Any day at the airport is stressful, but I just had the most cheerful experience at Einstein Brothers bagel in the Tulsa airport terminal a. Kaitlyn, a young lady behind the counter taking orders was friendly, courteous , attentive to detail, and most of all she was cheerful and friendly. There was a line at least 12 people deep and she looked everyone in the eye and wish them a good morning before offering to take their order. It's just what I needed today plus my bagel was perfect. There was a long wait at 6:00 in the morning. When we finally got to the counter they were out of several popular items. The food itself was so bad we didn't finish it. The bagels were not toasted, but instead microwaved which made them chewy. Several people had waited so long to receive their food that they left after already having paid. Unfortunately, this is one of the few food options at the Tulsa airport. I recommend eating prior to your arrival if you can if you're flying out around breakfast hours. read more

I honestly don't think there could be a worse breakfast in a first world country offered. We ordered a cinnamon twist and whole wheat bagel with a side of cream cheese and two coffees. The cinnamon twist was beyond stale, it nearly broke a tooth. It was hot because it had been under the warmer but could be used as a weapon rather than something for consumption. Security should ban them. As for my bagel with side of cream cheese... the entire supply of cream cheese was place between my bagel. I couldn't even get it out of the bag without getting my fingers dirty with cream cheese. I couldn't even taste the bread which I guess is okay, as it was also stale. The coffee was okay but I did ask room for cream and there wasn't room but I guess that is okay since there was no creamer (and no napkins) anyway. This place is so crappy. Save your money and starve. Also, a side note which doesn't matter because who is really friendly at 5am? But, the teller literally shrugged her shoulders when the gentleman ahead of me asked if there was any cold drinks as the drinks in fridge were lukewarm. read more

When ordering I asked the person if they put spread on both sides of the bagel, because dry bagels are terrible and I wanted to purchase extra if needed. They stated yes, so I did not purchase extra. After receiving bagel I started eating. Once I pulled the second half out there was zero spread. I took it back to the counter and asked them to put spread on the second half and the person making the bagels stated no they only out it on one side and you have to pay extra for more. I did not have time to wait and pay, so I left the bagel on the counter and walked away. She says I need to count change. Mind you the other location in A gate is a walk. I asked how long? She said a minute. Like one minute? She said no a minute and we need to leave. Horrible. As I walked up, no one behind the counter, was told we don't have any bagels. I said that's ok I wanted coffee. Lady said ok and continued what she was doing (unpacking water). Staff couldn't even get me a receipt so I could add points since it wasn't offered, she wouldn't even ask the woman at the register to print it for me, I had to get back in line (and you know the airport food lines aren't short). This location also does not accept rewards coupons, which the website leads you to believe it does from the airport location specifically, tricking you into becoming a rewards member. (Yes, I became a rewards member for a free bagel and shmear and then wasn't offered the receipt so I could at least collect my points from it since I didn't get to use my welcome gift). read more

Awful. First of all, they don't accept the Einstein Bagels app for payment or rewards. They have about 1/3 the items regular Einstein locations have. This store has the stupidest customer service ever. I order a bagel with two eggs, and it took 15 mins to make it, and it was cold and only with one egg in it. I sent it back to them and ask them to hear it up and put my second egg back after I eat half of them because I can't chew the cold bagel! And then they put the egg in and did not heat up the bagel, I sent it back again and it take 10 more mins for them to do it again, it almost make me miss my flight!!!! I grew up in MN with tons of Caribou Coffee and was so excited to see an Einstein's/Caribou location at the Tulsa Airport! I travel to Tulsa every 2 weeks and always make a point to grab my Caribou, which was great the first two months!! My breakfast bagels were fabulous and coffee perfect. Since then the service, coffee and overall experience has been a complete disappointment. Each visit I see several people who have to ask where their food or coffee is as the team has somehow lost their order. They are often out of milk alternatives and consistently get orders wrong. This past visit I only caught the error when I looked at my receipt which said 2% milk instead of almond milk. I brought it to the cashiers attention and she asked the barista if she had started my order yet. She had not as she said she never got the order, again. The cashier then told her I had changed my mind and actually wanted almond milk and did not take responsibility for the mistake or apologize to me. Mistakes happen and I am an understanding person.. but blaming the customer when she confirmed almond milk twice while taking my order left a terrible taste in my mouth (no pun intended!). I wish this was an isolated incident, but it's not. The breakfast bagels have somehow gotten greasier each visit, the coffees are filled less than 3/4 full and the service is terrible. As a longtime Caribou customer I hate to write this review. But after several visits of consistently frustrating interactions with employees, less than 3/4 full coffees, extremely greasy bagels and just a generally poor experience I wanted to alert the manager and Caribou Coffee to these two locations at the Tulsa Airport. I don't believe this is the experience Caribou or Einstein's would like to offer their patrons, and I hope they can get the additional training or oversight they need to improve. read more

They took orders fast enough but took their own sweet time to prepare them...then when passengers were looking worried and got their orders....ours were half done!! What a waste! The food was good in which I ordered a farmhouse sandwich on a hash-brown bagel without any meat. After, 15-20 plus minutes waiting in the line I received the sandwich with ham. The manager on that day 10/11/2019 is the one who made my sandwich. I informed her what I ordered in which my receipt clearly illustrated, she proceeded to snatch/forcefully grab my bag and throw it in the trash can. I asked why would she snatch my bag with such attitude and her response was because we are busy, but I'm sorry. I told her that was not an acceptable response and she walked away.
