My family and I came for breakfast. We are not locals. However, we were able to find this cute little breakfast spot way off the strip. I love this down home comfortable feeling. Their food was very good. Their service was friendly. In fact, our server was so sweet. We had all these different questions about menu items, and whether or not certain ingredients were inclusive in certain dishes. She went above and beyond to find out all of this information for us. I can't even begin to tell you how appreciative I was of all of this because I do have food, allergies, as well as other folks in my family. So, sometimes ordering from a restaurant where you're unfamiliar with their menu, it raises a lot of questions and concerns. She took all of them in stride and she was so quickly able to get answers for us. I know that I really appreciated that. Our waitress, unfortunately, I do not remember her name, made some really great recommendations. One of them, in fact, it was ordered by our table. It was delicious. I wasn't so sure about the combination of ingredients and what not but it really came together quite nicely. I really enjoyed their French toast. For whatever reason, on this trip to Vegas, I seem to have my heart set on French toast and trying French toast, dishes all over the city. This one was very good. It was light and fluffy. Nothing was overpowering or too sweet. It was just right. The restaurant is very clean. The servers are all very friendly. Parking is free and available in the lot just outside. Hopefully we will come and visit again.
If you're looking to escape the strip here's your spot less than three miles away. It's located in more of a residential commercial strip. Inside is bright and welcoming with some style and character. I tried the eggsplicit box and it lived up to its punny name. Bacon, poached eggs, spinach, micro greens, topped with a chipotle hollandaise sauce in a toasted cube of bread. The sauce was great, and I don't like hollandaise. I opted for fruit and the small brown had a nice variety of fresh fruit and berries, not just melon and strawberries like many places. The uniqueness of the box was what drew me to order it. I thought it was hollowed out and wondered what they did with the insides but I soon discovered it was smashed in the center to make rooms for the other items that made up the dish. At first I wasn't sure how to attack it but the steak knife sticking out of the top gave a clue. I cut a corner off, piercing the yolk of the perfectly poached egg and it immediately became a slightly (fun) messy to eat mashup of everything, including that great sauce. Maybe the best part was once the filling were gone, breaking off pieces of the perfectly golden bread box to sop up the remaining egg from the plate.
Before heading out of Vegas, I thought I would stop for breakfast at a local joint Checked out EGGscellent Breakfast & Lunch--a local favorite with a 4.8 on Google--and it did not disappoint. I got the Spicy Box, and this thing was no joke... basically built on what looked like a quarter loaf of grilled bread with Texas toast vibes The carne asada and chorizo were both top-notch Great little off-the-Strip spot if you're ever in Vegas and want a local favorite.
Food was amazing as also. My soup was packed with chicken and veggies. This is the second time Mark ordered the Mexican Benny. Also the croissant French toast. Our server was Alexis (?) very good with us. Of course the place was filling up once we arrived. The music and sounds of people have conversations is great.
Came through to Eggscellent and it definitely lived up to the name. Even though the place was packed (always a good sign), everything moved smooth. Walked in and was greeted right away, got seated, had a drink in hand, and placed my order all within 10 minutes. That kind of efficiency is rare. Shoutout to Ismael for top-tier service--attentive, quick, and made sure everything was on point the whole time. I ordered the Eggsplicit Box with country potatoes and it did not disappoint. Solid portions, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you're coming in hungry. The food was very tasty overall and I really liked the vibe of the restaurant--great energy all around. Only thing to note: there aren't any baby changing stations in the bathrooms, so keep that in mind if you've got little ones with you. If you're looking for a spot that's busy for a reason but still runs like a well-oiled machine, this is it. I'll definitely be back.
The food was excellent. The CFS was well made and breading stayed on. Gravy was good. Eggs were well cooked. The chilaquiles were also excellent. The taste was all there without the unnecessary spice. Only issue would be that of temperature. It was a bit cold. Maybe the dish sat too long before pickup. Which brings me to service. Very friendly but slow. We were asked for refill on coffee about one minute after served and then nothing for over 30 minutes. Overall I would say service was a miss, not because of the server, but because of the training. Ambiance was okay. Felt good and music okay and not too loud. Overall improve service and temperature and this would be 5 stars. For now can give 4. Also forgot to the toast and payment took way too long.
Went this morning around 11am. Such a cute atmosphere from the start. Welcomed in right away. Tons of workers. All busy. First thing I noticed was this cute painting in the wall. Then how clean this place was. I mean clean. The ceiling fans looked like they had just been cleaned. The vents were clean. "Where can you go eat that either of those are ever clean?" Nowhere but here for me, and I like to eat out. I really wanted to try a waffle but yet I also wanted an omelet. So I splurged and got both. My other half, ordered ham, eggs and pancakes. So, when food came out I was so excited. Look how good it looks?? It tasted better than it even looked. I mean, the waffle had the best flavor. The best little bit of crunch. My omelet was simple but delicious. I mean you can't go wrong. Looking at all the food being brought out looked incredible. I cannot wait to go back. I give them a 10. The presentation, greeting, taste, friendly, quick etc. everything was outstanding!!!!! Thank you for setting the bar so high, that I will only want to come visit your establishment.
The service was fine and the atmosphere was decent, but the food didn't really stand out. Unfortunately, the sausage biscuits and gravy were pretty disappointing -- the flavor was off and didn't taste fresh. To be honest it tasted like dog food and I had to spit it out. The rest of the meal was average, but nothing we'd go out of our way to come back for.
First of all, I have to give a huge shout out to whoever was the interior designer of this restaurant! The interior bright yellow color contrasted by the deeper wood tones gives this place such a cheerful vibe! There are quite a few plants inside, which give it a vacation in paradise atmosphere. There is also a wall mural of the Vegas Strip, which makes you feel like you are looking out from a restaurant down on the strip. Our waiter was Jose. He was familiar to my husband because he's recently taken to going to this place which is just around the corner from us. Jose gave us eggceptional service! I ordered the Ultimate D'Lox Benny with a side of cottage cheese. It was presented on my plate with an orange twist. They have freshly squeezed orange juice and it was a big sized glass! Delicious! The menu is extensive and it will take you a few minutes to decide what to eat. They also have a promo going where you can get a free short stack of pancakes or a croissant French Toast if you like and post for them on FB, Insta, & Tiktok. I will definitely be back again! I think I found a new favorite!
After a busy weekend and not much food, my friend and I woke up starving on our last day in Vegas and I'm so glad we found this spot. It was busy and we could tell this was gonna be delicious. I ordered the stuffed toast? All I remember was that there was carne asada, chorizo, and poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and MY GOD I'll be thinking about this for a while. My friend ordered the Mexican Benedict. We were both so happy - definitely a must try in Vegas!
Came here on New Years Day. Located a couple miles from the main strip in a small mall complex. Expect a small wait as the restaurant gets pretty busy during brunch hours. The food overall was good. Stuffed French Toast is definitely a unique highlight because they use croissant for the bread. The chicken was dry for the chicken stack but tasted great. Portions are relatively large and prices are pretty standard (15-17 dollars per person). Service is fast and friendly. Definitely will come back. Great breakfast option in Vegas.

