Today was my first time at Eiffel Nails. I've kind of jumped around Covina looking for the right nail salon. They open earlier than most places which is convenient. Savannah & Naomi were great! Naomi did an awesome job on my feet, I don't think I've ever had them done so well. A lot of places do the gel mani kind of thick but Savannah did it just right. I went in to have my acrylic nails taken off....Can you say OUCH!!!! She just started ripping them off I had asked if she could soak them in acetone to loosen them and she said no no its fine don't worry! Don't worry really lady this really hurts....so she just kept going by the time she was don't I had no nails left as she had ripped them all off with my acrylics and then tried selling me a gel manicure, gel manicure for what!!! I have no nails left....This place was so much better when it was LT nails back in the day.... read more

I like this nail salon, I've had my eye brows done here too - I've like both. The problem is the long wait times and then they take so long doing your nails. If i go with one of my sisters we can be there for up to 3 hours. 3 hours for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures?? I just wish it was all a little faster... on the plus side, they are open Sundays. So I try to go on Sundays when I have plenty of time. read more

I have been to several nail salons in and around Covina and West Covina and no other place compares to this place. Tammy was so gentile with my feet and she didn't cut me. Where as other places I have been cut. I found my place FOREVER!! Tammy and Kimmie where so nice everyone there was GREAT. This place is horrible. The first time I went there I got a good service...but I felt it was a bit pricey. I spent about $67 including tips for gel manicure and regular pedicure. I thought ok good because they did a good job. Kim and a gentleman. The second time however was a different story...the boss lady don't know if she is the owner or whatever. She did my pedicure and Kim did my manicure both gel. Again I was overcharged. The boss lady was very rough, I felt a lot of pain when she was removing the cuticles and also when she massaged my leg. I wanted french for my toe nails or just plain white but she said my nails where to dark hence would not look good. I do white on my toe nails all the time and it looks good I said to her. She insisted saying it won't look good. First of all I am paying for this stuff so whether it looks good or not is none of her business. I felt she was trying to tell me something maybe I was to dark or something. Long and short pls, pls, don't go to place. The boss lady is horrible!!!!!!! read more

The owner is very mean to her employees and she kicked out a customer in front of everyone. Bad customer service and the owner isn't friendly. Also, the restrooms do not have seat covers. How does she expect people to use the restroom besides waste more toilet paper to add to the toilet. Smh! read more

Tammy, Kathy and LeLe are absolutely the best!!! I've been coming here for the past 6 years and have no complaints.. They're affordable and they get the job done well.. I know I can be picky at times but they don't read minds.. If there's something you don't like say it!! They fix whatever it is for you! And that's why I love it here.. I don't go any where else!! It's whatever. Depends on who does your nails. Tammy and Kim are the best. But everyone is really nice. I have really short nails , I bite them. But they never seem to mind. My husband is vietnamese and he assures me they're never talks about the customers. The catch is sometimes the acrylic nails are mediocre. read more

I gave this place one star because of how rude and unprofessional the employees here. The young lady and the man kept yelling and speak in their language. This is not a good place to relax at all. I actually went here since its very close to my house and loved that they don't close till 8!!! That in it self is amazing!! It just sucks that the nail sets and the fills both only lasted a week. Tammy did my nails and when I got the set done I noticed that one of the nails were crooked!! The pedi is done in a tub and the last time I went the over charged me too... located in a strip mall next a large Mexican market is Eiffel Nails. Once you enter the smell of the different chemicals used for nails is strong, but the workers and patrons do not seem to mind as the place is generally full. I have a pedicure and waxing done and found the best person is Lee. She is attentive, professional and very careful about what she does. I like soaking in the large chair with the vibrating back, while the cost is about three dollars more than if you do not use the chair, it is worth it. Waxing is done in a small room away from the nail area and here Lee does her magic - the cost is about $8.00. So, without tip everything is about $23. This is worth it....I have gone to others where the pedicure was $24.00, with the waxing another ten. I rely on Lee...if anyone has comments on the other staff please post them.....Oh, it is best to call ahead and make an appointment, that way you can be assured of no long wait..... read more

