I'll start this off by starting, I love bagels!! Visited this particular location to order the Maplehouse bagel. One of the best bagels Einstein Bros offers currently. This review is for the location, not the establishment as a whole as a reminder different locations you will have a different experience. The set up at this location is strange, they have several registers which you order at one and pay at another. After ordering, waited to pay and at the point added a pre-packaged cookie to my order. When they called my name for my order the cookie was on the table I was sitting at. The representative called me name, then before grabbing my order she asked me, "and the cookie too?" As if I stole the cookie. As I reached for my order I told her I paid for it. That exchanged rubbed me the wrong way. Got home to devour my delicious bagel, just to find out that it that it was a sloppy burnt bagel. The fact that they served me the crispiest bagel on this planet is beside me. I might as well go eat some charcoal with cream cheese on it. Such a disappointing way to start my day, luckily Starbucks was near by. I would say however, outside of the one person who handed me my order the other customer service reps were polite. I would not likely return to this location.

New style if ordered open face. You can request open faced in place of their new sandwich style.

Thank you to the corporate representative (TJ) who reached out to me to ensure I became a satisfied customer. At the store level, thank you Jen for guiding me on how to order the Nova Lox. This item has been updated to sandwich style, with the salmon on top. The good news is it can be ordered the old fashion way opened face and the salmon on the bottom (on top of the cream cheese) if you prefer. Jen got my Poppy Seed Bagel right too.

Very clean establishment, always loved this place. The Texas Brisket is fire n very tender.

Highly disappointed, bagel was kind of flat and there was barely any cream cheese on it. The only good part was the very friendly young lady that took my order...she deserves five stars.

This is my favorite bagel on the menu so you can imagine my disappointment when I received this for my order . No lox on my lox bagel ?? How does this happen and to make matters worse I called to let them know . The "assistant manager " Jennifer was really rude and wouldn't give me a refund for my order or give me the managers corporate number . I was told to return to the store to get a new bagel . That's such a waste of my time for a mistake made by them .make sure your order is right before even leaving the store because if a mistake is made by them you will have to pay for it .

The New Yorker was packed with tender, flavorful corned beef, and the marble rye paired perfectly with the melted provolone. The Fireman was just as impressive--the lox was fresh, the scallion cream cheese added the perfect amount of flavor, and the everything bagel had a great balance of crunch on the outside and chewiness on the inside. There was a long line and a bit of a wait but it was completely worth it. I can definitely see why this place is so popular, and I'll be back to try more of the menu.

They serve great New York style bagels and sandwiches. We came on a Saturday (4th of July, in fact) around 11 am and I was expecting the line to be out the door. To our surprise, there wasn't much of a line! It was fairly crowded inside with people waiting for their orders, but once we ordered we only waited about 10-15 min. I love lox bagels, so I opted for The Fireman and ordered it open faced. It was absolutely delicious. The bagel sandwich had a good amount of salmon and was very filling. We also tried the New Yorker, which was a pastrami sandwich and it was delicious and packed with meat! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the search for a new bagel/sandwich place.

I ordered the onion bagel with chive cream cheese, bacon, and a vanilla iced latte. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich with the cheddar jalapeno bagel, pepperjack cheese, and jalapeno cream cheese. We devoured everything! The bagels were so perfectly toasted and the flavor of everything was so good. The side of bacon I ordered was really crispy which is exactly how I like it! If we lived in the area, I know we would be regulars here. It's spacious inside, their window of bagels is very big compared to other places, and they were stocked with all the different types. Walked in and ordered from the screen -- which is fine -- but be prepared to wait longer than expected, even when it's not particularly busy. Tried a bagel with cream cheese, and this is where things really fell off. The bagel itself was large, but the cream cheese didn't resemble anything I've had before -- the texture and taste were off to the point we ended up scraping it off and tossing it. At close to $6, I'd much rather see quality ingredients over quantity. Overall, very disappointing and not something I'd return for. Saluti.

