Good food for quick takeout. Service was fast but sushi came out hot/warm... a little off putting

Ordered take out sushi, California roll, Spicy Tuna, Tiger Eye, and Holiday. It was all just ok. Not bad, not great. The sushi kept falling apart (yes I know how to eat sushi), soy sauce was funky, rice was wrong consistency, tempura was caked on and wasn't cooked all the way though. Nothing bad enough that I wouldn't it. But there are definitely better places in the area. read more

We came here tonight because we wanted sushi but didn't want to have to wait forever. We have never been here before. I'm so glad we decided to come try it. Sushi is FRESH. The Vegas roll came right out of the fryer, and it was SO delicious that warm! Price is great for how much food you get. We will definitely be back. Come try it for yourself! read more

Ordered through DoorDash.... best decision that I ever made for delivery! I had the Honolulu tempura roll and Crab Rangoon. It was delivered fast, hot and fresh. The Honolulu was perfect. Absolutely delicious! The Rangoon threw me for a loop. It was not what I expected at first...it was so fresh and flavorful... and it got better with every bite! I highly recommend! I don't think i'd get food from here again. The egg rolls were probably the only good thing we got. We got a miso soup which tasted like water. we needed to add so much soy sauce and siracha to even give it flavor. As for my sushi the rice was kindve like mush and the rolls had no flavor even after adding soy sauce, siracha and ginger. The creepy thing is after taking a bite of the veggie roll I got a huge chemical taste in my mouth and I thought maybe I was crazy so I had my boyfriend try and he said it tasted like someone sprayed febreeze in his mouth. Turns out it was the cucumbers bc after pulling those out and sniffing them those were what tasted like chemicals. If they can't even get the veggie rolls right at this place I don't know if I'd even want to risk the rolls with fish. read more

This is amazing! We came because of the price and being that they are so reasonable, we expected decent but not amazing. We're we're wrong. First of all, they have the best miso soup we've ever tried. I got the playboy and the snowbird rolls. Both were delicious. My friend got the sunshine and the spring rolls- also wonderful. We also tried the cream cheese wantons and gyoza (pot stickers) and enjoyed both. This is our new favorite spot. To top it off- my husband doesn't like sushi, so he stopped after the soup. The waitress, who I believe owns it, asked him if he didn't like the food. He explained that he is just very picky... she made him a beef and onion pie using the wanton paper and gave it to him, on the house! It was so thoughtful and kind of her, not to mention totally unexpected. Highly recommend. read more

They're officially open! Soft opening this week, but open nonetheless :) Everything is fresh and they can substitute fish for tofu for us vegan and vegetarians :) Tonight we had 5 rolls (2 were regular rolls that we substituted fish with vegetables), agedashi tofu, and miso soup - so, so, so much food, all very fresh and yummy! Sadly we couldn't finish it all - our eyes were bigger than our tummies - but took the leftovers home for snacking tomorrow as we couldn't let it go to waste, obviously, hehe. The owners are so nice and the food is so delicious that I must spread the word! They're across the street from 7-11, catty corner to Harmons behind the gas station. It's our new go-to for sushi now - my husband and I have decided to make Eiko Cafe another regular on our list for date night! read more

One of my favorite sushi spots in salt lake. Sushi and service was fantastic. I recommend the Lehi roll, and their salmon nigiri is great. Quiet, open late, and an unexpected place to find such well prepared and tasty sushi. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the table needed to be wiped off when I was seated. It was past midnight though and not a lot of staff so some crumbs aren't a big deal to me. read more

Okay so for cheap delicious rolls and some gyoza I love this place. 4$ for a delicious Vegas roll!!? Wow. I usually just get the Philadelphia roll with regular salmon as it usually comes with smoked salmon, a tempura fried roll, and some gyoza. Comes out to like 12$?!? What a steal. Service is awesome. Really small place and kind of out of the way for me but I'm a big fan! Not the most fancy place in town but they make up for that with everything else they do right. Staff has always been pretty nice and the food is affordable for what it is. Love the "super spicy" roll. Big bonus for being open til midnight, I loooovveee getting sushi late- it's what I'm used to in Vegas where stuff never really closes. Definitely give it a shot! read more

Personally, I've enjoyed every bite from each dish I ordered. I never recommend getting sushi delivered. Sushi tastes better once it's made, especially if it's fried. Look how delicious and appealing my appetizer looks (crab jalapeño sticks). I give them a 5 star. Very generous staff members. I have nothing to complain about. read more

I ordered from this place after 10 pm and you would never know because their food was as delicious and beautiful as if it were made with the freshness of a new day. I ordered the "Sundance" roll which seems like it's a relative of the popularly known "Executive" roll at other establishments, the Mr. Bromo which turned out to be a sushi bowl instead of roll, and 5 pcs of Salmon sashimi. First of all, their sashimi slices were perfect and my teeth slid through them like butter. Then, I smashed the Mr. Bromo and I never scarf down a poke bowl like I did with that. Wooo soooo good! I didn't need soy sauce or wasabi. I tried one bite of the "Sundance" and out of the three items it came in third, but honestly, I think I was already too full from the Bromo bowl to truly enjoy the rest of the sashimi or Sundance so, I have lunch for tomorrow! I'm so excited to get to eat more bomb salmon sashimi and a whole roll tomorrow too! Price was definitely fair/reasonable for the quality, quantity, and availability of ordering from this place. Honestly we used to love this place but the last couple of times we have ordered, the quality and size portions have gone down immensely! We paid $45 for the saddest little broccoli and beef I have ever seen, some overcooked potstickers that were worse than store bought ones that cost half the price, and a baby vegetable roll. We also didn't get the sauces we PAID for. When we called to express our issues, we were told they could not give any compensation because Uber eats had their money. Then we called Uber eats and they claimed that was not true. The man I spoke with said sorry but did nothing to help us and seemed very disgenuine. I will not be ordering here anymore. I wish I had a picture to show how disappointing our order was but it is long gone in the garbage at this point. read more

Our go-to spot for late night sushi!! The sushi menu is extensive and well-crafted, the sushi itself is flavorful and bright, the gyoza is perfectly golden, even the side salad is one of the best. We keep coming back to knock each roll off the list and every visit is a delight. The people are friendly and they work hard to satisfy. We felt like visiting a new restaurant today, so we looked up "restaurants" on Yelp and Eiko Cafe came up in Sandy on 7th East and 7800 South, it said vegetarian so we thought great! We are so happy we decided to try it, it was a wonderful experience! I had the poke salad with no rice (on a bed of lettuce) it included crab, salmon, avocado, etc.... with a spicy sauce...PERFECT! My husband had the snow bird sushi roll and we shared the pot stickers; everything was delicious!! They offered us some complementary barley tea and we both LOVED it! They have Vegan options as well, This was a great find, we will definitely be back!! read more

Did the order through Grub Hub which was supposed to notify us when the order was ready for pick up and no one called, drove down after an hour walked in and the order had just been sitting there for some time, it was barely warm. Not really impressed with the rolls, pretty dry and not appetizing. I won't go back. read more
