I went again last weekend with my boyfriend and our friend during the wine hopping event. This time it was busy. We were seated in the back room that felt like a conference room. I felt like I was excluded from the party because we didn't buy the tickets for the event. We were still paying customers. I did the wine tasting with 3 red wines and a personal charcuterie board. Bad time to come because we felt unwelcome. Limited to where we can sit. "It's reserved" Pros - lots of free parking - cute decor - good charcuterie board - waitress was nice Cons - I didn't like any of my wine - bad pour for the price - Boring I won't be back. There wasn't anything memorable.

The atmosphere is always welcoming, especially on live music nights. The owner is incredibly friendly and makes it a point to personally connect with every guest, which makes the experience feel even more special and intimate. It is a smaller venue, so I highly recommend making reservations if you want guaranteed seating because once the live music starts, the place fills up FAST. But every single time I go, it's always a great experience. One thing I truly love most about this spot is how it naturally brings people together. I've met new friends just by sitting, chatting, and enjoying the music and wine. It's such a positive and inviting environment. If you're ever in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by and showing support. And I absolutely have to add it's a Black-owned business, so let's continue supporting and pouring into businesses that create spaces like this for the community.

My ONLY gripe is the reservation system that looks like it's always booked - but even if the reservation looks full, there will always be a place for you here. Service was fairly quick and friendly. The drinks were all sweet cocktails and in the "Matterhorn Lodge" theme. There is a 2 drink minimum purchase (per guest) and each drink is $20+ so it can add up. I'm more of a beer person but some of the drinks were delicious. There was one that tasted like Christmas morning (cinnamon, clove, milky) and another drink that had popping boba that was also fun. If you're a butterfinger or peanut butter fan, there was one drink that tasted like it (you'll see it on the drink menu). I wouldn't say the drinks were strong. Just a heads up, it's not a full menu restaurant, but rather a tapas-style rooftop bar, which makes it perfect for sharing and enjoying the ambiance. The drinks were expertly crafted with quality spirits, and every dish we tried was flavorful and well prepared. We had the Bao beef buns, spinach and artichoke dip, beef empanadas, the Flat Iron Steak, and the layered chocolate cake for dessert -- all were delicious and beautifully presented. As it was our first time, we did not make a reservation and had to wait for 30-40 minutes, as it was a busy evening. In my opinion, everything was outstanding, rating 10/10. This is a cocktail de pulpo, which is squid. He returned with the correct one, but definitely had an attitude. We no longer saw him not even to have our waters refilled. When we are done, I got up to go pay the bill and inquired if there was a manager there. A gentleman with a long sleeve shirt that appeared to be a manager was there and I asked him if he was so. He said he was, and when I commented him about the server, who was there not only serving but charging and collecting the money, he said well I'm the manager, but this guy is one in charge because he's related to the ownership of some sort. So I replied, so he's the one that is really in charge and he said yes. I called the next day, Sunday, around noon and spoke to someone and asked if I could speak to the manager. He told me his name which was Ricardo, and I asked by chance to see the one that was there last night and he said yes. And I asked him if there is someone higher up that I may speak with which his reply was no there wasn't.. I gave my name and number and asked if he can return my call which is right now 12:45 on Monday, he has not bothered to call me. I wanted to give him a heads up that I was going to put a bad review on Yelp, but I guess he didn't even think it was important enough for him to call me back. There is another Mexican restaurant in my area, that not too long changed ownership. Where the servers are connected to the ownership and they themselves also have very bad attitudes in what is definitely a I'm entitled attitude, which also gives bad service. When I heard that this guy at Gloria was related to the ownership I summized that's why he's like that. No accountability. As I said, previously, the food had gone from bad to worse, and I even asked ouwaiter if they had changed the cook, which is reply with no. This will definitely be the last time not only that we go there but that we recommend to anyone. That's a shame because it was at one time, a very good restaurant. For anyone that is reading this save your money and go somewhere which I don't either. Do they appreciate you but give you better food. My friend honestly said we should've gone to Denny's.

The entire space is fully outdoors on the roof, making it the ultimate spot to catch the sunset. Since it is open air, I imagine midday can get warm and winter evenings a bit chilly, but they have plenty of heaters scattered throughout to keep things comfortable. Our server was fantastic and took the time to explain that everything is made completely from scratch, from the breads and pastas to every sauce, and the quality truly speaks for itself. The food and drinks: Chili Garlic Fries: Super crispy with bold flavor and the perfect level of kick. The house ranch served alongside is incredible. Caesar Salad: A classic, straightforward Caesar that was fresh, crisp, and exactly what you'd expect. Bolognese: Generous portion (easily shareable!) loaded with tender, flavorful chunks of meat. The creamy ricotta on top pulls the entire dish together. Carbonara: Truly authentic. Made the traditional way with egg yolks, black pepper, cheese, and savory pork bits with no heavy cream shortcuts. The pasta itself was cooked to an absolute, perfect al dente. Drinks: The NA tea was refreshing, and the fig infused bourbon Old Fashioned had wonderful flavor notes from the infusion, though it leaned slightly on the sweeter side. Quick tip on finding it: The entrance is not inside the main hotel lobby. Look for a dedicated elevator entrance just to the left of the hotel. There is a large sign directly above it, so it is super easy to spot. Between the ambiance, top tier scratch kitchen dishes, and great service, we will definitely be back. 5/5 stars!

The only truly hot items were the soup and French Fries. Only two desserts were offered, on which we both passed. Other than feeling like we were being rushed through our meal, service was good.
