Restroom to the right side. Good breakfast burrito. Better add protein. The lunch one is good too but anorexic size

I really enjoy this place and always look forward to the food. The service is excellent, and while there's no indoor dining area, it's perfect for grabbing your order and enjoying it outside or your choice of place.

It was extremely tiny but very good. With that size, I don't believe it's worth $15. Also, location was horrible, next to skid row. I believe with the size it should be $10-12 max. Good though

I had been hearing a lot about this but never wanted to brave the parking so I decided to DoorDash it. It wasn't so far from where I was. It was warm. I got the veggie one and I have to say it's really really delicious. Their chipotle Aoli and crema are chefs kiss. I just wish it was bit more price and portion friendly. Otherwise I liked it. My only thing is please don't just give the box for delivery orders- still tape bag and all because the box alone can be tampered. It didn't feel safe due to that

Good but expensive breakfast burritos. Ordered for an early breakfast meeting. The meat / hash brown proportions were legit and were cooked to perfection. The price was a bit tough though - almost $20 - so may opt out next time around.

Ordered breakfast burritos for my team and we all enjoyed it. All but one of us got steak burritos. One person got the juarez with short ribs. He said the juarez was good, but it was smaller than an already small burrito. This happened to be the only complaint from the team - the breakfast burritos are very small. My personal complaint since I procured the food, is the parking. There is no parking area or even temporary to run up and pick the order up.

Juarez burrito (bean and cheese) is as thin as a sharpie marker lol not worth the $$$. The steak or bacon breakfast burritos are much better and are both delicious! Pretty pricey for a breakfast burrito considering the size too. Super yummy but might have to order two to be full- and that's coming from a petite 5'2 girl lol

This place is pretty gas ngl... we had two burritos and both were amazing! Food wise, the burritos were full of flavor especially they give you sauces to dip in it too. Service was efficient, the server was very nice and let us try a few different sauces also. Ambiance wise, it was a hole on the side of the building. Not really any seats, it's mainly for togo orders! We had to get it again before our flight leaving LA!

Didn't need to write much because there wasn't much to say. One burrito is basically the size of 3 sauce containers. Costs almost $20 on DoorDash/Uber Eats. Not sure who they think they are, but that size is wild.

This would be a 5/5 if it wasn't so overpriced. It's sad that these places up charge soooo much. A tiny little OJ was $7+, which even for freshly squeezed is insane because it was maybe 8-10oz and tasted like regular fresh OJ The breakfast burrito is ridiculously good, we were quiet the entire time we were eating because it was that good. The crispy tator tots really upgrade this burrito from most and the tortilla was perfect. It's the perfect size for one person, but that means it's half the size most breakfast burritos usually are and so much more expensive. I liked the chipotle better than cilantro but I prefer the slight kick (not spicy but good flavor) If I was really craving it again, I would get it another time

The server at the front window placing my order was sweet and took the time to explain the menu to me. I unfortunately forgot to get his name but he recommended I try the breakfast burrito (a notable choice that people get often). I did just that and had it with steak with cilantro crema and a ceremonial grade matcha. He also said the wait would be about 10-15 minutes and I kid you not it was 15 minutes exactly so I thought that was neat. The place is active as well, lots of people picking up orders and placing. So I was definitely looking forward to the burrito. The location itself was tiny and missable if you aren't really looking, a whole in the wall, if you will but the indoor area from a glance looks very kept. Now, let's get into this burrito and matcha. The matcha was delicious and incredibly balanced, smooth, and full of flavor. I got mine with oat milk (nice lil option for those who are lactose intolerant like me). The drink size was a tad small for my liking and personally I would've been willing to pay extra for a larger size since the drink was definitely giving quality. The burrito was really savory and also balanced there was not too much of one thing, each bite included all that what was described on the menu. The cilantro crema took everything a step further. I did enjoy the crisp texture on the tortilla. I'm a fan of a nice crunch and it was cool getting it out of a breakfast burrito. Again the sizing was small-ish but everything together was filling. A tad on the expensive side we can call it but given the options I chose, the math was mathing. The only downside was honestly the sizing of the food and drink and given the area; there is no seating. That's understandable if you're from the area.

Wake & Late serves up what might just be the best breakfast burrito anywhere, period. Every bite is spot-on: smoky bacon, crispy hash browns, fluffy eggs, fresh avocado, and then the real magic -- cilantro lime crema and chipotle aioli tying it all together. It's balanced, flavorful, and downright addictive. Yes, it's on the smaller side and a little pricey, but honestly? Totally worth it. This is the kind of burrito you'll be thinking about long after breakfast is over.

