I miss Einstein bagel. There's not one near my area and a lot of them has closed down so it's nice to get up early in the morning and grab a delicious bagel. They has something called a hot honey smear and actually that was delicious and that filled me up for the rest of the day for mega con my niece got avocado toast, but she claims that the avocado wasn't rip and it could've used some lime. I guess she has a specific way of eating her avocado toast. I had a mocha which was delicious and rich in flavor. read more

First, a disclaimer is I have reviewed this business before and am adding this as I have had a few instances of this happening. The restaurant remains clean and the workers friendly in interactions. For the most part, the food is good and what you would expect from a bagel shop. My disappointment comes from the lack of fulfilling the order with the quality expected for take out. Several times I have gotten my food home to find that the bagel and lox ordered has very little cream cheese. I let the staff know and they told me to make sure I ask for adequate or a lot of cream cheese, which is what I did. Yesterday, I brought the bagels home again to find the same thing. The bagel has a very thin layer of cream cheese. I have posted pictures below. This is very disappointing, as it's almost like someone is spreading cream cheese as thin and fast as they can. I would love for this to get resolved, as I love this breakfast spot. Will I return - yes; and I will continue to see if this gets better. I would love to be able and change this to a 4 or 5 star, but can't at this time due to quality for price paid. read more

Sad to say Einstein has lowered their safety & sanitary standards. They have no uniform policy in place that includes acceptable and unacceptable jewelry, especially nose ring & tongue piercing. I find it disgusting when the employees adjust their nose rings & tongue rings then touching my bagels. Absolutely disgusting! As a courtesy, I reach out to the general manager to bring this to his attention but no response. I was a loyal customer spending over $300 a month & will not return until they rectify their unsanitary and safety issues. read more

Went to Einstein Bagels this weekend. It was clean and not too packed, which was nice for a weekend. The staff were friendly and cool. I had the Farmhouse Bagel with two eggs. It was a little peppery but not too much, just right. I enjoyed it and will be back to try other stuff! read more

I tried Einstein Bros after seeing a bagel my coworker had and it looked so good! I tried the Chorizo Sunrise Signature Breakfast Sandwich on the cheesy hash brown gourmet bagel and first thought was wow it's large! It was the biggest bagel/breakfast sandwich I've had and it was very flavorful from the chorizo and sauce. I paired it with the vanilla cream cold brew and it wasn't my favorite, it could of had more sweetener as it tasted like watered down coffee after a few sips. However, I would go back to try other bagels as there were so many to choose from! Definitely something for everyone if you are a morning or bread person. read more

I came on Sunday around 11:30am, not sure if they just had a breakfast rush or what but the place was a disaster and the employees looked overworked and annoyed. I walked up to the area where you order and then you walk down to pay for your meal. While I was standing waiting to order this lady just looked at me and continued making bagel sandwiches and finally she looked at me again and said "you don't order here, you order down there". Ok....this must be new? Anyway I walk down and I ordered a Lox and bagel and a six cheese bagel with Honey Almond cream cheese. Lox and bagel was made perfectly but the other bagel barely had any cream cheese on it, it was so light you literally wouldn't even know there was cream cheese on it. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed a lot of other customers were asking for napkins and the coffee was out. Before Covid, I would have given this location 5 stars but during Covid, it seemed they were using Covid to not allow any seating which on our last visit during the main Covid time we had ordered & walked out after waiting over 15 minutes for 2 bagels - no sorry that's absurd with only 1 person in front of us. We had even asked the guy how many items he ordered thinking it was a large order - it was only 3 -- so no clue what was going on but we were hungry & there is a restaurant next door - so off we went. Fast forward apx a year, recently I had gone in & got what used to be my favorite- The Chorizo Sunrise on an everything bagel. My everything bagel was missing about half of the "everything" topping making the meal just taste bland. I understand restaurants are trying to cut costs, but using half of the everything topping - is just not the place. I was so annoyed that I pretty much thought that would be my last visit, ever. Until today, I had 15 minutes between appointments & was starving & in desperate need of coffee. I attempted to go to Starbucks however the line was so backed up - I didn't bother. Ugh I thought - ok I will get something from Einsteins to at least hold me over & I've always loved the iced caramel macchiato. Well to my surprise I was immediately greeted by a very friendly guy who got me in & out super quick. I sat down to cram my Spinach Florentine Bagel down my throat as quickly as possible lol - & noticed how pleasant the guy was to everyone. My bagel was fantastic but the star of the show today was Wallace ( I asked his name prior to leaving) It was so refreshing to see a cashier have an engaging demeanor. Breakfast place, went there at 11 am morning, was crowded. There are two counters- one for ordering n the other for payment. We ordered a regular coffee (3$) and a everything bagel toasted with veg cream cheese. It was ok, nothing great. Not enough chewy as it should be. They also sell orange juice in transparent plastic cups. I was about to take them but on enquiring realised they fill them from minutemaid cans, not freshly squeezed. All in all, this particular Einstein Bros. Bagels does a good job of bringing bagels and coffee to the masses. Bagel and Shmear for the win. Einstein is always a good option and I've been eating at different locations since 1997. The food is the same no matter the location you visit. Love their cinnamon sugar bagel toasted with strawberry shmear. Their tasty Turkey sandwich is also a great choice and you're able to customize which flavor bagel you'd like it on. I typically choose the everything bagel for my sandwiches. Today I had the lox on an et bagel and it was the perfect brunch option. Then separately I bought the hashbrown quiche thing which was dry and didn't have much cheese and came with orange juice for $3.50. The orange juice was bitter and the hashbrown thing was just okay. I have always been a big fan of Einstein bagels as far as chain bagel shops go. Their bagels are just better than other chains. Usually I get the everything bagel with some cream cheese on the side, but this visit I decided to switch it up a bit. I saw what appeared to be a delicious bagel calling my name in their case; a jalapeño cheddar bacon bagel, I ordered it toasted with cream cheese on the side; it did not disappoint. The bagel was delicious with the right amount of spice from the jalapeños. I placed an order for the app for breakfast to be picked up. When I showed up, no one was at the counter. I had to wait 10 minutes to finally someone come out to tell me that the ovens were broken and they could not make breakfast. When I went to ask for a refund, they said they couldn't do it. I was pleased to see Einstein had a presence in Orlando when we moved here. Not as many locations as in Washington DC so it's more of a treat to visit their locations. The only thing this location lacks is a little customer service. New Update: I've been frequenting this Einstein's location now for several years (it's on my way to work). Recently, a young man has been managing the store and it's efficient, always has all bagel choices. However, when this new manager is not there, service is slow and unorganized. My husband said his turkey sausage sandwich was good. They must of been really busy because it appeared like a bomb went off and were a little disorganized. I've ordered and paid via the app. It asks what kind of car you are in during checkout. I then pulled up to the curb of the restaurant and someone came out with my order. The only bagels place in Dr Phillips area. This place is super busy but also super fast. We got in with about 30 people in the store and was able to sit outside and eat in less than 15 mins.
