Taco Dorado, Taco Marlin and Taco de Camaron (Shrimp Taco) and Taco de pescado (Fish Taco)

This is a review for the taco take-away spot. There's also a restaurant on the premises. I've been disappointed lately with some well-known Mexican spots in the area. This one was a different story. It exceed my expectations. I don't know why the reviews are so bad for this place because everything that I sampled were delicious. I ordered 4 tacos: Shrimp, Fish, Marlin and Shrimp Dorado. All the taco were great. I saw they had a fish tostada on special for the day and I ordered that after my initial order after seeing many folk ordering it. It was also great. From my experience, no matter what you get. It will be delicious! After bringing home some disgusting food for my wife, I knew I needed to atone for my sins. LOL Since, I really liked the food here. I decided to get the same order for my wife as well. She's a picky eater when it comes to Mexican food and she liked it. That's how I know its good. I got called guero here. I'll take it as a compliment. ; ) They have restrooms for the customers and you can ask for the code. This guero liked the food here!

What can I say.. for convenience this was a quick go to on the way home. Light fares with delicious flavors of the sea. Outdoor seating and kind of quick service. The place is maintained as far as tidiness outside, but in the little shack I'm not quite sure. Today I witnessed a worker packing French fries and she had a glove on. Well that gloved hand picked up fries off of the floor, put them in a box and put to the trash to come back inside the "stand" and continue her packing without a change of gloves. .. idk about you but that equals unsanitary, germs and in an environment where seafood is handled, the potential for heartache at the toilet. No bueno! Not sure this is the place for us anymore. Disappointed to say the least.

My fish taco was delicious today! And Mary always very sweet and very attentive. Great service. Gracias Mary

I only come here for lent. It's the place to be for lent. The parking lot is very small. Prices are a bit steep.

I had the address on my car navigation but as I drove up to the block I noticed the 4 Vientos truck and wrongly assumed this was Jalisco. So I turned it and promptly ordered at the truck. I did briefly question why the signage was different but the long queues and the delicious looking morsels that everyone around me were eating made me assume once again that I was at the right place. In my ignorance, I did not know that this entire stretch of Olympic Blvd was home to many such mariscos and taco trucks. In any case, I ordered. I ate. I was plenty satisfied and more than impressed and it wasn't until after I got home and did more research that I realized I was at the 4 Vientos truck. Well, no harm done. It just meant I needed to go back for the Jalisco truck very soon. Fresh seafood! Excellent tostadas. You can't go wrong!

The avocado and salsa on top also added creaminess and freshness. It wasn't as flavorful compared to a similar taco from the nearby Mariscos Jalisco, but I did enjoy the raw seafood and fresh flavors. The spot is a food truck with no areas to sit (not sure of there was). Cash only I believe as well. A great spot, but I think I would still opt for Mariscos Jalisco.

Given the hours and the proximity to a medical building (University of Southern California Health Sciences Campus), I think a lot of the business comes there. If you are nearby or able to get there early on a weekday or stop by on the weekend before 5 o'clock, you'll be treated to some of the most delicious and reasonably priced mariscos. I was able to come on a weekday before close so the place wasn't that busy at all. I placed my order and sat in the back courtyard area outside seating. I got tostada with shrimp mango ceviche as well as two tacos dorados with shrimp. Super fresh and crispy shells and super fresh delicious seafood. They also definitely didn't skimp on the fresh avocado. My meal was such a joy to eat. It will take a little planning, but I definitely wanna come back soon.

Fresh veggies, mildly spicy and tangy sauce, and the fried shrimp enclosed in the taco shells make for a really fun blend of flavors and textures. I would have liked less sauce though, because I like my tacos not becoming soggy. Unusual location, but good food and quality!