Bomb breakfast burrito, they are showing why they are so hyped. Got the breakfast burrito with pinto beans and pickled jalapeño! Great crisp on every bite thanks to the tator tots inside. All of the sauces were immaculate as well so try all three!! Pro Tip: no seating at this location so grab your burrito and eat on the street!

    It's there dine in area?

Nope, they just have a window you order at and you wait outside.

    Do they take cash?

    No it's cashless only transaction's.

How spicy is their spiciest sauce?

It has a kick, but it won't burn your mouth or anything. It has good flavor. I'd say it's mild. For my liking anyway.

Can you order the burrito in a bowl (without the tortilla)?

    It wouldn't be a "burrito" 😂

Is the happy greens burrito not on the menu anymore?

No it looks like they took greens off the menu. I loved it in my BYO. Sad

Are they open today? It's not letting me order online and they don't answer the phone.

If you ordered later in the afternoon, they were probably closed. They operate pretty early, ending around 11/12 depending if it's a weekday/end !

Will you ever bring back sides like tots or burrito bowls? Foods so good and I always want more to eat after my burrito :)

No outdoor seating, but dog allowed. Is this correct?

There are a couple out door seats and yes I seen people with dogs on a lease

Is there enough seating and outlets to work there?

Unfortunately we are in the process of redesigning our interior, so the only seating available is outdoors. However, we will soon have our dining room reopened and there will be plentiful seating with charging available.

Hi! Is their wifi require a password or is it unsecure/open?

Hello there! Our wifi does require a password, and we are happy to provide it to any of our customers.

Is there a parking lot? Or street parking? Thanks

Even though my partner and I had a reservation that we showed up on time for, we waited 30 minutes to be seated. That wait time is pretty outrageous considering we reserved a table for 30 minutes earlier. Once seated, we noticed that the staff were extremely slow and inattentive. It took a while for us to get some water and even longer to get our food. The pacing between dishes was ludicrous. The food here is the saving grace for the disappointing service. We started off with the naan & dips. The dips were tahini tofu and carrot hummus. I liked the tahini tofu dip much more than the carrot hummus. It was creamy, nutty, and savory. The naan was fresh and nicely charred. Next we had the goat liver mousse. This included crumpets, biscuit crackers, craisin relish, seasonal jam, and of course, goat liver mousse. The crackers were too dry for me, but I really enjoyed the warm crumpets. All of the spreads were equally good. The goat live mousse itself was smooth and light. For the main courses, we shared the grilled kalbi-style short ribs and pork belly noodles. The short ribs were covered in a sweet-savory sauce and had a deep caramelization, while the meat was tender and juicy. As for the pork belly noodles, the overall flavor was too salty, but the glass noodles had a nice texture. Throughout our entire meal, there was a fly that kept trying to fly onto our food. It was very annoying to deal with. I was surprised that it was even an issue, considering we had indoor seating. I would have understood if only we were seated outside. Ultimately, I did not leave with a great impression of this restaurant. On top of that, there isn't any designated parking lot, so you'll be lucky if you can even find street parking. If not, you'll need to use one of the paid lots nearby. Also, beware that this restaurant adds a surcharge to all checks regardless of party size.

