options from the specialty menu -- we got the strawberry pancake, Danish blueberry pancake, and banana crunch french toast, and they were all terrific! The 2x2x2 meal with eggs, bacon, potatoes, and fresh fruit was also quite tasty! Additionally, the service was fast and attentive. We got our food within 10 minutes of ordering, and our server checked in multiple times throughout to ensure we were enjoying our food. Overall a 10/10 experience, and will happily return again!

A decent spot for breakfast, but it didn't quite wow me. The food is solid and the menu has some fun options, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. Portions were good, and the flavors were okay, just a bit inconsistent. Service was friendly enough, though a little slow at times. It's a fine place to grab breakfast if you're nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Solid menu, really good service and good food! I've come here two days in a row while staying at the Peery and I'm happy to go back tomorrow. Food came out really fast and tasted great!

If you're looking for a place to grab a bite to eat, I would definitely suggest stopping by and giving this place a try! After looking at the menu online and seeing the variety I knew I needed to see for myself and I was not disappointed. We had the sweetest server by the name of Alejandro who was very attentive and friendly. Now for the food, I got the lean and green along with an iced coffee which was so good! I honestly wish I had been able to eat everything but it just means I will have to come by again to try other things on the menu.

Second time is a charm. Had the omelet last time and it was overcooked. The 2x2x2 was excellent. Customer services great.

Thankfully, no reservation was needed but it was still really busy. We were able to get seating next to the window; however I do wish the spacing between tables were a little bit bigger, as it feels like everyone's in each other's conversations and forces you to be friends with your neighbors. Not ideal when you're on a date night or trying to be intimate with someone. For drinks, we were interested in trying something before ordering a bottle or a glass. I didn't realize that for a wine sampling like that, it was $3 bucks... We got just a glass, and I went for a custom cocktail. ON the bill, they call it a "bar roulette," and that ran me $20 bucks... yesh, but ok!!! Dinner choices for us were the Clam Chowder & Wagyu Steak. The claim chowder presentation was definitely unexpected as it didn't resemble a Soup as expected. The changing of menus so I was good and I was good to see a couple things still there, but also familiar with some of the new stuff that I saw being delivered did leave me scratching my head.

Lately this has been my favorite cheese on salad, and I was super ecstatic that they had this option for me. I walked in on a Thursday night without a ressy and was seated right away. Inside was busy and my server, Kori, promptly took my order as I already knew what I wanted. Another server brought my salad shortly after and garnished it with fresh black pepper. Kori checked in on me while I enjoyed my salad. I really enjoyed the vibes at this place and the kind staff/service. I parked in a paid lot across the street and it was no hassle coming here to dine.

I informed her that we had a reservation under my name, John, but she simply looked at her list, seemed annoyed, and told us to wait anyway. While we were waiting, we watched several parties of two arrive after us with reservations at 8:10, 8:15, and even 8:20, and they were seated before us. After waiting about 20 minutes, I went back to ask how much longer it would be. I was told it would be another 20 minutes. I reminded Carleigh that we had a reservation, and her response was, "Oh, you did?" She then asked for my full name and phone number, looked up the reservation, apologized, and immediately escorted us to a table that appeared to have been ready the entire time. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Reservations are made so guests don't have to wait behind people who arrive later. It felt like our reservation had been completely ignored until I spoke up a second time. Whether this was poor organization or a lack of attention, the level of service at the front desk was unacceptable. We came looking forward to a nice family dinner, but the experience started with unnecessary frustration and left a very poor first impression. I sincerely hope additional training is provided so this doesn't happen to other guests.

First off, the roasted beets might honestly be the best thing on the menu (which sounds ridiculous until you try them). They come with greens tossed in a dressing that is absolutely mouth-watering, I could eat a whole bowl of just the greens. Next was the mushroom toast, layered with the creamiest goat cheese spread that perfectly balances the earthy mushrooms. But the real showstopper was the pork belly. I've never had pork belly like this before. They serve it in these perfect little cubes and when you bite into one it literally bursts with flavor. It's paired with green apples, which might sound unexpected, but it's an incredible combination. If you've never had pork with green apples before, you're missing out, it's the perfect sweet, crisp contrast. We finished the night with beignets and an affogato. My affogato had butter pecan ice cream with a rich espresso poured over the top - simple and absolutely delicious. We were tended to by our server through out the night. 5 star service, 5 star food, and the restaurant was beautiful inside and out. Can't wait to sit out on the patio in the summer! Parking is all street parking, and during peak dinner hours it can definitely be hit or miss. We ended up parking a bit farther away and walking over. Service was a little messy during our visit, but I could also tell the staff was trying their best. It seemed like there was only one person taking orders and handling the front, and she looked pretty flustered on a busy night. I also suspect the kitchen may have been understaffed. For appetizers, we ordered the ravioli and the baguette au gratin. Both were delicious. The ravioli was definitely my favorite of the night. It was super rich and heavy, so sharing it was the right move. The baguette itself tasted good, but the cheese on top was cold and had already solidified. It felt like it had been premade and quickly assembled before serving. For our mains, we ordered the duck breast and the beef bourguignon. This is where I really started feeling like the kitchen was struggling a bit. Both dishes came out surprisingly fast, but unfortunately the duck, mashed potatoes, and even the gravy were cold. Not just cooled down, but genuinely cold like they had been sitting out for a while and not kept under a warming lamp. The beef bourguignon was the warmest dish we received, though even that was only lukewarm. The frustrating part is that the flavors were actually really good. The food itself was delicious, but the temperature of almost every dish really took away from the experience.
