I have been coming in here a lot lately as I live down the street. I sometimes sit and do work for hours so I for sure can say I spend tons of time in this Einstein's. Every time I come I am impressed. Every. Single. Time. The staff is SO NICE! Especially the manager - at least I assume he is the manager - he is always going out of his way to help people and make them feel welcome. The food is always great and I have never had an issue with my order. The one time I saw an issue with someones order here was it took a bit to long - mind you the guy was not getting impatient at all - and they sincerely apologized and told him to pick a sweet for the inconvenience. That's what they do here...go above and beyond because they are amazing at customer service. Not after the fact when someone is mad. Bottom line is I love this place. Came in on Nov 4 2017 hor my free bagel and smear with purchase. I had a raisin, cinnamon bagel with honey almond and I ordered a small hot chocolate with almond milk. Before the credit on the bagel, the price came up to over 7 and change...WOW!!! Then it came up to 4 and change after the discount making it alittle better but I just think this place is way overpriced but I'm a member of the smear club so I will only come in when I can get a discount, like my free Birthday egg sandwich(with purchase of course) but at least I'm getting a deal and points for more free stuff..... Hubby ran in for what was supposed to be a quick trip for bagels to go. While I sat in the parking lot I didn't note how long I waited, but it was longer then usual and hubby confirmed the long wait inside. The pumpkin bagels didn't seem fresh, and had waaaay too much cream cheese to the point where globs and globs were dropping out of them onto our shirts. Have to say, after coming here multiple times this is by far the worst. The store was terribly messy. My wife used the women's bathroom and told the staff it was disgusting and they wanted to know why she thought that, instead of saying "thanks " and sending someone to clean it. The floors in the seating area were terrible. As pictures show. There was a two other people in the restaurant while we were there and the 3 guys working were standing behind the counter talking, plenty of time to have someone to at least make an attempt to clean up. We did not get a receipt when we paid, so my wife went up to get one as we were eating and the guy printed it up and wanted to talk to my wife about the dirty bathroom at the counter while a customer was waiting to pay. Surprisingly enough this would be my first time reviewing this place even though I come here at least once a week. I would say on Saturdays it has been a recent tradition to pick up the Applewood Bacon and Cheddar on an Ancient Grain bagel. Of course it's a must to add on the double egg to that extra delicious egg flavor and not a substitute base egg like most other places! To go with my egg sandwich, I have to compliment this with a cold brew and a splash of almond milk to maintain the coffee bean flavors. I'm not a native to Einstein's, however; this is the first time I have been to this location. I love to go to Einstein's specifically for their chai tea. I like to customize mine a certain way as they are sometimes to sweet. The first customer service clerk I spoke to who took my order didn't adequately listen to what I wanted in my chai. I had to remind the second rep since it wasn't labeled on my order and when I got it, I could already tell that she had put to much chai syrup in my drink. It was extremely sweet and due to the amount of people in the restaurant, I didn't want to waste the energy of asking them to make it over again. I used to frequent this Einstein's a lot during my high school years. I usually got an asiago bagel with regular schmear and their iced white chocolate mocha. I always received outstanding service by the guys working and they definitely seemed to appreciate my service. The coffee was so good. Very sugary, but that's exactly how I liked my mochas! I'm not sure what this 'Caribou Coffee' is now, but when I was at the airport I had unknowingly ordered a Caribou Coffee, thinking it was the original Einstein's coffee, and ended up forking over $7 for a regular mocha! I think this is a little ridiculous, and while I haven't been to my local location recently, I'm only assuming prices for this coffee will ballpark around what I paid at the airport. This location in particular is very busy in the mornings, so be prepared if you're looking to get something for yourself or the team before work or school. read more

