I ordered the playboy for pickup! I was a bit earlier but I was immediately helped and only left to wait for a small moment. The Playboy boy was amazing and the perfect late night snack!! The spicy crab and crunch shrimp paired well with the tuna and fish eggs! It was the perfect roll!! Will definitely be getting again

It was my first time here and once I checked in on Yelp, I got a discount! Eiko cafe is open late and I love that! It's a little hole in the wall, not very spacious. Workers are incredibly nice there. Rolls are a little small but the entrees are freaking huge! We ordered the chicken katsu dinner option that came with soup, 2 egg rolls, wonton, and fried rice. The fried rice was so flavorful, you don't get that at most places! Will be back for those late nights.

I love coming here for some late night sushi. The service usually consists of two people for the entire restaurant so don't come here with expectations of super fast service. They make up for it by having delicious sushi. The restaurant is clean and nice and I love the workers here.

Love this place!! Super cute location and delicious sushi, there's a boba place next door too!! I recently just lost my job and wanted to spend my last $36 here so I couldn't afford to tip bit I hope this review makes up for it lol. if you dine in service may take awhile but that's because there is only 2 workers who work very hard!!

WARNING: this is most likely the worst sushi restaurant in Utah (as of writing this review) Thought I would surprise my GF with some Sunday night sush and decided to try some delivery from this new place I absent seen/tried before.... Words can't describe the Oder of this sushi. It was like 5 times more gross than buying sushi from Smiths at 11:59PM. The tuna here is even so bad that they have to cake it in red dye just to look similar to what consumers expect tuna to look like (see photo below ) I'm almost at a loss for words guys...

I was headed out for lunch and was in the mood for sushi. I yelped a few places and saw that Eiko Cafe was brand spanking new. I'm talking about opening their doors just 2 weeks ago. There were 3 reviews with 5 stars. I have to check this out. Unfortunately, I was truly disappointed and gave this place 2 stars instead. Here's why: 1. It took almost 25 minutes for me to get my food. It wasn'tbe enough busy for a lunch hour. 2. The dishes that they serve their sushi on are plates I have in my home (Walmart). 3. The lobster bake roll is absolutely disgusting. 4. I was served water in a tiny tea cup. The only thing that saved this place was the agedashi tofu. I asked that the roll get taken off my bill. It was THAT bad. I hope the service and food is just growing pains of a new business, but I can't see myself coming back here anytime soon.

We decided to give this place a try despite the mixture of iffy reviews. It is very close to my home, maybe a 10 minute walk, and my daughter and I like to adventure out late at times so the 3 am closing time was appealing! It was a touch confusing when we walked in since I didn't know if we just seated ourselves or if we needed to go to the register or what. After standing there for a moment we were directed to choose a seat where we pleased. My daughter had been there before with friends, so we ordered the Unagi Don since she enjoyed it previously, and we also chose the Hot Night Roll. To be honest I was feeling a little trepidation ordering raw sushi because of the reviews, so we chose things that were cooked. The flavor profile of the Hot Night roll was very similar to our Unagi Don. We enjoyed both plates! If you like eel sauce you would definitely enjoy both as well as they were both hot, savory, and yummy! The reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is that we felt the service was somewhat slow considering there were only a few other tables occupied. Hopefully our next few visits are as successful as this one! :)

Ate everything and I'm a picky eater.

Pretty good for the sandy area. I got the golden eel roll and the burst roll. Liked them both. Better than I expected! Good price too.

Came in for dinner with a party of four and had a great experience overall. We ordered the crispy fried calamari, pork gyozas, and five rolls: the Tsunami, the Spicy Masa, the Vegas, the Jenny, and the Cobacabana. My favorite by a good margin was the Spicy Masa. The habanero sauce is spicy-delicious, with real heat but enough flavor that you keep going back for another bite. The Vegas and Tsunami rolls are crowd-pleasers, and the pork gyozas are a solid starter to share. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, no complaints there. The atmosphere is where I'd push them to level up. The decor is simple and modern, which is fine, but it doesn't create much of a mood, and the dining room gets loud fast. If you're hoping for a quiet, intimate dinner, this probably isn't the spot. For a casual night out with friends or family, though, the energy works. One tip: get a reservation, especially on weekends. Walk-ins can be rough. We skipped drinks and dessert and still landed at around $165, so it's not a cheap night out, but the quality justified the price.

