This bagel and coffee spot is super conveniently located for me, so I sometimes stop on my way to work if I want a quick breakfast option. Parking on weekday mornings in Town Center is a breeze. I like the coffee and bagels (Asiago with garlic and herb cream cheese - yum!) but the service takes some of the convenience out of this location. Almost every time I get my bagel promptly, but they forget about my coffee. I typically wait through several customer orders, until finally admitting that they've forgotten again, and have to give a good midwestern "I'm so sorry, excuse me, could I maybe just get my coffee real quick if you have a second?" It adds a good amount of time into what I hoped would be a quick stop. Finally, another bagel spot! There is only one other bagel spot around this part of town and I don't really like going there all the time. It's nice to have another option. They were fully stocked at 9:30 this morning, which is saying a lot because usually most the bagels are sold out at the other nearby establishments. I do believe this is due to the fact that this location just recently opened up and does not have marked locations on most sites, their own website doesn't even have this location marked under the "Find Us" page on then website. Since this location is partnered up with Caribou coffee, they have a lot of drink options as well. Caribou coffee has good drinks, slightly more sweet than I would like but still taste good. Today was my last visit. Hate it as the food and beverages are fine (usually). The customer service is never great, but I guess I've gotten used to it over the years. But every single time I come in (which was weekly until recently), their registers are down or they can't make hot drinks or they can't provide/redeem rewards. It is always something. Every. Single. Time. It's reached the point of being beyond exhausting to come to someplace that is, without fail, unpredictable at best. Bagels are delicious, and the staff is friendly! They are willing to make the bagel sandwiches veg-friendly if you request no meat on their menu items. The bagels are OK - not very dense, more like round bread cakes. The consistency makes for a better sandwich than a bagel to be eaten as a bagel. We ordered to go and my wife had avocado toast bagel and I had the hangover bagel. She said the avocado bagel was beyond disgusting. Too much garlic and it overpowered the simple avocado taste. Old, dusty, and antiquated location. Sort of dark on the inside with some light in a few places. Bought myself a bagel and it was too hard for me feast on. Had some good taste to it there not going to lie.The menu is severely lacking in the coffee and combo meals you can most of the time get from franchises such as Noah's. You would have to order it separately if you needed that. This is no chain shop and I think the people working there need to be more careful with watching the timer on the oven. I sort of pointed that out, but they sort of put me down as soon as I had mentioned that. Nice TV and seating area though, they could have done more to make it kid friendly. I can only give it one star because I never got to order. Sunday afternoon in Va. Beach, I waited in line 20 minutes and never made it to the counter. They had one woman handling everything. This is unacceptible for a food service establishment that only serves bagels. I won't be wasting any more of my precious time waiting for a bagel. read more

I have ordered company breakfast from Einstein Bagels several times over the years and have always had a good experience. Today was by far the worst I have ever been treated in a long time. I ordered two breakfast MEALS, which include a drink and hashbrown. One was for a homeless man that I wanted to do a kind deed for and the other for myself. When the sandwiches came out I told the woman that I was missing my hashbrowns and she had the nerve to tell me that I never ordered the hashbrowns. I told her she needed to fix the problem and give me the hashbrowns since this was their mistake and not mine. She proceeded to tell me that she would not do that and that I needed to get back in line to order and pay for them. I then did a mock order online and the total for the meals came to about the same that I paid them for, about $22. I called the manager to tell her this and she still insisted that I did not pay for the hashbrowns and that I was the rude one. Horrible customer service and probably why she is only trusted to be a supervisor at a fast food place that allows their employees to tell customers that they are in the wrong. I am disappointed that the einstein/caribou combo does not have the full menu from a caribou coffee shop. I really hope we get a true location at the beach. However, the reason for my review is the limited menu at the town center location. You have about half the menu as the location in Chesapeake!! I may live at the beach but I'd rather drive out of my way to the Chesapeake location to get my beloved chicken Florentine sandwich than visit this location again. So disappointing! read more

Big variety of flavors but I didn't realize I needed to ask for them to be toasted at the register. When my order was ready very quickly, I said I didn't realize it and ask if I could get a couple toasted. The lady told me we don't do that... Was so excited to try the store. Went in this afternoon. One person in front of me and ot took me a half hour to get out. Customer service was not good. Cashier dropped five of my bagels on the floor and was basically like "oops...sorry. we don't have any more of those." Asked about ingredients because of an allergy. Cashier did not offer to look up ingredients for me. I had to go to the website myself and look them up. Had he not already run my card, I would have cancelled the bagels.
