My wife and I stopped in yesterday for a quick bite at lunch time and... what happened to this place?? We were appalled by how rude the young lady at the counter was. She was rude with the gentleman in front of us. His name was Brian. I know this because she was screaming it when his order was ready. He came to the counter to grab his slices and she rolled her eyes, scoffed, and said something under her breath. She was very short with us also as we were ordering and her negative attitude was wild to see. God forbid we have any questions. She was also very nasty with a woman who came in to pick up an order just after we placed ours. Not sure what that young lady's problem was, but she probably shouldn't work in customer service, or someone should take the time to help her understand the importance of treating guests with a hospitable attitude. The pizza was ok, but we will not be back. We don't patronize establishments that make us feel like a burden, and treat their customers poorly. Someone should tell the owner that's how businesses fail, poor customer service. Hospitality is definitely not a priority here, and there are plenty of restaurants to spend our money in that will make us feel welcome. Big thumbs down for this place. This was the barros lake pleasant and happy valley. The past two times they completely screwed up and did nothing. The first time I walked in and ordered and repeated and said it's thin crust correct she said yes then it comes out not thin crust and I asked sauce on side for the wings. Sauce was on it. But I had to go and they did nothing. Second time today employee was super nice who cashed me out but I pre ordered at 3.05 asked for 3:45 pick up I show up at 3:50 and the order just went in. I ordered food from them through doordash. An hour and a half later it hasn't arrived. When we called barrows they said they already gave it to the delivery driver. I don't know who they gave it to but it wasn't the delivery driver and I never received it and I never got a refund and that's a bunch of money that just went down the drains and my grandsons went hungry. Got takeout. Pizza is good. Mushrooms and pepperoni were quite tasty. But at what cost...there was so much grease it seeped through the box onto the table it was on. Visited the area for my son's baseball tournament and after a long day we wanted something easy for dinner. While the reviews on here are very mixed- it was close and the prices are on point. We had 2 large pizzas with regular crust. One cheese and one pineapple/ham with half jalapeños. I ordered it online which was super fast and simple, gave me a wait time and allowed me to pay, when I arrived they greeted me immediately and asked my name. Checked on my food, let me know it would be a few moments. About 5 minutes later a very nice taller gentlemen called my name. The food was done about 4 minutes early. The food was 3.5/5 . I order from or eat here at least a few times a month Partly because it's close to where I live but also because I love it! It's consistently good! If I'm getting takeout, I use their app which makes ordering simple. They also have a nice sized dining room if we decide to dine-in. I highly recommend the Kona if you're a fan of pineapple on pizza. It's delicious and it's my favorite! Service is standard and we've never had an issue with our food being messed up. The wings, boneless or traditional; bread sticks, and of course the pizza! This was our first time eating at the restaurant and it was great, we will probably be going in more often when it is just our little family. we have been patrons of Barr's Pizza for decades. Recently the renovated Greenway store must have revised their pizza recipe. The last one ordered was a big disappointment. There was no sauce (or negligible) on the pizza which is what made that particular pizza great! Maybe since all things in packages or food items are cheating buyers/customers to save a few cents. All items you purchase in a store today has downsized or are cheating on quantity in some way - this is Barro's way of saving money, I guess. I am hoping it was an off day for the chef. Hi neighbors! We want to find a new pizza place. Barros is not cutting it anymore. Greasy Breadsticks with cheese with barely any cheese for $9 including tax. Last three the times family complained. I took them back this time, the next day. Manager couldn't do anything and no refund. I took photos. Never buying from them again, it's a warning to these businesses need to know we're paying for quality. Competition in business - there's tons of options! I love this pizza! BUT the lunch time service is terrible. They always seem understaffed during 11:30-1pm. Most of the time you have to wait for pepperoni to be ready. What I love about Barro's is the consistency of their food - even in different locations. It is just plain good pizza - nothing real unique, but it is pizza done well! You can't beat their lunch specials of slices...great big slices and cheap! They always have Cheese or pepperoni ready to eat and then each day a different specialty slice.