Something new! In the area, yelp gave 4.9 stars, we will try them. Family environment. A lot of seating available. No wait when we arrived but a full house when we left. Parties of all sizes. A variety of options. Large portions. Food is seasoned. Everything comes with massive sides. read more

This place is always a great experience, from the food to the staff everything is always quality. I got the healthy avocado toast for something light with just the right amount of grains, The seven grain toast they use is very good though I do prefer eight grains, they did everything else so well it wasn't an issue. Always a pleasure to have Gina as awaitress she's nice and attentive, always checking to make sure you have everything you need. Also be hungry because huge portions. read more

I ate at Eggscellent while visiting Las Vegas and loved it so much I went back two mornings in a row! The first morning, I had the Farm Omelette with a side of fruit. It was absolutely fantastic--full of flavor and very filling. The spiced chicken gave it just the right kick, and the fruit was fresh and perfectly ripe. I really enjoyed every bite. The next morning, I tried the Healthy Avocado Toast, and it was also excellent. The combination of microgreens, pico de gallo, egg, and avocado spread worked so well together. I again ordered a side of fresh fruit, which was just as delicious and refreshing as the first day. Both times, the service was fantastic--my waiter was very friendly and attentive. I also had a fresh-squeezed orange juice that was bright, flavorful, and a perfect match for breakfast. I really enjoyed starting my mornings at Eggscellent. We had a fantastic first experience at Eggscellent. Our server was wonderful and walked us through the menu since it was our first time. There are plenty of options no matter what you're in the mood for. I had the Baja Chicken Hash Stack and it was delicious. The cheese omelette came loaded with cheese, and the Monte Cristo was enjoyable as well. As a tea drinker, I appreciated the large selection of teas they provided - an often overlooked section of the hot drink menu. Everything was reasonably priced as well. A truly a hidden gem for breakfast and lunch. We've been coming here for over two years, and it has become a special tradition for my husband and me every Sunday. The food is always amazing, comes out quickly, and never disappoints. Gina is hands down the best server--she's who we always ask for. She's attentive, friendly, and makes every visit feel special. Today we celebrated my husband's birthday here, and the service was exceptional. They even sang Happy Birthday, which made the moment even more memorable. The menu offers a huge variety of delicious options, and the ambience is warm and welcoming. Every visit feels just as great as the last. We decided to to come here after reading the reviews and this place did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was delicious. The food was great, the coffee was great, the juice was great and the service was excellent! Celeste gave us great recommendations and we were all pleased with our choices. I liked that the restaurant was busy but not crowded. We were also sat fairly quickly. We all agreed we would definitely return next time we're in town. Tried looking for a decent breakfast place not in a Hotel or the strip and found this about 15 min away from MGM Grand. food looked excellent and i was right it was great and prices were very respectable in todays inflated market. the waffles and pancakes and avocado toast was excellent, tried the bigger 1lb burger too, love it and it lived up to its expectations. read more

