Sometime service is on par with the exceptional menu sometimes the service is like your at Denny's rushed and ignored and it takes for ever to bus the tables and it get your order. I have eaten here several times and it has always had great food and service! Today we came in at 11am and it was HOT! The thermostat said 88 degrees! We asked the manager, Michael, if he could adjust it and he informed our group that he had told the owners several times about the A/C not working but they have done nothing to fix it! Shame on them! There was only 2 other tables taken in the whole place, but with it being so uncomfortable, I get it! I feel bad for the employees having to work in the kitchen... it must be over 100 in there!!! Great brunch restaurant!! I've been to another eggstasy and this experience was just as good! I find it so hard to order something different after I find something that I really like. So I opted to order the barbacoa omelette with hash browns. The portions are ginormous so be prepared to take some home. The barbacoa omelette is delicious - the omelette is topped with flavorful beef that's been marinated in some spices - you get quite a bit of meat on top. Then you have the option of choosing toast of pancakes (and you can upgrade your pancakes to specialty pancakes for $3). I opted for the cinnamon roll pancakes. I took home half of my omelette, most of the hash browns, and the two pancakes - it was enough for my husband and I to have dinner!! The outdoor patio was especially nice on a beautiful day , relaxed, sunny, and perfect for a slow brunch. Service was friendly and attentive, and our food came out in a reasonable time even though the place was busy. The food was not bad but there were somethings we wish could eat been done a little bit better. Pancakes were crispy on the outside perfectly but the texture internally felt a little overdone. Steak felt a little overdone for medium finish and was a little too chewy. We are pretty consistent eggstacy customers, but we like to try different things when we come. This time I got the eggrise sandwich and I was impressed with how stuffed it was! Lots of egg white and chicken sausage. The chicken sausage was really great. I'd totally get this again. It says there's pesto, but I didn't taste much of that so more pesto or some type of sauce would amp it up a bit more. We also got a side of the hand stacked hash and buttermilk pancakes. Both great! As not a big pancake person, I kept stealing more and more bites of the pancakes! I struggle with reviews like this. My hope is that management reads them and finds ways to improve. I came in with a friend. Our server was so nice. And very attentive. Sadly the coffee was barely warm. You categorically cannot serve tepid coffee at a breakfast place. It's just not acceptable. We placed an order for an omelet and a side of turkey bacon. The kitchen messed up and diced the turkey bacon and cooked it inside the omelet. Our sever should have never brought it to the table. But he did. And he asked us if we wanted it the way it was. I'm not the kinda person to be rude and send something back. So we went ahead and ate it. It was disappointing and not very good. Again, he was so nice and very attentive. First things first, bring your appetite. Lots of delicious food. My parents recommended this spot for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. We had a variety of dishes ranging from the banana macadamia nut pancakes to the melt away eggs. Daughter got the corned beef hash and loved it. Eggstasy was one of the first breakfast places listed in Uber Eats and the photo of the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes made us choose Eggstasy. We were not disappointed. The Cinnamon Roll Pancakes are the BEST Pancakes that I've ever eaten! These were the Lightest, Fluffiest Pancakes with a thin slightly crispy outside. I have no idea how they make them so good. The Cream Cheese Frosting and Cinnamon Swirl were the perfect compliment to REAL Maple Syrup. I can't recommend Eggstasy enough. Everyone in our family loved the Pancakes. We also ordered the Chocolate-covered Bacon which is described as "Spicy Candied Bacon" on the menu. It was delicious, but it was EXTREMELY SPICY HOT and we could only eat about 1/4 of a slice of Bacon between the 3 of us. The only knock was the eggs were slightly overcooked. As a "side" I had a stack of two white chocolate raspberry pancakes, which were almost perfect, but a bit sweet for my taste. My food , the smoked salmon platter was exquisite probably the best smoked salmon in town for that matter. The food here is excellent--easily one of my favorite breakfast places. That said, why the paper straws. They don't just fall apart mid-drink--they're unsanitary, leave an odd taste, and there's growing concern about the chemicals used in them. Even the staff agrees and tells me many customers complain. I really hope they reconsider paper straws because everything else about this place is too good to be dragged down by something so avoidable. read more

There were only a couple other people in the restaurant, not busy at all. Waited 10+ minutes to be greeted and place drink orders. Then another 15 minutes to place or order. We weren't in any rush but it felt super slow. Food arrived and the portions were big. My friends said the burgers were pretty dry and over cooked. Two of them ordered a Mable Bacon burger and it looked drenched in syrup (bread included). Super sticky. The other ordered the meatless burger and said it had no taste. In terms of breakfast, I thought it was filling. Some of the food was kind of dry and salty but it was good. I thought it was a bit overpriced compared to some other specialty breakfast places in the Scottsdale area. The service could be improved upon as a whole. read more

As a sidenote the menu is put together well. There's an excellent balance of sweet and savory with a bright array of libational accents. They serve both breakfast and lunch; you can choose either anytime. A couple of things we ordered are below. A bloody Mary. It has a strip of dark chocolate covered bacon and various crudities; I will say however, having never had chocolate covered bacon before, and I hesitate because every other thing about this place is beyond comprehension in a good way, the bacon is not my favorite. Then, the Carne Asada frittata. A goodly amount of beer battered french fries atop. It was mentioned that maybe those are slightly overkill (one really doesn't need filler food here) - but you are going to take it home of course, and that is part of the point right ? I take that back. Boozy Cinnamon Toast Crunch pancakes. Beyond words, think sweet cereal on Saturday mornings, only with alcohol. An elegant little phallic capsule of tasty Rumchata alcohol. An omelette, made of pinenuts, goat cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes. A classic favorite of mine that I came across years ago just by chance while playing around in the kitchen. A very comforting and lovely addition to this menu. Service is refreshing, and provided us some laughing fits, our server Briceyda included, to carry us through the day. Well, we tried the new drive through brunch and it was pretty successful. You just drive up, place your order and find a parking spot within range of the band that was playing cover songs in front of the restaurant. After that, the food comes to your vehicle and you try and eat without spilling on your clothes. My shirt did not fare that well with some juice and syrup hitting their mark. Unfortunately, the pancakes were dry as a bone and not helped with butter and syrup. The veggie egg skillet though was better and the stuffed French toast got decent reviews as well.