Stopping in before the kids soccer practice on a Saturday to a packed house. The new owner is a thrill to watch thrive since those days and a part of me felt concerned when covid hit. I know it was brutal for her opening up a new business right before and trying to live up and perfect the craft! I even turned away for awhile in disappointment thinking our town lost a gem, Schmear. If it wasn't for the fact that for a long time this was the only place to get a bagel- I might have never returned, but this girl loves her carbs and a good schmear (NYC is heaven- of course) ! I came back to try every now and again just to get a fix. Einstein Bagels finally made their way into QC and it was definitely a reality hit of quality (hadn't ate there in years). I have yet to return to Einsteins . My favorites: the everything bagels are literally and deeply covered with robust rub, the chive cream cheese amazing, kids love the rainbow bagels, they carry macadamia milk for coffee, and you can grab a bag for $4 of the day old bagels! The bagel has a great yeast starter just about similar to the old Schmear! You can taste the variation. My only complaints: the hours (wish they opened earlier, coffee drinks are way too expensive, they upcharge on the bagel type and cream cheese, they need to expand and feature different schmears from time to time, my biggest concern is consistency. There's times I go in and my bagel was barely toasted, more like warmed bread, times where they barely put cream cheese on (frustrating when they upcharge for chive cream cheese and you got nada). The automatic tipping is starting to become ridiculous. We go in and order our food at the counter, wait for it and throw our own stuff away or even take it to go. There is no "service" and for them to request that we tip 15/20/25 percent at checkout is absurd. They aren't the only establishment doing it and I'm more than sure it's the pay system software they use- but our family is actually at a point to stop going to these places that do that overall. Or we will use an app and order ahead to bypass that awkwardness and pick it up because it's absolutely out of hand! Owners need to address this but they won't understandably as it's more money to them and their employees- for a time (like I said, we've stopped visiting a lot of places like this). If it wasn't for the macadamia milk- I wouldn't bother to buy coffee here. I don't think the coffee overall has a great taste but nonetheless when I stop in during the work week as a treat to myself I'll order just because of this option alone. You can't find many places that offer macadamia milk- yes, there's a $1 up charge for that too. The pistachio shaken espresso at switch brews is much preferred but they don't have great bagels, lol! The owner- she's adorable, sweet, and I love seeing her work side by side with her crew! That's leadership and I will always support that! Plus my daughter and I love her cute eccentric outfits! I feel like I'm in the city instead of bland suburbia. Thank you for jazzing up life around here!! The upkeep and seasonal decor is such a treat and also makes for a great visit too! Adorable decorations to fit the holiday or season and even fresh flowers- LOVE IT! It's those details that make the visit worthy. We love the new outdoor patio set and the available games are great too- I suggest a kids bookshelf! I look forward to her new ideas and seasonal changes- it's what makes QC great. Thank you for maintaining a quality bagel shop in QC.

I stopped by and got an everything bagel and a cheddar green chili bagel, along with some jalapeño cream cheese. Both bagels were fresh, warm, and the perfect amount of chewy and soft. Both were good but the everything bagel is the winner. Their everything bagel blend is so flavorful!! Now I get why I saw it packaged for sale as a seasoning mix. I like the jalapeño cream cheese but I think their scallion cream cheese is even better. You can get bagels as is, with cream cheese or butter etc and then they have breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I'll definitely need to try one of the lunch sandwiches soon! They're in the plaza off Southern, just west of Sprouts, with plenty of parking. Open until 1 or until sold out.

It's the NW corner of McClintock & Sothern, which is where I go to shop at Sprouts or get my car wash at Clean Freak. Location aside, I was pretty disappointed with the bagel. One negative was the price. It cost $8 for the straightforward bagel plus cream cheese with a slice of lox, but if you stepped it up to include capers and onions it would run you $16! I opted for the $8 tier, threw in a $1 tip, got it to go, and dressed it up with capers and onions at home. It was barely flavorful. This was the cheddar jalapeño bagel, and I could barely taste it. The texture was wrong too. Not dense, no real chew, and no glossy exterior. Was this a bun with hole in the middle disguised as a bagel? In addition, the cream cheese was as dull as could be and the lox did not taste fresh or even very lox-like. I only ate half the bagel and threw the rest away. I'm adding an extra star for charm and decor, but I mostly judge a place by its food and not necessarily its aesthetic. Maybe I caught them on an off-day because it seemed pretty popular as it was somewhat busy. I just feel like a Jedi mind-trick was played on me because these were not the bagels I was looking for.