I used to be a big fan of Ika. I've brought countless friends here, I've raved about this place…read more Now I'm here to correct that mistake. The food quality has been slipping for months. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. That ends now. Today, we came as a group of five to celebrate my friend. What should have been a memorable evening became one of the most infuriating dining experiences I've had in years. After we sat down, our waitress was nowhere to be seen for 10-15 minutes. Even when we saw her, we flagged her down 3-4 times and were still ignored. I had to physically get up and chase someone down, and still waited another 5 minutes for someone to take our order. There were only 3 tables in the restaurant. The waitress never once asked me or my friend's mom for our drink order- completely skipped over us. And when drinks did come out, she brought the wrong one to my friend's mom. When we asked for water refills. She filled two glasses out of five and walked off, when my glass was near empty. She then dropped a plate on our table. Moments later, I reached for the food and she snatched it back saying it was for another table. Rude doesn't begin to cover it. We asked for an extra spoon, a completely normal request, and it was met with a dirty look, as if we had asked for something outrageous. When I asked for extra ginger, she placed it at the farthest corner of the table. Whether intentional or not, it felt extremely careless and rude. We ordered uni nigiri, which is not a cheap order. It arrived without seaweed. I've ordered uni nigiri many times here, and it's always come with seaweed. When I flagged it, they didn't remake it, just shoved the seaweed under the rice. An insult to a $20+ piece of nigiri. Throughout all of this, this waitress had a visible attitude toward every reasonable request. What made it worse is that I'm Asian myself, and it was clear she was specifically singling out me and my friend's mom above everyone else at the table. The dismissiveness, the hostility, the microaggressions felt pointed and deliberate. I can only call it what it is: racism and sexism. No one should have to feel targeted at a restaurant they've loyally supported for years. Ika has lost a longtime champion. I will be actively discouraging everyone I know from setting foot in this place. Save your money, your time, and your celebration, and go literally anywhere else. ***Update*** I'd like to clarify a few things since the facts were misrepresented by your response. Funny you bring up my arrival time as if that somehow discredits me. I let my group know I would be a few minutes late, and it was not even close to being an hour. What matters is that after I sat down, our entire group waited 10-15 minutes waving down staff and being repeatedly ignored. I then got up and spoke to a different staff member who was filling ginger by the bar, not even our assigned waitress, and she had to find someone else to help us. That is not "flagging rudely", that is a group of paying customers desperately trying to get basic service. Again, there were only three tables including us. You're welcome to review your security footage to verify this. You claim you were watching closely, but if you were running a restaurant, I find it hard to believe you had the bandwidth to monitor our table that carefully. And if you really were watching, you'd know that we tried to flag down a waiter for over 10 minutes. You also never addressed how long the waitress took to take our orders, never asking me for my drink order, bringing my friend's mom the wrong drink, making a disgusted face when we asked for an extra spoon, dropping the wrong dish on our table and rudely snatching it away, and placing the ginger at the farthest end of the table. Funny how none of that made it into your response. Most importantly, you said nothing about your waitress's sexist behavior toward me and my friend's mother. We were singled out, dismissed, and treated with hostility that the rest of our table did not experience. That was the most egregious part of our visit and you chose to completely ignore it. The uni argument is not worth debating. Seaweed in nigiri is a global standard. Doubling down on that is just embarrassing. I even called that evening to provide this feedback directly, and was told the manager was not available and would call me back the next day. That never happened. Instead of having a conversation and being willing to listen, you chose to come onto Yelp and make this a personal attack against me. Our group was only there because of my recommendation. I was your advocate. That ends now, and so does any business I would have ever sent your way. Your response has only confirmed what kind of establishment this is. So as you said best, goodbye!

A gentleman finally got up to go strike a match under someone's year end. The young female server comes over half grumpily with a slight wannabe smile, and takes our drink order. She brings most of the drinks fairly quickly. But doesn't even attempt to ask if we're ready to order and we've been there 25ish minutes waiting?! The grill across from us got sat after us and by the time she came back to see if we were ready to order, they were done with the show and eating. *InsertEyeRoll*. She took our orders, repeating them and went on her way and shortly returned with our soup and salad. A few more minutes go by just barely before our cook shows up. He gets asking about everyone's orders and meat preference. Awesome. He starts his show, as always... scrambled eggs and rice first right?! Unfortunately, out of 8 of us 7 ordered fried rice, one steamed. Server brought out steamed rice to the one, and cook dishes out 5 bowls of fried rice. Two of us question where our rice was. So they have to prep and cook in the kitchen. Like WTAF?! But whatever... Cook was good, but not overly funny. He didn't even use the funny oil peeing boy (IYKYK) which my 9yo old always gets excited about. Food was cooked just right IMO but server never came back to refill drinks or see if we needed anything. They don't have yum yum sauce it's something much runnier which was disappointing. After the cook was done, they were practically rushing us out, by picking up plates, offering boxes, and setting new clean dishwater near the grill. I'm glad that they are efficient, but where's my server? Where's my water & wine refill? For a Friday evening and NOT very busy, I was really bummed for how horrible our experience and service was. This is one of the best teppanyaki restaurants around. This server didn't do her job and our last 5 star experience turned to a 3 star and was underwhelming sadly.
