Do not go here on the weekend. The wait was only 25 minutes but once seated, we sat for 45 minutes and still didn't have our food. Their kitchen cannot handle the capacity. Over an hour of waiting in total and we left without having food. Sad because I do know it's good food but I will never go back unless it's midweek. Food was still good although they screwed up one of our orders and had to remake it (except they didn't remake it, they "fixed" it, slapped it in the microwave and re-served it). Everyone working there was very nice and tried their best but senior management needs to get their act together if they're going to make this new (quirky) location work. The service was really good! The waitress was very attentive, took our order quickly, brought us our food quickly, and checked on us a lot. They weren't crowded, so maybe that had something to do with it. The reason for the three stars is the food. It was o.k., and didn't have much taste to it. The pancakes had a weird after taste to it, which may have been the powdered sugar or the syrup. Also, I thought that it was pricey for the amount of food they gave. Brunch the other day consisted of a breakfast burrito with eggs, chorizo, cheese, etc. The Burrito was OK, it would've been nicer had it been left under the heat a bit longer to allow all of the cheese to melt. The result was half the Brito had melted cheese the other half was not. I also think that perhaps today they were a little heavy-handed on the chorizo. The coffee was excellent and the service great. Food is great and the staff there are some of the best I have seen but the way management yells at the staff non stop is very uncomfortable. I have not seen that in any other restaurant. An older woman literally follows servers around barking orders while they are trying to do their jobs and keep the customers happy. I have seen a man do the same. The food and the service keeps me coming back but just less frequently now. Good help is hard to find these days they need to be appreciated. read more

This was the last time today on Halloween that I will be ever going to this establishment. Every time I go in I get the same thing and every time somehow it gets managed to get screwed up. If it isn't a 20 minute wait at the minimum to get a beverage because they are understaffed and the bartender has to go take tables, then it's 45 minute wait for food when it seemingly it's only at half capacity. But for sure today, after going in around six or seven times in the last several months and having my food messed up again for the sixth or several time I think I'm gonna call it quits here. Eventually when she did come out she waited on the table that came in several minutes later. Then finally came over to me. Took my order and I never saw her again until I asked for my check. Our food came out rather quickly, but the cappuccinos we ordered did not. We said something to the girl who delivered our food...she remembered she had already made the cappuccinos, but they had been left sitting up at the bar.
