    Maplehouse Egg Sandwich

Love this place. I went here for my birthday freebie and am never disappointed. Definitely depends on when you go because sometimes it's too hot in this location but besides that wait time isn't too long and the food and drinks are good.

I decided to give Einstein in Towson a visit today . The onion bagels were good as was the service ! They are still using the portable A C units

Ham, egg, and cheese on a green chile bagel- to-go! It was too hot and smokey inside to eat in anyways

Great place that's nice and local to me (essentially adjacent to my apartment). I've been before -usually after hiking- and it's usually pretty packed /steady in the mornings until close (at 2, Apple Maps shows). The bagels are always fresh. I usually go with a plain thin bagel or, this time, went with a green chile bagel (some spice!). As shown in my photo, I ordered the ham, egg, and cheese on green chile bagel and it was under $10USD! It's definitely enough for two meals if you're like me. As side notes, I applaud the working staff for working in really difficult conditions ( I was told the restaurant has no a/c and so now they have portable a/c units throughout the area which said 82)! Also, oddly, a whole bag of food fell off the shelf into the floor without being touched while I looked on. I reported that to the staff. This is a high recommend! They even printed my name correctly on my slip!

This was my second trip here. The employees are friendly and attentive. I got a free everything bagel with smear for joining the rewards on the app. I also ordered a 6 cheese bagel with bacon egg and cheese. It was so fresh and delicious. My friend ordered a pretzel bacon egg and cheese bagel. I think he enjoyed his just as much as I enjoyed mine. For the drink we ordered caramel macchiato with whipped cream. This place is definitely a go to. I would drive out of my way to get breakfast from here. Both times I forgot to take photos. I managed to grab a photo of my everything bagel and that was it. I will try to grab more photos next time.

    Texas Brisket Sandwich

"Number two most liked sandwich" according to DoorDash. I decided to go in person, and there was a huge picture hanging showing "The Texas Brisket Sandwich." False advertisement once I opened up my bagel. There was hardly any brisket on the sandwich. It honestly tasted like an egg sandwich. The toaster was broken so it wasn't as good as I would have wanted it to be. Below is the comparison between what is advertised and what I received.

Love it here! They need one by me in Jersey. Such good breakfast sandwiches that are full of flavor. They're quick to serve and are friendly. The sandwich isn't so messy to eat but when something is that good, you don't care about the ooziness. Can't wait to go back.

I arrived 11 minutes after the pickup time but could not find my order. I asked and found out the reason my order wasn't ready was because the cookie I ordered was not available. I had to settle for a cookie I didn't even want. The macaroni was completely overcooked and mushy. I threw most of this away. Oddly enough, Potbelly sent me a review request which I was happy to provide feedback with all of the above. That was 6 days ago. Part of the review process, they asked if they would be able to contact me to follow up regarding my feedback. I provided my contact info, but have never heard back. I guess they really don't care about customers either new or repeat. Their lack of feedback has solidified my view on my experience and I will not be back. Not even to redeem the free cookie they promised for my feedback or the free sandwich they promised for using the app.

Each year has been phenomenal service from beginning to end. From the placing of the order to me calling to verify, and then my picking it up, it's always been smooth, friendly, and professional. They helped me bring the food to my van. In addition to the great customer service, naturally the food was fantastic!!! Always top-notch sandwiches, salads, chips, and cookies as well as sides/toppings. Everyone that evening thoroughly enjoyed the food! I highly recommend the Towson location and certainly will use them again!!!

Update on Grubhub order... I normally rate Jersey Mike with…read more5 stars, but this order was not to my standards. I am very picky about my food and how it is handled. I think to help combat food contamination, the prep maker needs to clean off the knife every time they cut their subs. I had the Club sub, like always, but mine had some extra stuff that I didn't ask for like their was a piece of roast beef that happen to tag along with my sub which doesn't come with my sub, as well on the cut tip of the sandwich had the taste of hots, which I do not like and surprisingly I got a mouthful. Not good.

FYI, it is easier to enter from Joppa Road even though it has a Putty Hill Avenue address - it is across from where DSW shoes used to be. They have about 3 tables to eat in. Not knowing the drill, we had to figure out that you needed to go to the back of the store to order your food. They take your order. What was impressive was that the cold meats and cheeses were cut to order. The subs come in 3 sizes - mini, regular, and giant. You order by #. All subs are made to order. We had a #17 ($18.65), which was a Mike's Famous Philly that normally comes with grilled onions, peppers & white American cheese. We asked for ours to have just the meat, provolone and mayo. I wish I had thought to say light mayo, because it had way too much on the sub. The rolls were soft, but a lot of bread. The other sub we ordered was a #13 ($17.95) which was The Original Italian, which came with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni - then they added lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. This sub was loaded with meat and cheese. The subs are not inexpensive - the minis run about $7.45, regular $10.25, and giant $17.95 (depending on what sub you order). Don't be surprised to see when you check out there is a request for a tip!

I'm a big fan of cinnamon raisin pretzels and was happy to see that theirs didn't come with extra cinnamon sugar on top. They do offer a separate cinnamon sugar pretzel for those who prefer that. The glaze on the cinnamon raisin pretzel was perfect for me. My husband tried the pecan caramel pretzel as well as an original, with a large orangeade. What I appreciated most about the cinnamon raisin pretzel was its freshness and the fact that it wasn't overly sweet. The original pretzel had just the right amount of salt, which was great. We didn't care for the pecan caramel pretzel much. The pecans were a bit too toasted and it lacked caramel. The orangeade was delicious! I'll definitely be returning because the service was great and the quality of the pretzels really stands out. The all-beef pretzel dog is next on my list!
