Nothing really special about this place. It's a small little burger place. Came here with my boys and we ordered regular cheese burgers and one kids burger. I have eaten here twice for takeout, both times getting the Bulgogi Burger. It was so good the first time had to get it again! Plenty of options on the menu to explore so you should be able to find something to your liking. Burgers come with fries. With a small upcharge you can get onion rings instead, which came with a small side of sauce for dipping. They also have a small selection of shakes, and I am a sucker for peanut butter. It was not super thick so I could enjoy it right away. The restaurant is clean with plenty of tables for large or small groups. This was a very good hamburger! Exactly what we were looking for, not too simple but also not overly complicated. There is a good selection of different types of burgers, California, bacon cheese, even a katsu burger as well as fish and chips as an entre. I especially appreciated the plentiful portion of hot crispy fries and the thick ice cream shakes. Lastly, the location is convenient with plenty of parking and the staff was very friendly. The Mill Creek location is near our daughter's house and is our go to place for fish and chips. The restaurant is very clean and the location easy to get to. The Kent location is near our house but open only from 10:00 to 3:00. We have not tried it yet. I have had burgers and fish there and each thing I have eaten has been great. My husband and I LOVE EJ Burger. We get take out from here every few weeks and have since they opened, so this review is way past due! I'm a big fan of the California Burger sub chicken for beef, and my husband loves the Hawaiian burger. Lately, I've been on a chicken katsu sandwich kick, which is incredible! The katsu sauce is delicious! We will also sometimes get fish and chips, which are always delicious. They give generous portion sizes of fish that are panko-breaded and fried. The only thing that has disappointed us a bit is that they switched from fresh potato fries that looked soggy, but tasted A-mazing, to frozen fries that are crispy, but not very flavorful. Please bring back the good, homemade French fries!! They were SO much better than the current ones. It's not enough for me to downgrade to 4 stars, because everything else is so good, but I almost took away a star simply because of the fries. read more

Came here on a Thursday night at around 730pm and it was completely empty. I asked the worker there(possibly the owner) when they opened and he informed me they just opened the previous Friday. I just moved nearby and always wanted to stop in this small strip mall that has a Vietnamese and Mexican restaurant right next to this burger place. They have a really expansive burger menu and you can customize your own burger with any toppings you want. The burger I tried because of the worker's recommendation was the California Burger. It cost $10 for the burger and includes fries. Food came out quick and I always nosh on a few fries to get into eating mode, and the fries are pretty much my only complaint here. The consistency in the crispness of the fries wasn't there. But onto the burger and all I have two words for you, HOUSE SAUCE!! The house sauce is amazing and something I haven't really tasted before--it's like this sweet gooey ketchup and was good for dipping the fries in, too. The meat was cooked perfectly and tasty--they juse 100% angus beef. Overall, a good experience. The place is brand new and clean. Value - 4* Food - 5* Customer Service - 4* Ambiance - 3* This is a place I'd go back to if I'm not near a Red Robin, haha. And I'd totally recommend this as the best burger near the Silver Firs area. read more

The burger is back! One of my biggest gripes moving to Clearview WAS driving 20 minutes to the closest burger joint. Not any more, EJ Burger is pretty close to a blazing onion quality for 1/2 the price.....and without driving 40 minutes round trip! My photo says it all. Big burger with all the fixings a mountain of fries for $8. Inside you have granite table tops, comfy chairs, tile flooring everywhere, paper towel dispensers and hand sanitizer everywhere and boxes and boxes of local Washington potatoes, all in a very pleasant environment for eating out. EJ personally took my order and introduced himself, he's very nice. The staff was smiling too and I got the impression they were all family but I'm just guessing. This is a great place to get a burger and fries that are just a step up from other burger joints around the area. I usually get the bacon cheeseburger or the EJ burger, but they have a few different choices, so it's nice to have the variety if you are in the mood to try something different. The only drawback for me is the price. They raised prices way too much that it's just not worth going as often. I suppose that's a good thing though, I probably need to cut back on the red meat and fry intake, lol read more

I had an insatiable burger craving for weeks. Last night we ordered to-go (yes they are still open!) and I had the most amazing bacon cheeseburger. I really appreciate their attention to detail with the sanitized pens for signing receipts. It was my first time there but definitely not my last. Had high hopes for this place but was sadly mistaken. Who puts hole romaine lettuce on a burger? Meat has funny texture. I got the the Korean sauced one that was not anything like I was expecting! My step mother is Korean so I know what their food is all about. I've tried Just about all Korean sauces but this is not to my liking. Struggled to choke down half of it. Wife had the mushroom Swiss burger and said it was just o.k. and we both agreed there are many better burger places locally. The fry sauce is also a joke. Never to return. read more

Nice little mom and pops burger spot! They're "Asian owned" so they have lots of Asian influenced food. Such as, a Bulgogi burger and Katsu-just about anything burgers. Katsu Chicken, beef, salmon and so on. They're ingredients are pretty fresh, and their fries are great! Price wise you get s decent amount of food for what you pay as well. The actual location isn't too big, I'm guessing no more than 30 people would fit comfortably at a time. Really recommend as a good lunch option, if you're in this area. read more

I think the other reviewers were paid or friends of the owner. We wanted a great burger, but wanted to try a new place. While sitting, waiting for our order, I saw one woman throw away nearly her entire meal. I figured she was picky. Well, my husband and I nearly did the same. I don't know what was wrong with the burger meat. It was either deeply frozen or not real beef. It was like chewing on cardboard. The only reviewers are not lying, this place has fantastic burgers! Nice and juicy while still having a slight crunchy char on the outside. Their different burger creations are very creative too. I just got the EJ burger but was able to add bacon and avacado to it as well, so good! I must have missed it on the menu but they do offer gluten free buns as well. The woman was nice enough to let me add it on last minute. I believe they also double fry their fries. Whatever they do, they are nice and crunchy.