My friend just flew in for a day because his relative had forgot her passport and needed to travel to Korea, so we stopped here. He missed a few meetings, a vet appointment and other things, but also saved the day, otherwise his relative wouldn't have been able to make it to Korea. While here, they ordered a salad with cherries and pecans that was pretty amazing. I think that may have been one of the better salads I've eaten. In addition to that, a cucumber burrata salad was ordered, and that was made well too. When my venison burger arrived, I took a few bites and it had the exact flavor I was hoping for and I thought the burger was done extremely well. My friend also ordered a pork chop, and it was an amazing cut, cooked perfectly, tender, juicy and everything you could ever want in a bone in pork chop. They also cut the entire piece for you and scraped every last bit off of the bone too. The service is really attentive. They come by your table a lot to ensure you have everything you need. Something happened and when we arrived there was a mix up with the reservation so we ended up sitting in the bar for about 45 minutes. This place is extremely casual, think shorts, t shirts, and flip flops and you won't be out of place. Servers and bartenders all have the eagle rock/highland park grunge vibe. I went there with my wife and 2 teenage daughters. We started with the cornbread. I thought it was good (4/5) but with the amount of butter and honey anything would have been good. Wife didn't care for it, thought the buttermilk made it too sour. Just know that it's tiny. For the four of us, each had one bite. The menu for mains is pretty limited. Steak, swordfish, or porkchop. We ended up going with the steak, 2 swordfish, and then added the brown eyed peas, mashed potatoes, and then wanted to start off with the pork chile (which is really chile verde). The chile verde was the star of the night. If I ever went back, this is what I would order. Maybe it's because all the chef's are hispanic, but it was really good. They serve it with homemade tortillas and it was excellent. The steak is a large 2 pound bone in rib eye. I ordered it medium rare. It was more on the rare side, which i don't have a problem with, but the steak was a little tough. Not super tough but for $150 I definitely expected a little more "melt in your mouth" rather that fighting some pieces. Bone marrow was a nice touch. probably a 3/5. The fish was well cooked, not dry but the flavor was not amazing either. Hard to explain but the sauce was a little too sour. I like lemon on my fish but the sour almost made me think the fish was past it's prime. It wasn't, but the sauce didn't really highlight the fish. I shouldn't have ordered two and would skip this one next time. My least favorite and a 2/5 The sides were good. Mashed potatoes with garlic and butter, nothing special but good. Brown eyed peas were really just white beans. They were good, but not steal the show good. About a 3/5 For dessert we split the chocolate cake which was more like a muffin with a hazelnut whipped cream. Don't think of chocolate cake, think of it rather as a small piece of chocolate flavored loaf with no frosting or chocolate pieces. I liked it because I like things that are not very sweet but I was the only one that cared for it. Overall portions are fairly small. Between me, my wife, and two teenagers we ate everything. Total bill with tip was about $510. Pretty crazy when you think about it. Would I go back? Probably not but the ambiance was nice with the grill and real candles.

An Absolute Masterpiece of a Lunch!…read more My friend was visiting from New York, and I wanted to take her somewhere truly special for lunch. Since it was our first time at République, we didn't quite know what to expect, but we were completely blown away! From the atmosphere to the service and, of course, the food--everything was flawless. The Main Event Blueberry Pancake: My friend ordered this, and it was huge and incredibly delicious. A total crowd-pleaser. Filipino Pork Belly Adobo: I ordered this and was so impressed by how rich and deeply flavorful it was. Absolutely delicious. World-Class Service & Hospitality The service here is incredibly efficient, but what really made our day was the staff. Rambo took care of us and he was fantastic--so pleasant, attentive, and proactive with everything we needed. We also had the absolute pleasure of meeting the owner! It was so impressive to see her on the floor working just as hard as the rest of the team. She was incredibly nice and you can tell she truly cares; we watched her personally ensure the quality of the dishes was on point before they ever left the kitchen. That level of dedication explains why this place is so successful. Do Not Skip Dessert! Before you leave, you must hit the pastry counter. We grabbed a few things to try, and they were sinfully good: Kouign-Amann: Flaky, caramelized perfection. Basque Cheesecake: Rich, creamy, and beautifully baked. Chewy Chocolate Cookie: Perfectly textured and decadent. We had such a beautiful experience here. République lived up to the hype and then some. We will definitely be back, and we're bringing our friends and family next time!

I had my rehearsal dinner here last week and all in all it was a WONDERFUL experience…read more We reserved the kitchen area for 32 guests with a set menu served family style. The food was INCREDIBLE and I was SO pleasantly surprised by how much food there was! We ended up with soooooo many leftovers! Family style meals always make me a little nervous, but the portions were plentiful and all of our guests left completely stuffed. The bread and butter was a standout, as well as the corn puff pastry appetizer (I can't remember exactly what it was called!). The steak and chicken main courses were to die for and the strawberry tiramasu was incredible. I could go on and on about the food. It really exceeded our expectations. Jared, our server was WONDERFUL. He was so attentive and on top of things. He communicated with my husband and I whenever he needed to and made our entire dinner so seamless and fun. The only downside to the experience was in planning the evening. I struggled a bit when it came to communicating with Sandra in the days/weeks leading up to our dinner. I didn't feel like we were a priority and often had to call or email multiple times to get a response. I found that to be very frustrating, especially because it was such an important part of our wedding and in the days leading up to getting married, the last thing I wanted to be doing was waiting on an email from the restaurant or hunting down a response about our beverage menu. I was also really bummed to see that when we got to the restaurant, our dinner menu had the wrong date printed on it. I wanted to bring one of the menus home as a keepsake, but it felt pointless when I saw the typo. There were also drinks on the beverage menu that we had never discussed, which was another disappointment. It ultimately didn't ruin our overall experience, but I think it's worth noting for other people planning larger dinner parties at Republique because I do wish a little more care had been taken on the restaurant's end while planning our dinner.

