I came in on a Saturday morning at 9am. Luckily the line wasn't long only one person ahead. The young girl at the counter immediately said are you ready, um No I just walked in & need a moment. It was just that a moment & I placed my order six cheese, toasted w/veggie spread & a small coffee. I guess I was thrown off by the clerks what else, okay what else. She should of been a little politer as in saying would care for anything else Also there were 4 employees working 1 in back, I imagine the baker & 3 in front the young girl needs to take the order & hand it off to the other two & ring in the order, not also stop make the order. Because now the lines out the door. It has been awhile since I had a bagel from here & I don't know what is different except it doesn't taste like an authentic NY bagel which I have had, I think if your going to sell bagels you need to keep the recipe original. Not my favorite at all, actually Vons at seaward has great bagels for being a grocery store! Within the first bite you're met with delicious flavors and the creaminess of the sauce and avocado. If I could rate this bagel it would be a solid 10/10. As for the ambiance of the area, I would say it's a bit small, I did wish it were more spacious because around the time I got here it was pretty packed. (line out the door) but very simple decor. Looked like about 10 cramped customers were inside...so hard to see its butt tight and so many people inside. I couldn't even see the counter from outside. Either they're severely understaffed or extremely (I mean tortoise) slow. Was probably going to take 45 minutes to 1 hour at this place for a bagel wow. Won't even consider again.