Shortly after walking in, the guy behind the counter was cussing about someone leaving the front door open 'she didn't leave the f'ng door open again? Did she? Why can't people shut the f'ng door!?' Then after the order was given, we asked for some cream for the coffee and without a word or eye contact, the lady behind the counter just points to where the creamer is... I know it sounds minor, but it was very rude! I asked others in the area if they had similar experiences, because I allow for off days for people, but the consensus was all the same. I spend a lot of my hungry time stopping by Einstein's for bagels, etc and have done so for at least eight years. Today I had another great experience. Today I had a minor problem. The GM Terry resolved it immediately. All the employees are super friendly. The bagels are always fresh. The bagel sandwiches are unique and really delicious. I've never had a bad bagel. I would highly recommend if you're in a hungry mood to stop by and pick up something to taste. They have sweets as well, and a new item is lemon poppyseed cake with frosting that is so tasty--not too sweet--and I'm happy to see that it's wrapped now for freshness. Give this location a try. I love Einstein Bagels. but this location, not so much. I always order the Nova Lox and I usually order it through door dash but this location is hit or miss. Sometimes they don't spread the cream cheese all the way. One time they forgot my capers but luckily I had some at home. Sometimes they give me only the hard parts of the tomato and sometimes they get it just right. And then sometimes. They give you different bagel bread than the one you asked for. read more

About what one would expect from a conglomerate fast food chain as far as the food quality goes, but what was especially remarkable today was the very poor customer service. I sat outside, and when the employee brought my lunch out and did not bring a fork, she acted almost joyous that she got to tell me that I have to go inside to get my own fork. John, the district manager contacted me in response to the poor display of professionalism and general lack of humanity I witnessed as a described in my last review. He asked me to brief him on what had happened on Sunday and I explained how is stand-in manager was acting like a two year old and creating a hostile work environment for other employees, and an overall tense and awkward atmosphere for customers. He took my concern seriously and seemed genuinely empathetic. He stated that Einstein's does not tolerate this type of behavior and he's very saddened and disappointed that Cody behaved this way, especially in front of customers. John assured me that he and the general manager would address the issue and also go over possible training flaws to prevent this in the future. Overall, I'm glad that someone in management is now aware. Hopefully the service, atmosphere, and Cody's ethics will improve and he can learn and grow from this experience instead of regress. read more

Horrible customer service displayed by Vanna the shift manager. I came here on Thursday and arrived shortly before 7am. No one was up front when I entered, so I stood there awkwardly for about 3 minutes before Vanna came to take my order. No smile, no greeting, just "know what you want". I placed my order and moved to the register. Vanna came to the register a few minutes after making mine, and another patrons bagels (and running to the back about half a dozen times). She shoved the bagel in my hand and mumbled something about needing to get her till. So I'm standing there with the bagel, my credit card, again waiting on her. Customer service was awful. A million things could've happened that morning to create a hectic start to the day, but the customer shouldn't know it. A shift manager should be friendly, inviting, and quick, or at least apologize if there are obvious issues. Too bad she didn't get the memo. read more

This review has everything to do with guest perception. We waited more than 20 minutes for our order. Even though there was 4 associates behind the counter, only one of them was in charge of actually making food. This place was dirty, the associates were just messing around and on their phones. Then out of no where what looked to be their supervisor walks in with his phone blaring music and a vape pen in his hand goes behind the counter to finally jump in and help.. mind you it's not like the store was busy. This is the Einstein location closest to my house. Worst experience this morning ever. I usually go around the same time between 7&7:30. Three people working the poor kid taking orders was overwhelmed and obviously Japanese was his first language. The only other two in the front were making breakfast orders. Funny that ALL of the premium bagels were stocked but only about 2/3 if that of the regular bagels. No blueberry, no cinnamon raisin among a lot of others. And standing at the register forever I was ready to walk out. I'm standing there with a dozen bagels almost $17.00 and the other two guys were more concerned with making bagel and cream cheese sandwiches that cost less then $3.00 while I'm standing there like an idiot. No help. No bagels. Why even be open? At least I got my cranberry bagels. But other then that it was a pure waste of time to even go today.
