The burger choices were very nice. Thinking about my gluten free wife, there are lots of options for her to bring her back. I ordered the build your own beef burger. I had fried onions, and egg added and the house kettle chips on the side. The burger was absolutely wonderful. My coworker got the turkey burger with green beans. He took half back home with him. The reviews on here are either good or bad. I found this restaurant to be excellent from start to finish. We were greeted with warm smiles and our waitress Teri was also very nice and attentive. The restaurant is somewhat newly decorated and had a warm ambience. While the garden salad with blue cheese dressing and the lobster bisque were both a bit bland, the salmon with hollandaise sauce was the best salmon I have ever had. It was fresh and delicious and did not have the "fishy" taste that salmon usually has. The captain's choice with lobster and shrimp was phenomenal. They subbed out the sherry wine sauce with lemon butter sauce per my request. The lobster tail was more than a generous portion. Twice baked potato substitution was small, but fantastic. The custard dessert was fresh and delicious along with a Key lime pie martini. The French martini with the raspberry vodka instead of vanilla was absolutely fantastic too. Our Burger Club visited on a Thursday night not knowing local artists came for an open mic night. It's a tiny place with tables crammed in at every angle and wherever they could put them. One of the more interesting decor choices are the LPs that adorn the walls. Not the records themselves, but the LP jackets and covers. They're on the walls and they looked as if they were placed on the walls when they were first purchased as they were properly aged for their timeframe (classic rock mostly). We all had the burgers (hence the burger club). The burgers and fries were reasonably good. We had also ordered wings as an appetizer to share and they were very good. What surprised me the most was that there was one bartender/server and one cook in the kitchen. That was it and the bartender/server was johnny-on-the-spot. She took our order, served our drinks, checked on us, and repeated the process for all the other tables (all were taken) and all the patrons at the bar. The couple that owns the restaurant is very down earth and kind. The burgers are very tasty and their beignet dessert is out of this world. The alcohol is self self serve the offer various beers and a few cocktails. The only complaint I have is I find their seats are uncomfortable.
