Would recommend Momi, fairly nearby, over this place, hands down. Not a fan of their too sweet and too much burger sauce that our bacon cheeseburgers were doused in. I don't think burgers should be sweet. Meat was char grilled and not dry, but I couldn't detect that it was seasoned. Again, the sweet sauce overwhelmed. Parking is horrendous. read more

I save 5 stars for fine dining. So 4 stars is tops in my book for burgers. This little place is always clean, always friendly service. Food good, hot & fresh. Been here several times. Their special sauce they put on burgers & chicken sandwiches is very tasty and I'm a person that don't care for any added odd sauce to my sandwiches. My wife had the california burger and she was very impressed. She's never been to a burger joint that has ever exceeded her expectations until today! Quality of food is excellent! I had the bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños and I will have to admit it's the best tasting bacon cheeseburger I've had to date! The house sauce is very good! My 6 and 9yr old daughters had the kids meal with 6 piece nuggets and they couldn't stop praising how delicious it was. Clean and friendly employee's. Ordered the chicken Katsu burger and it was huge! Two chicken patties battered and fried with katsu sauce, cheese and coleslaw. Mine didn't have enough sauce for my liking, but I simply asked them for extra sauce and they gave me a lot on the side. They definitely have an eclectic mix of food on their menu - offering both burgers and fries and some Asian dishes like potstickers. Nothing wrong with that though! read more

We love this place. I'm eating my fave The CA Burger right now. It's big enough to share (1/3 pound patty) plus comes with fresh HOT fries. A Big Mac is good but doesn't fill me up, no avocado and fries are extra. More money too if you buy two with fries which half the time are cold. My go to place.... read more

We live a block away from this place and we just discovered it a couple of months ago. We've gone a half dozen times since then. I'm a plain burger eater. My wife likes the burgers loaded. We are never disappointed. The fries are made fresh in the restaurant (you can see the stacks of potato bags). They make the shakes with real ice cream. We walk in hungry, go home fat. They have a discount if you go in during lunchtime, usually saving us about 4 dollars on two orders of burgers, fries and shakes. It's nice to find a place with good, affordable food. And the service is always fast and friendly. They holler "hello" when you come in the door, and "thank you" as you head out. Spread the word! read more

Not overly impressed with this place. My husband I went there tonight and ordered to go. The fries were so greasy (not to mention soggy and cold)) that when we got out of the BRAND NEW car that we just bought on Sunday, there was a grease size stain about the size of a toy car on our seat... Also the burgers weren't that great. My husband ordered the Texas burger and it had way too many jalepenos, lettuce, and the bun was soggy due to the house sauce. I wouldn't recommend going here. Really good burger. Would rate it a 5 if they were charbroiled vs. fried on a flat top but thats just me. The quality of ingredients were all top notch. I stopped here on my way home from a long day at work just about 20 minutes before closing. The guys in charge were mopping and getting ready to close, but waved me in anyway. I ended up ordering the California burger to go. Holy. Crap. It was so good! The sauce was awesome and the seasoning was delish. I'd probably nix the avocado next time because it really gets slippery and messy. The fries were also great. Boxes of potatoes sat near the register making it clear that they make them fresh. I heard from a couple of friends that EJ Burger had really delicious burgers and their fries were bomb too. So finally I had a chance to try this place out today, first of customer service was excellent! The owner instantly greeted us right as we stepped foot in the restaurant. So this was my first time, and I was so indecisive on which burger to chose so I asked the owner and he happily recommended me either the California burger or the EJ burger, I tried the EJ burger and my friend had the Teriyaki burger; both were delicious, juicy, and the burger was the perfect size. Not too big or not too small. We also ordered a 10 piece chicken nuggets and that was also delicious with the crunchiness of the outside and juicy on the inside. Another thing I noticed was the owner walked around and asked us and the other customers if everything was okay, that shows he cares about his customers. Overall I think this place is a must go if you are craving a delicious burger or they even had fish and chips. I would definitely come back to EJ Burger again. I used to frequent this business. Quite a few months ago I think ownership changed. They used to have have the best burgers and fries. The ingredients were fresh. It was clean and friendly. Now it's love of the burger is gone. The floor was filthy. The table hadn't been cleaned. Probably since they opened that morning. The top level of fries were tasty until you get down the first layer, after that they were gross. The burger no longer looks like it was a piece of art made with love, but a sloppy rush job. The ingredients on the burger are no longer fresh like before. These new people are putting profit over quality. Almost wish I had went to McDonalds instead.
