I think this is a decent spot if you stick to standards. It's clearly very popular! But I think it's important for restaurants to have quality control, and the dish I got should never be served. I ordered the Fried Truffle Egg Brioche, which is listed as "brioche, fontina cheese, asparagus, fried egg, truffle butter". Sounds good! I imagined a grilled bread with cheese, some cooked asparagus, and an egg, and some truffle flavor. What I got was 2 enormous, soft, cold pieces of bread layered with about 2 cups of chopped asparagus that was barely cooked to the point it was effectively raw (and unseasoned), topped with an egg that had a tiny bit of cheese on it. I could only eat the egg but the waiter never checked back. The bread was somehow sweet and bitter. This was such a strange dish! I don't know how anyone has liked this. The patio is cute - it's in a breezeway between the restaurant and whatever is next door so it's not just along the parking lot. I got a piece of French toast and a side of bacon. My French toast was cold except a small area where the butter actually melted. We used to come here 6 years ago and the food was good but the service was always bad. No big deal, I guess. Went back 2 years ago and the food was sub-par and the service was bad. Super expensive! Decided to try them again today thinking it's been a few years and maybe they fixed things. Nope. Still stupid expensive with bad service. The waitress was inattentive and I don't know if she had a gauge on her tongue or something in her mouth but she was almost zero understandable. We would start to ask her something and she'd walk away. I had to really get loud to get her to listen to us at all. Our water was gone and no ice but she never refilled it. I had the Breakfast Burger that had dry buns, hardly anything but egg on it. No flavor. My husband had the rueben with 2 little slices of meat and an inch of sauerkraut. Tasty but not with $20. I don't think we will ever come back. Could have gotten a better breakfast burger at Denny's. The bill for 4 people who drank water and only ordered entrees was $90, at 11 in the morning. I have been dying to try this place since it's right by our new house and today was the day. We walked in and luckily were immediately seated, but it got busy very quickly and seems to have a continuous wait the later it gets so be prepared. It's a small place and felt a little like tight quarters, but cute. Our waitress came over right away with water (cucumber water for my husband and I and a strawberry water for my kiddo). I love cucumber water but my husband is not a fan and that was simply how it was served. The menu is enormous and has lots of options so if you struggle with choices like I do, definitely look at the menu online in advance. I came in knowing I wanted to try the avocado toast, but there are tons of amazing sounding items on the menu and the waitress says many of them (highlighted in gray) are the favorites. Also, the mimosa I had was a generous pour (I would hope so for $9) and the juice was very fresh. Now the nitty gritty. Portions were pretty good for the price. Our kiddos Mickey pancake was giant, my avocado toast was two slices and absolutely covered in tons of avocado and fruit, and my husband's corned beef hash was also a pretty decent portion. The hashbrowns were a little soft and very generic, still good, but simple. The fruit on my toast was very fresh but I wish there was more of the pomegranate seeds and grapefruit, it was mostly just blueberries. The downfall of the morning and why we couldn't give a better rating? There was a broken piece of plastic in my husband's hash (which looking back you can see in the photo). They were very concerned and apologetic when we told them and ended up removing the meal from our bill (not requested or expected so very nice). After that we were a little turned off so we headed out. We would definitely go back again because the service was excellent and the food is good. On my last day in Arizona before the drive home, my mom took me here with the family. She told me my sister loves this place and shared that it's a pretty good breakfast spot. When we arrived, it was pretty empty (the restaurant must have barely been open for 20 minutes), and we were seated immediately. Within 10 minutes, the place started filling up more and more. The breakfast arrived quickly, and nothing stood out with mine, aside from the thick pancakes. Additionally, it is a lot of food. My mother's brioche french toast was very thick; she only ate one of the two slices. My kiddo, though, the s'mores pancake was slathered in sugar (marshmallow cream and chocolate); you couldn't find the pancakes. If you do get this one, get it for a dessert. The OJ strawberry and grapefruit mimosa both were really good. The menu has lot of options from pancakes to waffle, omelettes, sandwiches, burgers and more. We ordered plenty of food, let me go from best to worse - The pancakes are the best, pecan and banana both were really good. The omelettes and sandwiches are the worse. Though the omelettes looked good it was so difficult to eat, lacked flavor, salt and other spices in them. I went with chipotle chicken bacon sandwich, there was no sign of sauce nor the bacon. The chicken was dry and the worse sandwich I have eaten. Presentation is very good but this place is over priced. A family of 4 with young kids would be shelling about $100 which was not worth it. We made reservations for 12PM and were immediately sat upon arriving, which was important to us because we needed to keep on time in order to return to work. We were sat under the lit up sign there and thank gosh, our server ended up moving us because it looked like the huge "H" above my head was about to fall off the wall! My friend had the two eggs which included pancakes, the eggs, hash browns, and sausage, and I ordered the Gypsy Steak Skillet (skirt steak, smoked ham, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, swiss, american cheese). Great portions and fair prices. We enjoyed our orders and left feeling full and satisfied! This place is located off Gilbert, South of Germann on the West side. First off the coffee was very good. Not watered down like alot of the coffee we had in North Carolina. The two eggs breakfast was decent and we substituted Nutella red velvet pancakes (see photo). We also got the Fresh berry crepes. Both the pancakes and crepes were very good and a good sized meal. We both agreed that the hash browns were seasoned well and crunchy. The service was good as well the waitress was very attentive even tho she was busy. We went for a late breakfast this morning and went to Eggstasy to fuel us up for a day of hiking. We started off with drinks- my sister had a black ice tea and I had a yummy iced latte. After a look at their extensive menu, i decided on the omelet with asparagus and almonds and quinoa bowl. The sourdough that came with the eggs was super, the main dishes were terrific and the fruit side was delicious. The croque madame was a an epic fail with way too much bread and not much else. Probably looks good in pics and instagram but cook for taste and execute for that not how well it might look on a tik toc video. There was a serious question as to whether there was actually an bechamel contained in the Sammy or just mayo as a short cut. It wasn't even worth taking home unless you wanted to make some French toast with the excessive amount of brioche bread. I'd rather you scale it down charge $2 less and make it taste better but that's just me. Spiked sweet tea left much to be desired. Again pretty to look at but way too sweet and sugary. Not for peeps with da Betus. Moving on... Service was decent but everyone was running behind the bar scrambling to keep up with a full house. Just chaotic behind the bar.