After staying a night in the area, I used Yelp to find a breakfast place. This was close by and had good reviews so I decided that it was worth a try. I'm glad I did. I like the wall art but the food and service were even better. I was brought coffee as soon as I asked and it was hot and fresh. I took my time reading over the menu--it's quite extensive. There is something for everyone. I tend to be an omelette or Benny person so I looked especially at those two areas. I decided to order the El Diablo omelette. Great choice. The omelette is filled with andouille sausage, red bell peppers, pepper jack cheese, and topped with avocado and a "hint" of blackened seasoning. You can see the seasoning in the photo. I got breakfast potatoes and marble rye toast. They also give you the option to add peppers and onions on the potatoes and I added that. Before the breakfast came, my server was there witha coffee refill. Then she brought the main event. It was a good tasting omelette. El Diablo suggests it's spicy, but it's not. I put some Cholula on the omelette and I made it extra Diablo. When I was finished, she asked if I wanted a coffee to go. I declined because I had another stop planned just up DI from the restaurant. Service was great, the food was very good, and the restaurant is a pleasant place with lots of fun wall art. One note: on the entrance, there is a sign on the door asking customers to pay in cash to avoid bank fees they must pay. I had the cash available so I paid that way. Normally I'd just put it on my card. Just be aware that they prefer cash. read more

The food here was very good but don't come here if you have plans to be somewhere later. It took at least 50 minutes after ordering for our food to come out, and I think our orders only came out earlier than it would have only because we asked our server about it, otherwise we might have needed to wait even longer. I ordered the EGGs Benny with Sausage and Hash Browns ($14.99). Both of the yolks in the benedicts were perfectly runny, and the english muffin on the bottom was toasted so well that it was still crispy even when it was saturated with the yolk. The hash browns were also good, but I personally would have liked them a bit crispier than they were. Our food took forever to come out but our server was very apologetic and was very accommodating to hold us over until our actual orders arrived. She was great and it wasn't her fault, but it was definitely frustrating to have to wait so long for 2 dishes. I would come back for the food, but only if I have time to kill and went early so that I don't end up absolutely famished before getting my food. read more

The staff were so so so friendly and helpful that even if the food were bad - which it wasn't - I would come back just because of that. The fruit I got with my eggs benny was super fresh. I also loved that they provided a little steak knife to cut through the muffin. I personally did not enjoy the hollandaise sauce but the meal overall was good. There's lots of seating and they were able to accommodate my group of 8 without reservation (They don't take reservations). read more

With a family of 8, finding a restaurant that can handle our eggstra-large crew isn't always easy, but Eggscellent eggsceeded our expectations! They served up eggceptional service and made sure we felt right at home. Being a family that loves to share and sample, we didn't hold back--we cracked into everything: Fruity Pebble French toast, farm omelet, Monte Cristo, avocado toast, chorizo hash, burger & fries, pancakes, stuffed French toast, and the Baja Chicken Hash Stash. Every single bite was eggquisite. The wait time? Shockingly short for a Saturday morning! After adding our name to the waitlist, we were seated in under 25 minutes--an eggcellent win when dining off the Strip. The fresh orange juice was eggstraordinary, and every dish was seasoned to perfection. Nothing took too long to arrive, making the whole experience feel as seamless as it was eggceedingly delicious. April was a great server ! So friendly and so much energy! I was craving a good breakfast and this place popped up on my Yelp . I've been doing the keto diet and coming to Eggscellent was literally the best choice! I was able to have a farm omelette with chicken breast, cheese, spinach, red peppers, and avocado with a side of cottage cheese. The music they were playing was pop hits and the lighting and vibe in the restaurant was really great. But most of all, my favorite part was my friendly server Celeste. Eggscellent is a fantastic spot for a breakfast and lunch. They serve breakfast and lunch meals crafted with the fresh ingredients . Everything is made fresh from scratch, and you can tell that's a high level of a breakfast/lunch place. Upon entering the place, we were surprised how spacious the restaurant is and how beautiful decor is, great for taking photos. It was energizing and relaxing at the same time. The food was served very quickly and it was delicious. We had: Chicken Finger B.L.T, Chacha Chicken Sandwich, Bigger Better Burger and Fresh Strawberry Crepes. Everything was delicious and the patty was perfectly cooked the way we liked it. The flavors were satisfying and the portions were great too. The service was exceptional, very attentive and friendly. If you're in the area and looking for a delicious breakfast with outstanding service, we highly recommend this breakfast spot. They are definitely worth visiting, you won't regret it. read more

Eggsellent Breakfast and Lunch is such a little gem! The place is absolutely charming - super clean, beautifully decorated, and just has the best cozy vibe. And the FOOD... wow everything is homemade and you can truly taste the love in every bite. Fresh, flavorful, and seriously delicious. Celeste was great! This is definitely one of those places you leave already planning your next visit. Definitely a 5-star spot all around! read more

Do they take reservations?
They do not take reservations. First come first served. Weekend morning are busiest. You can go and put your name in and ask for an estimated wait time, to be honest, it is worth the wait.
Do you have mimosas?
They do not sell any alcohol. But they have one of the best breakfast you eat in Vegas. You'll see when you get there because even though they don't alcohol, they are always packed.
Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like battered chicken that would cross contaminate foods like gluten free home fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.
Does this place have a kids menu?