I don't know the nail technician's name that did my gel manicure & pedicure but she did a horrible job on me. My pedicure was nothing special. I did not get a decent leg massage. She basically just slapped lotion all over my leg and she hardly scrubbed my heels. She cut the corners of almost every toe with the cuticle cutter / nipper which is NOT necessary or okay because it causes in grown nails. She ended up cutting too deep or too much of my skin or nail. I'm not exactly sure what but my big toe is super sore for a few days. There's a bit of clear liquid or pus coming out of where she cut me and its swollen and red / purplish. On top of that, my French was too thick & crooked. Okay now with my manicure, again, worse massage job done ever. I told her I wanted my nails shorter but she told me it won't look nice having short nails with gel so I was like whatever. Then I wanted another coat of polish because my color was really streaky but she tried to act like she didn't hear or understand me. She was going to continue to put the top coat on until I pulled my hand back and tell her again to put another coat of polish on. She did not clean up the nail polish on my skin well either. I came here with three other girls & their nails turned out way better than mine. They didn't get cut either. If I was to ever come back to this nail salon, I would probably want the manager or owner to do it because she did my mom's nails and they were really pretty. Anyways, I'm pretty sure they don't use new files, buffers, or pumice stones on every client. There isn't a lot of colors to choose from, just a heads up. I've been Following Kimberly since I moved out to the Covina Valley area 8 years sgo. I used to have my regular go to gal, but it was always such a drive for me to go to her, but she was so good that the drive was worth it. My girl moved her business to Vegas, so I had to find someone new. I am a very particular person when it comes to my mani, pedi, and wax. My sisters started going to this one place in Covina called Happy Nails, and that is when I met Kimberly. The place was sold to one of the girls that worked there, and Kim left. Kim started working for Eiffel Nails, and I've been coming here ever since. I would go nuts if Kim would ever move to another State like my last girl did. I will follow Kimberly till the end of time. She knows what I want, and I always leave everything up to her. She is always on point, and she is definitely worth the wait. Furthermore, the staff here is friendly, and they know me by name. I work in the Car business, and Customer care is key for me, granted that I am in the business of Customer service. So Ladies, if you liked the overall work they did, I will suggest to give this place another shot before crossing it out of your places to go to, and a little word of advice, come in when you actually have the time to really pamper yourself. Love William. He does the best acrylics here! & Lee lee or Lily (not sure what her exact name is) does great pedicures. Everyone here is very nice, never feel like they're talking bad about you. Only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is because I don't think they wax to well. Wax room is very dim, not sure how they can wax and tweeze if they aren't able to see your eyebrows. I rarely ever post on Yelp. In this particular case I feel compelled to because I do not want other people to experience what happened to me here. I went for a simple pedicure. The woman was cutting my cuticles and cut me so deep on the side of my big toe that It did not stop bleeding for 15 minutes. The entire time she kept putting pressure on it and also put some sort of white powder on the cut with rubbing alcohol. All of this further irritated the cut and I kept bleeding. She did not even acknowledge her blunder or say sorry to me. She decided to let my foot with the cut rest and worked on my other foot. I wanted the callus scrub so she started using the sponge to get rid of the dead skin. She scrubbed way too hard and basically scrubbed the side of my foot raw. Not only did I end up with 1 bloody toe, but my other foot had my skin rubbed off. Only until the time came to pay did she say sorry. She did not even offer any discounted service. Horrible experience. I am traumatized and will never return. read more

I've been coming here for a while but after last night, I'm NEVER coming back! This place is horrible. One time, I was getting a full set done by William and he was so rude and literally got up and took a smoke break, while I was sitting there waiting for him to finish my nails. Then, last night, I went in for a mani/pedi. Kim argued with me because she didn't want to polish my nails because she said they were going to chip and look ugly. I know nail polish is included in a manicure! Then I was shocked when she charged me $30 because I knew a manicure was $10 and a pedicure was $15. Kim said that she charged me $5 extra dollars cause i had a small piece of acrylic on one nail. My last and biggest complaint was that I got toe nail fungus from getting a pedicure at this dirty salon. Don't waste your money! read more

Was looking for a place near my dentist and stopped by. They took me right away, they were just opening. One of the regulars came in so I was moved to another person, no biggie. This gentleman started off being very distracted as they were putting in new chairs, and he just got there so he rushed to set up. He totally cut my first cuticle and I thought, oh crap. Here we go... Then I said ouch! And he profusely apologized. He said I had a lot of skin and he would just trim a little, not a lot. Ok. He proceeded to do a FANTASTIC job! Great manicure, neat French gel manicure, very gentle and said he would remember me and know next time not to trim too much. I believe him. He took his time and did a great job, even giving me cut finger gloves to wear so my whole hands wasn't exposed to the light. He again apologized for cutting me and I left very happy. Great price. I drove around checking prices in the area. Compared to the others, the decor is much nicer and this place had the best price. I paid the same price for a French mani and pedicure than I would've for just a pedicure at the other places. Staff was very friendly! Place was clean. I'm picky to get pedicures because some places don't clean their tubs after every person but they had plastic liners. They seemed very hygienic. William finished my nails and had no problem redoing 2 of my nails that got messed up. I absolutely love this place. Only thing I would recommend is making sure they really soften your feet. Trang Vo first glued three of my nails crooked then one of my nails was lifting because she did not put enough glue and upon addressing the issue all she would say is "I'll Fix". Not only that as she was filling with the drill she ruptured three of my fingers causing it to bleed!!! That was obvious she did not know what she was doing!!!! Loveeee this place! I always leave with beautiful nails. It's very clean (even the bathroom) and the staff are all very friendly. The ONLY thing that's not so great is the price for gel nails. It's a little high compared to other salons but they do a great job. I would recommend trying them if you are looking for a new nail salon. read more