I had dinner with a friend here and we loved everything we had. Service was the perfect level - kind but not over~the~top, checking in just the right amount, making sure we were well taken care of. Clean bathrooms, too, haha! Now the drinks and eats! I absolutely loved my Pecan Cold Brew (6.50) and was surprised to see such an option at dinner! It was perfect. My friend had the beautiful Ginger Thyme Lemonade ($6.50) which was also just delicious. I highly recommend everyone try their 'Selection of freshly baked breads with all 4 spreads' for $29 if it's your first visit in. It's a filling starter of a few of their breads (the pre-buttered & chives topped charred levain was exquisite as is - no notes!) and a few of their toppings. My personal favorite of the toppings was the fresh cheese with honey & salsa macha - our server said it was their favorite, too - but there wasn't a bad topping in the lot. Butter + Salt was simple but lovely. The Charred Eggplant spread was sweet in a good way with walnuts and pomegranate molasses. The smoked trout was nice to have a meaty option with smoked onions mixed in, topped with roe. We had the Bluefin Tuna Carpaccio ($27) starter which was light but beautiful with meyer lemon, chives, sea salt, and sourdough crisps. Everyone recommended me the Fried Brussels Sprouts ($15) before I went and y'all were right! They come lightly fried with red flame grapes, walnuts, and pecorino cheese all mixed on the plate Fell in love with Superba Food + Bread and can't wait to go back. I hear their brunch is fabulous, too!

The chopped chicken salad was actually so good and filling, I loved the vinaigrette, it was bright and refreshing. And the rainbow trout was cooked well. The cinnamon sticky bun was pretty good, but it was a little overdone so the bottom was quite hard. The black sesame matcha was okay as well, I didn't really taste the matcha or the black sesame.

Our server Ahman was attentive had great personality, funny. "Strong and cute " LOL. The food was amazing we ordered a bunch of things. That knuckle sandwich was hitting hard. That steak and mashed potatoes was delicious. OMG and the ox tail grilled cheese hands down was Completing hard with that knuckle sandwich. The food was to die for , I can't say enough about the food. This restaurant EVERYTHING WAS SO DELECTABLE!!! There's not many restaurants that you can say everything was delicious but you can say it about Linden. The chef came out , the GM came Over. The customer service made you feel like you were a VIP customer. I definitely have to go back, like ASAP. I'm dreaming about this food. The experience was unforgettable and the type of experience that whoever trained those individuals at LINDEN in creating a customer experience need to train other restaurants. I will Definitely be back. Oh and not to mention after You eat they can take you next door through the back to go to DOT. It's a bar next door with drinks and music. It gets pretty packed in there at around 11. I can't say enough wonderful amazing things about this place. Will definitely be back for sure !!!! Will be making reservations again soon.

Linden is on Sunset, so parking can be hard to come by. If you're lucky, you might find street parking, but most likely you'll need to valet unless you don't mind walking some distance. Moving on. We had a reservation so we were seated immediately. Started with drinks, and I don't remember the names (apologies). One was a passion fruit cocktail, very flavorful. The other has pineapple and was also very nice. Both drinks has a great blend of spirit and flavor. Food, we started with the Yellowtail Crudo and the Lobster & Crab Knuckle Sandwich. The crudo was excellent with a scotch bonnet ponzu sauce to dab in and scallion salad. Would definitely recommend. The Lobster & Crab Knuckle Sandwich was also one of the best lobster rolls I've had. So much lobster and crab, perfectly buttered, a great roll... so good! For entrees we did the NY strip and the Sweet Corn & Pea Agnolotti. The NY strip was cooked perfectly with the pomme puree and wilted spinach. Great bite with everything together. The Sweet Corn & Pea Agnolotti was also good with sweet corn-filled agnolotti and charred corn on top. The one thing that I felt was a little it of place was the truffle on the peas. It wasn't an overbearing amount but the truffle flavor really came through and, for me, just didn't bring it all together. It was still a good dish, but I felt the truffle did not need to be there. Might have been better with something else or just leaving it off all together. Overall, fabulous restaurant on Sunset serving a great menu with inspiration from around the world. Cocktails were amazing as was the food. Highly recommend!
