Eggstasy was the perfect brunch spot for our reunion weekend. We came with a big group and had such a great time. Everything was amazing, from the loaded Bloody Marys to pancakes bigger than our faces and some truly wow omelettes. The portions are huge and definitely filling, so come hungry. I tried out their skirt steak and eggs, roasted garlic and asparagus omelette, and strawberry OJ. The reason these entrees are so expensive (ranging from $18-$30) is because they include sides. I had pancakes which I felt was the best part of the meal. The strawberry OJ was much more OJ than strawberry. The steak sucked. Note that over-easy eggs are very runny if that's not your thing. Love this location over any of the others! I usually opt for lunch fare when we go. I can't recommend the Shea Blvd panini or the Buffalo wrap more. It's soooo good. They have excellent French fries too! I'm not sure about breakfast, but every time I order a sandwich I get a complimentary soup. I try to ask ahead of time what the soup is because I'm a little picky, so I tell them to hold it if it's not something I like - don't want to waste food. I was thinking of going somewhere else, but wife decided on this venue which is closer and no waiting in line. We arrived last Sunday morning around 8:30 am and even though the place was crowded there were still a couple of tables available. The restaurant was nice and open with a lot of light. I had the Corn Beef Hash and elected to have the hash browns and English muffin. Everything tasted great except the English muffin was really dense and there were no crevices. Way too much to choose from and it all looks delicious. I ordered the goat cheese and fig jam omelette. It was my least favorite thing. I couldn't really taste the goat cheese and it was really overcooked. I upgraded to the side of specialty pancakes... Lemon ricotta. Those were out of this world. Absolutely amazing. We had a very interesting experience during our Easter brunch visit to Eggstacy. We were sitting out on the patio getting served by our waiter when all of the sudden he yelled at us from the parking lot a few minutes later informing us that he just got fired... he then proceeded to scream and yell. We were confused by what had happened. We were then served by multiple members of the restaurant informing us that there was a physical altercation. It was a very interesting/sad experience. It was a bit odd that no one from the management or ownership of restaurant came to address the situation or ensure that everything was ok. While we would have loved to focus on our meal, the experience was a bit tainted by the events during our brunch. They have a huge menu and plenty to choose from.
