    Ceviche de camarón.

I was hesitant because I'm so picky about mariscos, but we had the ceviche de camarón and it was soooo good! And amazing service.

The food was so delicious. Has all new tables and remodel the bathrooms probably no more than a year ago, since I last visited. Service was excellent our waitress "Chinna" was so polite and friendly. I highly recommend to try the food there very fresh. I am definitely coming back real soon. The only concern is parking It's a very small lot you may have to park on the street.

Food and services is great! Only downside is they charge 3.5 % fee for all card transactions. (Bring cash)

The few times I've been here, I've had an excellent experience. The food is delicious and the seafood is very fresh! Their portions are very generous and are excellent for sharing. Their menu is very broad and there's something good for everyone whether you like seafood or not. I love the fact that they have something new every time I come.

This is my favorite restaurant in Boyle Heights. That is a bold statement when considering how much amazing food is in this neighborhood. With the option of grilled fish tacos, it provides a healthier alternative to the dominant Baja-style (fried) fish tacos. The Caldo 7 Mares is Mexico's answer to boulliabase, presented in a huge bowl and seasoned with lime & chile spice. Mojarra frita and a bucket of beers is also a personal favorite. The portions are generous, and the random Mariachi performances make for an enjoyable atmosphere. For years, I waited for the bus on the same corner, and would lament not having time to sit and have a meal there. Thanks to Mariscos Tampico for giving love on a plate to East Los.

Mariscos Tampico is a good place to go with your family. Service is good. Went there today for Mother's Day and even though it was packed we waited like 5 minutes to get a table. The waitresses provide good service and they are friendly. They give you two plates of corn chips while you wait for your order to arrive. Then they give you a plate with some soup (appetizer) before you actually get your food. I would go again someday :) PS: if you like habanero sauce they have about 5 different ones you can chose from

When i came i wad the only person here, i do not know how it is when its fully packed. To me, the service was outstanding, the place is well put together and very clean...decorated very nicely with a familt atmosphere in the kitchen.. the tostadas are very fresh and good, the aguacates or avocados to some people lol are extremely fresh....the parking ia very small though. Shared with about four to five other businesses. Besides that very well organized...cant beat mariscos in east los angeles california, the best...enjoy..

    Caldo de camaron!!

My waiter, Gabriel, was extremely friendly, welcoming, and had very good knowledge of the menu which I appreciate a lot. Now back to the omelette-- oh my god. Best omelette in my life I think. The eggs were soft, pillowy and cooked to PERFECTION. Not overdone and not super runny either. The chicken was extremely tender and flavorful. The sauce they used was sweet and savory, the pickled onions balanced it all out with the perfect acidity. I wish I was around this area a lot more, I'll definitely be coming back!

When we walked in there were lots of empty tables and there are two sides - One side for drinks and one for food/baked goods but you can order drinks/food on both sides. I got their Vegan Bagel ($12.75) which came with vegan cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, red pickled onions and micro greens with their roasted potatoes. I just wanted something a little better than what I had been eating, so when they said they ran out of vegan cream cheese I said to use normal cream cheese. It was deliciously savory with nice crunches of cucumber and fresh tomatoes on top. Very filling too...I hadn't had a bagel in a while. My husband got one of their plates with toast, egg and sausage, sorry can't remember the name of the dish. The sausage was pretty good, not too salty and not sweet but flavored nicely with a nice kick. Everything else was pretty standard (eggs, toast, potatoes). We did get a cinnamon roll (which the best part of one is the middle piece) and he got coffee and I got tea. I got their Sunset Oolong ($7) which had oolong tea, orange lily and ruby amaranth. It was a little earthy but there's enough tea to split between two people, and it's only served hot. Next time I try this place I'd get something else. This place is cute and they offer mostly cookies as baked goods (that earl grey flower one looked good but I didn't try it/next time I will).

I thought the prices were a bit high, but I was wrong, you get what you pay for and it's a lot! Thank you! The flat white coffee, may have been my mistake... but I it was smaller than I wish it was. Maybe I didn't clarify that I wanted a large. Other than that I was very pleased with my order. I will go again if I am in the area!

This place is absolutely amazing and definitely a must-try if you're in the area. Even if you're not, it's worth the trip. Everything we tried was delicious, and the espresso drinks were delightful-- not too sweet, just the right balance. We've actually been back three times since our first visit, and the experience has been amazing every time. The staff is super friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. The location might surprise you. This gem is tucked away in a somewhat random location, with no real storefront, in a small downtown-style corridor. The seating area is next door, which is also a little unexpected, but it's very cute and nicely done. The food has bold, explosive flavors and is truly something different. Everything we've tried has been delicious and memorable. Even though I live about 45 minutes away, I'll definitely be coming back with friends and family. I never really thought much of cafe food anyway... until I had the Chimi Sando. Jesus Christ. That sandwich was sooooo good. Being 34 weeks pregnant now has completely thrown off my taste buds, and I've been telling Michaela, the co-owner, that I don't even recognize myself anymore. I don't know what I like, and I can't do the super sugary coffees I used to get from other places anymore. She recommended some beans and cold brews based on what I was looking for, and every single recommendation was so good. Michaela is just awesome. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about what they're creating and the experience they're giving people. She even surprised me and my husband with some complimentary tostadas, I honestly don't know exactly what was on them, but whatever it was...was soooo good! The whole experience was just so good, great coffee, great food, great people, and such a welcoming vibe. Ulew was already one of my favorite coffee spots, but now knowing the person behind it makes me love it even more.
