    Fairfax and Slut
    Lyane P.

Came to Grand Central Market on 7/3 and was so happy that Egg Slut was open! The hubs and I shared a Fairfax and a Slut. The line was about 5 minutes long with about a 10 minute wait after ordering. Not bad at all! It was crowded today but definitely worth the wait. We found covered seating right outside at a table, which was so convenient. There were tables without covering too, but a bit too warm for today. The Fairfax was meatless with lightly scrambled eggs, chives and cheddar cheese on a very soft Brioche bun. Some filling oozed out-it was a generous serving! The slut with lightly toasted bread was phenomenal! So yummy! Loved the silky egg on top of the textured potato puree. The perfect combo on the toast! There is parking associated with Grand Central Market but we were fortunate to find free street parking today due to the holiday!

Simply the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. I also loved the hash browns and the french toast. The side salad is a nice side to have if you want some greens with your breakfast. Good coffee too. Service was nice.

I went to Eggslut before in Vegas and did not realize there were multiple locations scattered across the world. Whoops. Anyhow, unlike Vegas, the line at the Grand Central Market wasn't as long. Therefore, it didn't take me very long to get my Fairfax Sandwich. I didn't go overboard with truffle hash browns this time because I was flying out from LAX later in the evening. However, the sandwich was quite good. Also, I didn't order the cold brew because it was still a very small size. But at least the sandwich tasted quite fgood.

I love spending time at the grand central market, but I'm rarely there during breakfast hours. Finally, I had a chance to stand in line to grab an eggslut breakfast sandwich and their truffle hash browns. The secret to standing in a long line is grabbing the ice cold beer from sticky rice. The brioche bread was soft, silky and really flavorful that turned a regular breakfast sandwich into an extra-delicious experience! I also loved the truffle hash browns because I love tater tots and these were a nice in between. However, I feel that the hash browns can have a bit more servings for the price (maybe two more pieces?). The service, as busy as it gets, still manages to be patient and pleasant. Parking is always easy to find at the adjacent parking lots. Weekend parking is usually 10$ for the whole day.

First time coming here and didnt realize there were soo many other places to eat at. Eggslut was the first booth that we saw. I got the egg salad, cinnamon toast cold brew and wanted to try the slut as well. I love the ct cold brew. I wished they haf a bigger size that it definitely wasnt enough. The egg salad was creamy with probably mayo, salt and pepper and went well with the arugula. They always gave a fork with it. The slut was okay. It was super butter but felt weird because you are dipping bread into mashed potato and egg.

I'm glad this spot lived up to the hype. Our hotel's breakfast was weak, and we were walking distance to GCM, so we ate here twice. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was bomb. I also liked the egg salad. But the truffle hashbrowns tossed in duck fat were addicting. My kid loved the French toast sticks and fresh OJ. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast spots.

What I thought was a social media campaign turned into a legit meal for an egg lover. Chives mixed with the right amount of eggs and cheese plus spicy mayo created a balanced flavor. Not to mention the soft bun! Every bite is satisfying. I paired it with vanilla cream cold brew Service was fast and friendly, even with a crowd! Love the cozy bar seating too!

The scrambled eggs on a brioche bun are soft and fluffy, while the egg salad on brioche is rich and creamy. Great place for breakfast and lunch. Although there is often a line and seating is limited, it is absolutely worth the wait.

Stopped in on the way home to Vegas today! They never let down! I had the Chicken sausage and cheese I a tray no bread, with arugula salad. It lives up to its name, perfect medium egg which melted over my chicken sausage and blended with my salad ! Great service and missed the line this morning.

Nice little breakfast spot at the market, had a huge line but it moved pretty quickly. I think the prices were very fair too for the area. I ordered the fairfax sandwich, hashbrowns, and french toast sticks. The french toast sticks were phenomenal, will definitely get them again. The hashbrowns were a little too salty for my liking, I'll probably skip those next time. The sandwich was alright, I will probably try a different sandwich next time.

Solid brunch spot. High in calories. Service was friendly and fast despite being busy Grand Central LA. Ambiance is crowded with many other restaurants nearby. Recommend this place for a high calorie brunch. The Fairfax was filling and delicious. One order filled me up quickly. Fairfax: 4.5/5

Chicken Sausage, Egg and Cheese Sandwich + Truffle Tots

Had higher expectations regarding the food due to all the hype but it was good. The truffle tots stole the show for me. They were the best. Got the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich which comes with a chicken sausage patty. The sausage has a greenish tint which reminds me of the paleo chicken sausages at Costco that have basil in it. The buns are brioche and add a nice soft texture to the whole thing.

For a simple breakfast eggslut is the place to go. Located in grand central market you have a lot of variety to choose from. The sandwiches looked pretty good as well. I ordered the slut and for baguettes with potatoe and an egg on top, it's pretty good. A little overpriced because you'll still feel hungry afterwards, but good flavor, light, simple, and the mash potatoes tasted really good. Warning mine did come very hot, so hot that it was hard to unscrew it to let it cool off.

Total was $24 for our shared sandwich that was super filling for two people that we actually didn't even finish our own portion. So highly recommend sharing your sandwich! The sandwich was better than expected, the truffle honey really elevated the flavor of the specific sandwich we got but I would ask for less honey. Too much sweetness did overpower the sandwich. We also got the chip & drink combo for $5 and it's Italian chips & water. They also have a small bar seating area! Parking was a bit harder to find but we found street metered parking. Would highly recommend & can't wait to be back.
